I did this to a pair of carhartt overalls because I didn’t want waxy pants on my skin and it was the best piece of clothing I ever made, so useful and they last forever

*Some content creation tips if you'll have them:*
*Lighting:* Light is your best friend but you have to be mindful of not having any direct light sources in frame or even the best of cameras will be blown out and blurry. But also know that you will get much better performance out of any camera, but especially a cheaper one, by getting more _ambient_ light in the scene. This is why videos outside during a sunny day look so much better, the sun isn't somehow magically different light, there is just way more of it than most artificial/ indoor lighting scenarios. You would likely be surprised how bright a studio is to get it to look "natural" on camera. But again, mitigate direct shots in frame whenever possible. All that to say if you can get more lights into the space you are recording in you may not need to get a super fancy. (and expensive camera)
*Audio:* Sound is equally important as sight in this medium. If you have an old smart phone lying around you can get a $12-$15 _lapel_ microphone that plugs into it and clips on your shirt somewhere near your head. You then just use an audio recording app (most phones have them pre-installed) record your voice separately and patch them together in editing. If you are unsure how most, even free, video editors now will let you add in external audio. For lining it up, you simply still record audio on both the camera and new mic, then in the start of a clip you would clap on screen (as you do with the wave for ending out stuff) and line the sound up with the clap from the camera (both visually and audibly) and lay-in the new audio. Using a lapel mic means that no matter how far you are from the camera or what direction you are facing you always sound the same, and are at the same level. This is also good for redundancy, if something happens with one audio source you sill have the second, even if it doesn't sound as good, so the whole shot isn't gone. If you don't have a spare phone you can get a reasonable one that has a built-in recorder for $30-$40
*Camera:* This is the tricky bit as there is a lot of crap on the market.. It's hard to tell what phone you are using exactly but you could upgrade to something like a used Samsung S7 for under a hundred, and as long as you have it set up correctly you would get much better video. The s7 is also water proof which would be good for bush shooting. If you are trying to find a reasonably priced easy to use camera I highly recommend the newer Sony Cyber-shots. I have no idea what your potential budget would be, naturally, but in my opinion the, say for example Cyber-Shot HX80, a camera you can find used for $200. Is comparable to $1000+ cameras from just a few years ago. And would be night and day better from even the S7. But the key thing to keep in mind is setup. No mater what camera you use if it's not configured properly you wont get the most out of it. So no matter what you end up using try to find some videos or articles about that specific device and getting the best quality you can from it. Naturally for TH-cam right now if at all possible you want to be shooting at 4k 60Hz(fps) But that is rather expensive and just looking for 4k can net you 1080p cheepos that use software to make the file "4k" but it just looks blurry and is a waste of money. IMO beware of any 4k cameras on the market right now being sold new for less than $600. If you don't like Sony or cant find any in your area Cannon and Nikon both make reasonable and easy to use cameras in the $150-$200 range (used) that would be more than serviceable. I've just gotten the chance to play with a lot of cameras and like the Sony's best overall.
Other than that you seem to be getting along fine, love the videos and the helpful tips! If you have any questions let me know, I did this kind of thing as a living for years and find still it interesting now. Also please don't take any of this the wrong way, by no means is this a complaint, just me with my cinematographer hat on trying to give you the best information currently available so you can get the best out of your videos!

I seen one video where the guy used crystalline wax, pure tung oil, and tung finishing oil with drying agents.
How come outdoor work pants never have reinforced seats like the knees and pockets?

How are they working out ao far? Im curious how these do in the hotter months? Also do they start to stink over time since you can't machine wash them?
I want to make a pair or two but am concerned about them getting smelly as I would wesr them in and out of my customers homes.

you never wash them, they don't absorb stuff so they don't really ever get smelly or full of bacteria...
just move to a new pair once they're toast
