  • This is an Entrepreneurship Masterclass, I sat down with an incredible entrepreneur, author and friend, Daniel Priestley for almost a 3 hour conversation diving into how AI will impact businesses, the business models and trends that we need to know about and our philosophies for life and success.
Daniel explains how we stand on the cusp of a new era where AI is a multi purpose invention that will affect every single aspect of our lives. With a keen eye on future trends, he discusses how businesses can adapt to remain competitive and relevant in an increasingly automated world.

I love how open and honest is Daniel, I agree with everything he says. James, please wait until the other person finishes sentences, don't interrupt all the time. You speak more than Daniel. Presenters' listening skills are more important than speaking.

D'you know what? I love how this interviewer pushed on certain questions but I love even more how Daniel stood by what he believes and was willing to back it up. I was watching a clip of Angelina Jolie the other day where she said "I will never understand why this is my life and why that is theirs", referring to a woman on the other side of the earth and now lives their life as a refugee not knowing where the next meal for their family will come from. Acknowledging that she is probably no more talented and no more hardworking than that person, but somehow, she was born at the right place, at the right time and with access to plethora of opportunities. Thank you Daniel, you are a good person for thinking like this!

Really touched by the discussion about grandparents. My gran loaned me the money to get my first few property deals under my belt at 90 years old. Coming from a large family, she never wanted to favour anyone, and told me that if she died before the deals finished, she told me that I had to repay it immediately so that no-one got upset.
Ill never forget how my gran helped me and how that changed our family forever!

Ali Abdaal’s audience is so engaged, I think my interview has now had 180,000 downloads and produced 1,500 leads in the first 90 days. So conservatively with Dan’s 2m+ views that’s easily 15,000 leads and based on my revenue from the interview, at least £1m in new business for Dent and ScoreApp. Not bad for a few hours work 😉😉

Oh wow Dan…The clarity with which you explain concepts like escape velocity, distinguishing between different types of entrepreneurs and businesses and explaining why you are interested in the businesses that you are, is impressive. Your confidence in your identity and your work is admirable, and your unwavering perspective on business is inspiring…I love that you are not shaken by any other type of entrepreneur’s pov and you still engage respectfully without ego which is rare to see. My husband and I are now adopting your approach for our businesses. Thank you, Dan!

The insights on AI's impact on business from Daniel Priestley are spot-on. For entrepreneurs looking to stay ahead, consider leveraging AI for predictive analytics in your sales process-it can significantly enhance forecasting accuracy and pinpoint untapped opportunities. The key is to integrate AI in a way that complements human creativity and strategy.

Daniel Priestley was one of the first of the modern business people I came across, probably 10 or so years ago. It's weird that he's now only just trending. He missed a trick by not going onto digital platforms like TH-cam sooner. As such, others have stole his true thunder - he'd have 100M+ subs if he'd have moved first.

I really enjoyed this interview and although I know there were some responses cut short (now I think back on the interview, didn't notice too much at the time) I just enjoyed two friends "talking shop" and bromancing. James is such a fan boy 😆 but I think it made for a nice relaxed interview. I think DOACEO can be a bit heavy for me at times so I'm glad of an interview where it's a two way conversation.

Great Interview James, really enjoy your content and love your channel. To give some honest feedback, many times you’ve cut off Daniel mid sentence. I know you’re excited to respond to him, and you have amazing insight yourself but sometimes I really wanted to hear what he had to say and you politely bit somewhat abruptly cut him off. Not to be critical, just an observation and possibly something that can be improved upon for upcoming interviews.
Thank you for having Daniel on, you both are amazing and inspirational entrepreneurs!!

@@hassanamir387No, business people and entrepreneurs don't actually, with most working 60 hour+ weeks. You aren't going to gamble on watching something for 3 hours without knowing specific detail of what is covered. People's time is precious, so give people the option.

Minute 1.53.21 houses do not make money in the Uk..? This applies to houses in the south but not in the north or specifically Yorkshire where both rental yields and capital growth is great. It’s mostly a hands off business if you do it right and choose great tenants. And it’s low risk compared to other businesses. Not everyone has 500,000k to invest into a saas. Managing more than a handful of employees would be a pain to me not managing great tenants.

UAE - If you earn 100K you get the keep 100k? Well, that not true mate - cost of living is high in Dubai & negates the zero tax advantage. I have seen people who moved to Dubai 3 to 4 years back move out of Dubai due to this reason.

James, have you considered that you may have ADHD? Your behaviour, inability to just listen, the need to say what comes to your mind immediately, the difficulty recalling what was just said.....
Knowing this about yourself will change your life.

I disagree about Lego not innovating. Maybe not innovating the core IP of how the bricks stick together but they've innovated in other areas to ensure their ongoing success (see JS' company quadrant #2 - Company you want to be).
Risks, data and insights were all involved to achieve this.
They've innovated their channels: Movies, Video games.
They've innovated their partnerships: Minecraft, Disney, Nintendo, etc.
They've innovated to understand their markets through different age ranges
They've innovated to understand their markets through collectors sets.
To achieve that innovation Lego had to go through a digital transformation, and think bigger than being just children's toy bricks at a retail store.

James, with all due respect, please give more chances for your podcast guest to speak. You keep interrupting and talking over them too often.

James, not here for you, it’s the people your being on. Take a backseat on your next interview, or get your team to being in someone to coach you on listening.

I’m so sorry. I’ll try harder.
Just an FYI It’s not an interview, it’s a conversation.

Everything he is saying is just obvious common sense if you have been researching online business for the last few years like I have. Also the quiz idea is widely known as the top lead generator for years. It’s not his creation like the interviewer seems to think 😂

Hi James, love your energy and stuff .. it’s great! But honestly only came here because you interviewed Dan …. could you please interrupt your guests less? & allow them to speak more … I think Dan didn’t say as much as he wanted to.

Very cool conversation. The Bible (The Word of God, whether you believe or not) already talks about a one world system thats going to come into play. Guys wrap your heads around that one. Hate to be doom and gloom but some seriously hard times are ahead. Hope once youve invested materially I hope you've also invested spiritually 'cause all we see and have now wont last forever. Jesus is a good place to start.

Store up your treasures in AI and you will live forever and ever and be just like God. That's the new religion. That is, until the grid goes down.

So many contradictions in a few minutes: we shouldn't be taxing people, but we need a strong military, food security and energy independence. Don't these things come from taxation? Or am I missing something?

    • @JamesSinclairEntrepreneur
      @JamesSinclairEntrepreneur  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Of course we should tax people. From my side, we should make tax fairer so it’s from profits not turnover.

Enjoying the chat but and it is a big but, you both seemed to push a totalitarian system of government (25.00 mins in)but a libertarian low tax capitalist economy................

    • @DanielPriestley
      @DanielPriestley 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Absolutely not interested in anything remotely close to a totalitarian government.
I think we talked about a government that could get stuff done with less in-fighting … hopefully that could be achieved with a smaller government that does the few things government is good at well.

Demography is so important. The West as a whole is replacing it’s population with a lower IQ one, implementing quotas on recruitment, the result? “Competency crisis”, planes catching fire, trains derailing and so on. My advice is get as rural, and as independent as you can. There is no chance that Western civilisation continues under these conditions. Collapse, and ethnic breakup is inevitable.
