It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. The beach is beautiful. I had my very first search this morning. I didn't find enough for taco money, but I did find enough for a small milk for my coffee. 😄
@ 3 minute mark about detectorists digging junk and returning back to sand. Reminded me of my only experience with that in the 3 years in hobby. Several holes dug by 2 persons on same beach I was on and bottle caps, pull tabs and metal pieces just laying around the holes they dug. They were just looking for coins and jewelry, if not, then back to sand. 😢Some holes a foot deep and not covered. Never saw them again.
Leaving trash behind makes it harder for the next guy to find someone good and also when you come back and it'd hone you know it's been cleaned out, so time to move elsewhere 😂😂😂 Just kidding lol

Hi Austin, from Washington state when I go to my local beach, you should see the crap the junk the sharp objects in the kids lot or the sand that people are too lazy to take and throw away themselves. It really upsets me sometimes.
Found two fossils in SE NJ beach while detecting recently refilled beach..one was a 23 million year old dolphin fin bone..found exact match on website. Other not ID yet.

Had my first go at locating at a Florida beach a little while back with a Xterra pro. Question, are wonky tones where the numbers jump around worth digging? Enjoy watching your videos
I have the X-Terrra Pro and given that it is only single frequency, you do get a lot of jumpy signals. Saying that, at the beach I scoop up most signals because it's so easy compared to digging up dirt, etc.
Xterra Pro has jumpy numbers no matter what, and dig it all unless definitely iron. Coins usually sound pretty good however. I really like my Xterra pro and I find some nice items with it. The more you use it, the better your hunts will be.
Weather is miserable where I am, light snow but it's wet almost like rain, but it melts as soon as it hits the ground, I'm trying to decide if I want to go out after this video is over or not, may be one of my last chances to get out, I could go to a school or a path near the school, or a path near the hospital, those are the only close places to where I am right now

To solve the mystery of beach-raking machines, plant a cheap chain and ring, let the thing pass over and check if they're still there
Found my 1st gold ring, cartier, I was walking across the street from a collection shop. No metal detector, just walking

unless your area is absolutely full of trash dig it and find out! If I'm in a spot where targets are a minute apart or more I dig it all.
