@boppityboopy114 the reason I drop Skenes is he is terribly inefficient with pitches. If he doesn't fix that, he will be another Snell, which isn't bad because snell is good. He's a High k guy but struggles to finish the 5th a lot. As far as his rookie year, he was great for the pirates but I think Merril did more for the pads overall. The pirates (i don't have the numbers) ended up losing many of his starts because he handed the ball over early and the pen blew it. Had he been able to pitch consistently into the 7th, then yeah, for me, hands down. Either way the top three should be really good for several years.
