Parts that feel the most like you're breaking something is just putting in the ram, pulling down the cpu retention lock, and slotting in the gpu. Even on those, you can put in quite a bit of force without breaking anything.

this was a great instructional video, people always do the physical build but never explain how to update bios, then install windows, then update windows, then install drivers and then finally applications wanting to be used or played. or itll be a seperate video that like no one watches. you did leave out a lot of info part to part but you did get the main point and main explanation across. with the AIO you did mount it incorrect, if youre not mounting it as an exhaust on the top, yes you can indeed mount it on the front or side panel, but the tubes should be on the bottom. as the pump circulates new water the hoses over time degrade and will evaporate some water, it creates air bubbles, if the tubes are at the bottom the air bubbles sit at the top of the radiator and will never be circulated to the pump, with the tubes at the top the air will sit in the tubes and will be pulled into the pump and will ruin the pump. yes it does take awhile for this to happen, but an AIO should be fine for 5 ish years, or until you upgrade your cpu, which is 4-6 years for most people
I can't understand how I did it back in the days before google n TH-cam... Lol. Just read the little pamphlets and go through the steps. Pretty easy. It's not like you need to move jumpers even like those good ol days when I started
Was nervous about building a PC for the first time by myself, but you walked me through it well, and it's currently installing Windows. Thank you so much!
Learned by owning prebuilds first and just swapping single components over and over, and killed couple mobos and psu too. This was before TH-cam was a thing... Get comfy with that. now i am gettin comfy with AIOs, still not sure if i wana try custom water loop. AIO i can handle for now it seems.
Disabling the Secure Boot and turning on CSM almost bricked my new build. I had to short a set of pins and reset the motherboard to default and NOT do that step. Smooth sailing afterwards. Maybe I'm just an idiot but something about that step made it so my pc wouldn't boot
I'm doing my first case swap / upgrade, I've wanted to learn how to do this for a while now just to save money instead of buying prebuilt PCs. Idk why, but I'm friggin nervous. Case should be here in a couple days and I'm just gonna go for it.
Great video, watched cause I was board. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of support for the GPU because modern ones are so much heavier that the sag is breaking the PCB.
putting my first gaming pc together today and tomorrow, always played on a laptop.. started with a white asus rog strix b760 a wifi mobo.. i5-12600k, RX 7700 XT, 32GB ddr5 corsair vengeance white rgb, 2tb nvme crucial p3 plus, nzxt h6 white case, white thermalright cpu cooler, corsair 750w psu. I just assembled the motherboard and all components and then put the motherboard in the case. Tomorrow I start all the cabling. Your videos have been great thanks!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but if the exhaust fans are on the radiator, would that not mean that the cpu isn’t getting cooled as much since hot air is going through the radiator instead of cool air? I thought the fans on the radiator cool it down by sucking/pushing cool air through.
Its not that straight forward as there are different opinions … It still cools by removing heat coming from the radiator and gets it out immediately … but usually it is recommended to use the radiator as intake fans. Some just say that this way the heat from the radiators is pushed/pulled straight into the inside of the PC where you do not want hot air. But thats removed by the exhaust fans.
I just got a 2400$ pc arriving cant wait to build it. Ive watched so many videos i can build it with my eyes closed 😂. And im still watching on other models and cases to see other peoples methods.
@jacobhoover4393 it was extremely easy. I did watch about 10 pc building videos just to not make mistakes. Updating the bios was the scariest part. (It's not required, btw). Make sure if you get a strong gpu that you get a powerful psu. Otherwise, you might not have enough pcie connectors.
This is the only thing I don’t have to game on at this point so I’ve saved and downloaded this video for when I finally have the money to buy more hardware lol
building a pc looks easy. the hardest part would probably checking out if each parts are compatible w/ each other or making everything efficient? is there a site where this can be done? like a parts compatibility checklist?
How good does this PC design and its components work when playing games.can it run games like cyberpunk 2077 at full graphics? Cause I want a high end pc to play heavy games and do some yt content with it aswell. Thx Ben
I started building computers when I was 8 (I'm 40 now). It's good to know not much has changed aside from technology. I recommended this video to someone looking to get her kid a gaming PC with the insistence that she instead help her child build one. This video is invaluable, as will be the impact it'll have on her kid's life. Great work!
quick tip: when following a well setup tutorial like this, follow it to the tee. its really easy to screw up your first time and either ruin the system or a cause for you to restart
Nope … horrible recommendation … never do that … always work flexibly according to the situation at home! Restart? Why? You simply check the steps you have already done!
Im on my first build. 1 question i have regaring the radiator is; does it matter if i mount with the pipes at the top or the bottom of the case if im front mounting the radiator?
Hi, I've bought an AIO for my pc and my motherboard doesn't have 2 CPU headers for it and I have to connect the pump to the CPU_Fan header and the fans from radiator to SYS_Fan header, is there anything that I can do without changing the motherboard?😢
You provide pretty much no info at all! Why should the AIO go to fan header? Most motherboards have a pump header. My AIO went to pump header and thats it … the fans were connected to the AIO the cpu fan header remained empty. Did you try to link cpu fans & pump with adapter to cpu fan? How many fan headers does your motherboard have? Asides cpu and system any others? You can hook up all fans to system fans but won’t be able to separately adjust radiator fans. You must always check with your aio and mobo manuals what those suggest! Sounds like you got an ancient board … and hence CPU … what do you need water cooling for? A fan should be sufficient. Always check if you can use the stuff you buy with your PC … hooking up, space and if PSU enough!
I tried to set up my pc before my dedicated gpu comes in and after I enabled everything and disabled secure boot and enabled CSM, I tried to boot up windows by doing the boot override and now my screen is showing no signal once I turn on the PC. I don't know how to fix this
I have no idea why you're turning off Secure Boot and enabling CSM. It should be the opposite. On most motherboards, you can set the video output device. By default, it should be set to auto or PCI-E.
@@JJFlores197 that makes sense since I did reset my bios and as soon as soon as I turn on CSM and reboot my pc it won’t show signal so I’ll have that off then and won’t enable it
Its straight forward … in simple words … you have a limited number of fan and RGB ports on the motherboard … hence you must link up your fans and RGB in the PC so the number of fan and RGB ports on the motherboard fit. Eg … linking up 10 case fans to 1 or 2 case fan ports … or 15 RGB devices to 1 or 2 RGB ports.
what are you talking about, CSM is required disabled for windows 11, its compatibility for legacy and you don't need that if you have a brand new computer parts and windows 11, also secure boot is required, you need it enabled

Great job man cool PC man!! Nice build man!!!
this is my first time build my own pc ben think you 🙂
super mind blowing marvious welldone my boy your are genius
Disabling the Secure Boot and turning on CSM almost bricked my new build. I had to short a set of pins and reset the motherboard to default and NOT do that step. Smooth sailing afterwards. Maybe I'm just an idiot but something about that step made it so my pc wouldn't boot
I'm doing my first case swap / upgrade, I've wanted to learn how to do this for a while now just to save money instead of buying prebuilt PCs. Idk why, but I'm friggin nervous. Case should be here in a couple days and I'm just gonna go for it.
I started building a pc in may I’ve paused because parts are expensive and I’ve bought other things idk
So you have to make sure the gpu fits inside the case but without physically seeing it?
You can search up your case dimensions and gpu dimensions online
Love this! Thank you!
Great video, watched cause I was board. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of support for the GPU because modern ones are so much heavier that the sag is breaking the PCB.
Not necessarily needed … with my RTX FE 3090 Ti nothing was sagging.
Good Build Buddy
putting my first gaming pc together today and tomorrow, always played on a laptop.. started with a white asus rog strix b760 a wifi mobo.. i5-12600k, RX 7700 XT, 32GB ddr5 corsair vengeance white rgb, 2tb nvme crucial p3 plus, nzxt h6 white case, white thermalright cpu cooler, corsair 750w psu. I just assembled the motherboard and all components and then put the motherboard in the case. Tomorrow I start all the cabling. Your videos have been great thanks!
Thanks for the video❤
I will keep this video on the cue to help me. Thx.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but if the exhaust fans are on the radiator, would that not mean that the cpu isn’t getting cooled as much since hot air is going through the radiator instead of cool air? I thought the fans on the radiator cool it down by sucking/pushing cool air through.
I was thinking the same thing.
Nice video and the fans i like the conecting ones less cables
I don’t understand a single thing in the video or comments but I got all my parts and need to build this
I just got a 2400$ pc arriving cant wait to build it. Ive watched so many videos i can build it with my eyes closed 😂. And im still watching on other models and cases to see other peoples methods.
@Terminator- You're right. I was just happy to be able to build such a beast of a pc for the first time. Happy New Year.
@@GForceIntelThat’s awesome dude, how did the building process go? I’ll be doing the same soon
@@GForceIntelI care friend. Am buying parts for a pc in the summer after saving up
Guy above cared enough to leave a comment
God I can only dream of stuff like this, been wanting to build a pc for years but I’ve never been able to afford it like at all
In the same boat, hoping 2024-25 is when I'll save up enough to make an attempt. We'll get there 🤞
Thinking about getting a pc but I honestly don't feel comfortable with how little I know at the moment
Yeah the cooling wouldn't be great it definetly works but warms air goes up which wouldn't make the airflow too nice anyway good video!
tysm for this guide!
Watching this so I can learn to build my first pc when I have money
Ty !! Im about to build mine soon , im new to pc gaming . 😅
This is the only thing I don’t have to game on at this point so I’ve saved and downloaded this video for when I finally have the money to buy more hardware lol
Im more interested in the guitars on the wall.
what about the hot air ? how it will go out while you dont have fan for it ?
building a pc looks easy. the hardest part would probably checking out if each parts are compatible w/ each other or making everything efficient? is there a site where this can be done? like a parts compatibility checklist?
Newegg is great just used it to decide on my parts
UP ! want to know also
pcpartpicker will check compatibility but not if the ram or gpu will fit in the case
52:41 You keep saying "CMS", but it's "CSM" (compatibility support module).
How good does this PC design and its components work when playing games.can it run games like cyberpunk 2077 at full graphics? Cause I want a high end pc to play heavy games and do some yt content with it aswell.
Thx Ben
really need to start building my pc
I started building computers when I was 8 (I'm 40 now). It's good to know not much has changed aside from technology.
I recommended this video to someone looking to get her kid a gaming PC with the insistence that she instead help her child build one. This video is invaluable, as will be the impact it'll have on her kid's life. Great work!
Boutta try this
It went well
quick tip: when following a well setup tutorial like this, follow it to the tee. its really easy to screw up your first time and either ruin the system or a cause for you to restart
Nope … horrible recommendation … never do that … always work flexibly according to the situation at home! Restart? Why? You simply check the steps you have already done!
Cool video
Peter Parker taught me how to build a PC!
Got that same tool kit at harbor freight under the Quinn brand
Do you get cables with the power supply?
Im on my first build. 1 question i have regaring the radiator is;
does it matter if i mount with the pipes at the top or the bottom of the case if im front mounting the radiator?
Always check if you can use the stuff you buy with your PC … hooking up, space and if PSU enough!
i think the most important thing i learned is dont get a form factor that puts the radiator and memory modules next to each other
I tried to set up my pc before my dedicated gpu comes in and after I enabled everything and disabled secure boot and enabled CSM, I tried to boot up windows by doing the boot override and now my screen is showing no signal once I turn on the PC. I don't know how to fix this
I have no idea why you're turning off Secure Boot and enabling CSM. It should be the opposite. On most motherboards, you can set the video output device. By default, it should be set to auto or PCI-E.
@@JJFlores197 that makes sense since I did reset my bios and as soon as soon as I turn on CSM and reboot my pc it won’t show signal so I’ll have that off then and won’t enable it
The fans bit confused me
Same
Its straight forward … in simple words … you have a limited number of fan and RGB ports on the motherboard … hence you must link up your fans and RGB in the PC so the number of fan and RGB ports on the motherboard fit. Eg … linking up 10 case fans to 1 or 2 case fan ports … or 15 RGB devices to 1 or 2 RGB ports.
Building my first pc tomorrow wish me luck guys 🤞🏽
what are you talking about, CSM is required disabled for windows 11, its compatibility for legacy and you don't need that if you have a brand new computer parts and windows 11, also secure boot is required, you need it enabled
fr? did i just brick my new build then
Like a console+ tv + how to record gameplay, editing & uploading stuff
Hey I found the list of the items but is there an amount of how much of each or etc of what I should get on there
Only thing I didn’t like was the negative air flow you put thankfully the case has good airflow so imagine the pc was nice and cool/warm
