How to release the neck

    I have a machine at the gym that I especially like. You set the weight reach up to the handles and pull down to sit on the bench. Then pull down as many times as you can to strengthen the back muscles.
    I'm 68, 5'-5", 130lbs and crushed a bone in my back almost 2 years ago. I pull down 30lbs several times and still don't feel any back muscles. What I like is hanging from it, opening up the ribs and wiggle to get the juices flowing in all the little vertebrae. I don't hurt my shoulders with this exercise.
