On VAT, I think different rates ors not work. As say large restuant groups will benefit more than a start up. My vew is raise the VAT threshold for B to C business. Then give a upto 80k or 100 turn over. make it do that business do not have to pass the first £16K of VAT to the robbery department* 16% being the VAT on 80K of turn over So no downside of going to say £81k of turn over and then going forward hit by £16k of VAT. * I had a sister in law that worked for the tax department in NZ. She told me that poeple often write checks out to the Robbery Department Banks always honoured them.
It seems the best entrepreneurs in the UK are based in the service economy and employing predominantly low skilled workers, while all the skilled people are leaving. Getting engineers to fix anything is difficult.
You are Amazing! I learn a lot just from your mistakes and positive understanding to conquer the Gold! I run a very small scooter rental company at Disneyland and yeah have to admit it's hard work and long hours. You give me motivation to view myself as the CEO! That is Gold to my Heart ♥!

We wouldn’t do that, we make good money at RC; we wouldn’t just close a profitable business down. If it lost money; then yes for sure, but it certainly doesn’t.
