    All my complaints of Pete's lack luster season,. his lack of hitting with runners on (though 88 RBIs is nothing to sneeze at), missing the big moments of clutch.... all is forgiven with the greatest clutch hit of his career... hands down.

    To really appreciate what happened last night the Mets were dead offensively going into the 9th down 0-2 and only 2 hits, they not only tied the game with one out but went up by 2, then the double play to end the game ! Stunned Brewers fans exited quickly while stunned but ecstatic Mets fans wildly celebrated. Great night !

    A couple of things after watching this inning like a fucking maniac a thousand times. 1. The way Marte ducks under the throw home when Winker scores. 16:56. 2. The way Mendoza leads Winker into the dugout after Winker's flex. 17:11. 3. Seeing Gibbons - some forget he played with the boys in 86 for a stretch 16:05. I don't know - just crazy shit this game. Really crazy.

    this over used technology crap has to go. No doubt the freak out with that crap as the pitcher was trying to get started messed him up. So its supposed to deter cheating. Who cares, cheating is an art and will always be part of sports. The great Oakland Raider teams of the 1970's motto was, "if you're not cheating you're not trying". lol.

      these announcers are the radio announcers for the mets and are icons. The announcers during the game were ESPN hires for the national game. So the announcers here are also doing this for an audience who is not watching the game, so its an entirely different style

      thank god they weren’t because the ESPN announcers were beyond biased. granted we didn’t do anything for about 18 innings but the amount of knob gobbling from those two was egregious.

    • @PlasticPellets
      @PlasticPellets ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@joeschnorr3440 incorrect....the broadcast that I watched, the announcer did not say that the Mets got a break on the Lindor check swing....that was clearly a check swing and the announcers on the game broadcast in New York gave credit to the umpire for making a good call
