Very nice build, impressive amount of performance for something barely bigger than a console, the 7800X3D is especially power efficient, so really great for small form factors like this. Also nice to see AMD hooking you up for this one, hopefully you get to do more collabs like this :)
I remember Origin BIG O Gaming PC back in 2019 which came with hardware combination of PS4 Pro,Xbox one X and Nintendo switch with RTX 2080TI and I9 9th generation
Hi Ben can you tell me what cpu cooler you used ? Thinking about it would be great if you could do a proper list of the parts you used. While I was googling the memory you used ebuyer had 6 variations of the same corsair sticks ranging from £89.99 to 109.98 !
youd be better off going with 5800x3d, pretty much same perf but at lower platform cost, since obv its amd sponsored hes pushing for am5 for being future proofed, however no at lower price today and not that much lower perf in gaming it is better choice to go am4 and save up some cash for better gpu, in terms of cooler you might find a taller one that could fit in this case or (as i did few years ago) zip tie an additional fan to panel directly above the cpu for bit more cooling
That Noctua cooler is inadequate. Noctua NH-L9x65 or Noctua ghost S1 would be ideal. Also for GPU fans you want 120mmx15mm fans as 25mm are too close to the GPU and will case turbulence at higher RPM.
The card is good for 4k, now imagine 1440p, is an absolute monster lol. Planning on buying the 7900xt to play at 1800p upscaled to 4k with RSR in my 4k 120hz tv. Should be good at 60fps for demanding titles and 120fps for competitive ones.
where do u buy those games at? i never own a gaming pc..mostly consoles. because i dont know how to build a gaming pc by parts.. can u do a room house tour/ or your office tour?
@@7xyn If I'm using it for all purposes (schoolwork, gaming, digital art, productivity, etc.) would a 4060 be better? On User Benchmark the 4060 has better stats (except when it comes to advanced graphics).
Hey! Does anyone have any ideas where I could actually BUY compact, custom (or pre-built) gaming pcs?? I basically want to put it in my living room as a console and play like Starfield in 4k 60 lol
this is actually the exact same build i was planning on making as a console replacement, only difference would be running HoloISO instead of windows. I'm very impressed with the RT performance of the 7900XT, I knew it wasn't bad but I wasn't expecting 90 fps in Hogwarts Legacy at 1440p, albeit with some light FSR but still, very impressive. The CPU cooler that you used is the NH9i correct?
Why did you use Asus motherboard software with an Msi motherboard ? I am not saying that you can’t do that but using something else like hardware info or Msi afterburner could help you get more information about temperature or other things.
I plan to build this but with a 7600x cpu and a beefier cooler. I've also seen people sneak some noctua 60mm fans as exhaust in between the frame of the case, so I'll attempt that as well, hoping the cpu temps will stay in the low-mid 70's
I’m curious how it performs at 4K because i did think of exact same spec in mind using the fractal ridge i.e 7800x3d, 7900xt, 32gb ddr5. I calculated the build will cost me somewhere around sgd 3k-3.2K (without monitor, kb, mouse, speaker). Feels very high for me just to play games at 4K as I’m comparing with my xbox series x. If you did some benchmark at 4K, would love to know some numbers as reference. Thanks

Just saying I don't have a gaming PC yet but I will make one in the future. Ps I'm 15
Can you share the exact components list you used in this build? I cant figure out was it ROG Loki 650W power supply, Noctua L9A :D
Do I need to watch entire video just to find out which case is that? Was is so hard to include a case name in the description?
This build will run you about $2,217.96 USD.
Oof

Oh is that all

Love the form factor. I do wish you included a build list in the description, but good video.
That's why I gave a thumbs down.
Yeah I agree, I had to really study the video to find all the parts they use. Right now on Amazon it will cost just short of $3,000 before tax.

What are your temps ? Did you undervolt the CPU ?
What's the console like interface you are using here 0:06

U can undervolt the CPU and GPU and temps will be much lower without affecting performance.
Is there a prebuild of this somewhere? If so, where could i get it. Not much of a pc builder lol

Did no one notice that the degrees for the PC was in Celsius? That's really hot for the pc.
I always thought upgrading from my 1060 would be super daunting but this looks so clean and smol. I can't wait to buy some parts and set it up!
i recommend upgrading to a rx 6600 xt or a rx 6650 xt instead of a rtx 3060 or rtx 3060ti because the amd gpus are cheaper and better
but then again, consider your usage, for gaming amd already solid choice nowdays, for creation build amd gpu still has 50:50 chage of work or not

I had issues with the MSI board, so had to switched it out to finish video while it’s getting fixed. But will be going back in once I got it back.

@username-TheBenRowlands @username really?
why asus dashboard when you use msi motherboard ???? it says " ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI ". not msi motherboard
Could the Jiushark JF13-K (the low profile CPU cooler) fit in this case?
List of parts in the build?

How much did it cost to build.

This system would absolutely smash 4k gaming, but honestly a Ryzen 7 5700 and a RX6800 would be cheaper and still run well
huh am4 and am5 are two diff sockets so i u cant interchange the cpu’s from these two systems

is there a way to have a full mesh panel at the side for ,more cooling?
