Who am I?
My name is James Sinclair and I'm the founder and CEO of The Partyman Group of Companies. I started building my business when I was just 16 as a family entertainer after that I built up an entertainment agency, then moved into building a leisure and day nursery businesses. Today we operate a £30 million business which includes leisure, childcare, outdoor attractions, commercial property, arts and crafts manufacturing as well as one of the UK’s oldest Ice cream companies; The Rossi Ice Cream Company.

Great content James - I have shared with some fellow entrepreneurs. Only point I would challenge you on is the need for high GP. Whilst of course we would all love a high GP, there is no reason you can’t build a successful business with a 20-25% GP and 10-12% NP. What do you think ? Dani
In my experience- a 20% GP delivering a 10% net profit ….. I haven’t seen before.

Struggling to see how you’re a 40 mil business when none of your 15 businesses are audited 🤔. Anyone knows you get an audit if you’re over the 10 mil mark or employ over 50 people, I call 🐂💩.
I have 23 companies. 2 of which will be audited this next financial year. You’re welcome. You get 2 years grace and rather than go for audit we have always started other companies to avoid the audit fees. Going forward that’s not possible anymore as 2 of them will make it in their own right anyhow.
