    If you’re a fan of TH-cam you’ll probably be familiar with the name Mark Tilbury. Mark is self-made millionaire and social media educator who teaches business, personal finance and investing to millions and especially the next generation. Mark has an incredibly inspiring story. He left school at 16 with no qualifications or money, and his first job was making wooden trash cans, and it paid less than $2 per hour. He took the risk to start his own business and 30 years later he is a 7-figure CEO. In the conversation we talk about all things entrepreneurship including how to start your first physical or online business, what it really means to think like an entrepreneur and the power of passive income. Mark believes anyone can become wealthy by thinking like an investor & entrepreneur and hopefully this episode will show you how you can too.

    So it boils down to:
    1. Understand the value of your time.
    2. Understand the value of your work.
    3. Don’t sell yourself short.
    4. Don’t be afraid of losing everything when you’re young.
    5. If you hate the work, the money won’t make up for it.

    Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. A trader made over $350k in this recession influenced market.

      The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

    At 36:10 they were discussing an idea for someone who loves making burgers. Food and hospo is volatile, BUT he could start a channel dedicated to the best burgers. Record your burgers, make recipes, sell recipe cards, take requests, do a vlog going through different burger joints, and recreate famous burgers at home (digital products). Make a special sauce, a spice mix, smaller margins, can seed this yourself.

    Hola Ali!

      TH-camrs know to try to target the younger people looking for views and the benefits getting the early bring. They are not busy being honest about the way people have to at least make enough and have the right conditions (each person is different in these regards) to even have a chance of making money. Money is an exchange it just does not happen.

    I'm shocked that he doesn't know what a tradesman or tree surgeon is. I completely agree that university is a waste of money for lots of people and the trades get a bad rap for no reason. It earns great money, is not office based and it opens up the opportunity to develop houses at a fraction of the costs. Imagine buying a house in need of work, or one that you could substantially increase the value of by adding improvements. Say you're an electrician, compared to a normal person you can do all the electrics that would cost thousands and also know builders, plasterers and plumbers who will work day rates rather than job rates, your margin for profit is a lot higher. Savy tradesmen and women clean up with 5 years experience by the time graduates get entry level office jobs.

    🤔So many people talk about these "mentors". I have no idea what they are talking about or who and where these people are. Is it like a Mary Poppins thing? Or fairy god mother? Or? How do I find them? Do I have to be special and worthy? Or is it more like you just have to stumble upon a magic lamp?

    Hello, Ali and team! I know I'm not the biggest TH-cam expert (I don't even make content 😅), but as a viewer I'd like to give a tiny constructive criticism that I hope can bring you more views because your content is genuinely amazing!
    I LOVE the rebranding, the elements are good and the color scheme makes it even more enjoyable, but the thumbnails are not up to the game. The side panel on a solid color makes it look like a video made on Power Point by a middle school kid 😢 and it's really easy to miss while scrolling on my feed. I would recommend doing something like this:
    1. Avoid using the single-color block on the side. Instead, leave the natural background of your studio, just slightly blurred.
    2. Leverage your own image to get views, use a focused and slightly bigger than the background pic of you and your guest(s) to make you both stand out more.
    3. Your titles and the brand elements are amazing, but they get lost on the block of color. I'd put the title as just text or the text highlighted, and then emphasize the best parts with the brand elements.
    I don't know if I could really explain what I meant because it's more on the graphic side, English is not my first language, and as I said I'm not a TH-cam expert 😅 but I feel like the pod would get way many more views if the thumbnails get an upgrade.

      I agree about the new thumbnails. I've noticed the channel views have dipped since these started being used, which is a shame. I feel like the old thumbnails looked more personal and more inviting

    Can you find out what instant coffee Mark likes.. Nothing wrong with instant coffee! People who make fancy coffee either have too much time on their hands or obviously don’t have children 😂

    I appreciated Mark's down-to-earth attitude. I went to Uni for 3 months because I cared too much about what others thought of me. I loved earning my own money and if I'd had a mentor like Mark, I think I'd have had my own business instead. Thank you for this valuable video.

    Bruh. Passive income from Pakistan are not the same as from anywhere in the world. do some research. We can't even create a Paypal or strip account from here, which most platforms ask when we want to sell a digital product.

    • @Lady_Cassandra
      @Lady_Cassandra ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's rather much to expect a British person to research your country's passive income opportunities and financial world. He'd be starting from where you could and you'd know more about it than him. Perhaps do your own research.

    • @beingcurious8841
      @beingcurious8841 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Lady_Cassandra I thought he was born in Karachi, Pakistan. I might have misheard him. or his parents might be from Pakistan.
      I didn't ask him to do the research, I just corrected the mis statement that he made about Pakistan. Anyways, I did research about generating passive incomes from Pakistan and I am doing it, but it's not the same as he mentioned in the video. finding ways to generate passive income from Pakistan is way harder. Many websites dont allow us to make an account on them, so we have to find a way around.
