Tip on the SSD bug... 1) Put SD card in slot 2) Turn on camera 3) Plug in USB-C It is really a massive oversight by BMD, but if you plug in the USB-C cable after you turn the camera on, it will work pretty much very time. This is a huge QA blunder in my opinion since the Samsung T5's have this problem even though they are in the product photos from BMD and on the recommended list. OOPS as they say...
@@johnlemon8267 not sure about every model, but if the model you do have isn't connecting right, do the steps I provided and it should work without much of a problem.
Just shot my third event with the pocket 4K last night. Really freaking love this camera. Freaking hate the battery life. Think I went through 9 batteries 🔋 haha but I do keep the camera on the whole time. I’m patiently waiting for the Tilta cage to ship also!
Actually...with the 0.64 XL speed booster...you'd be getting a wider FoV than Super-35. That's only a (1.9x0.64=) 1.2x crop of full frame at that point.
Thank you so much for your excellent reviews. I use also the Ursa 4.6 because i buy it before the Pro was announced.. Think about to buy the Pocket Cinema Camera because People on the street may think its only a DSLR. But the waiting time for this new Camera is again very annoying so i decide to use my 4.6 instead.
@@myvideoversion Ok. I heard that it has a tendency to turn off 📴 on 30% of battery 🔋 life. I think this is for knock off products, and with original Canon it's not the issu.
@@NowyKurs with Canon brand batteries I've had it turn off at 10% before but haven't seen it before that. I typically switch batteries when it gets below 20% to avoid losing shots
I try to finish watching these videos but I never could. All I care about is the image comparison and you guys talk about everything but. O don't need a visual manual bro.
@Tyler Kearns I'm still keeping my Ursa 4K for at least another year. It has a few features that I still like as well as client paying more for a "big camera".

Does this happen with every model? What about the wise storage?

Hey mate great video. Have you got the next reviews? I can’t seem to find them.
Considering getting an UM4k to go along with my pocket 4k
I've done one other so far which is the low light test. th-cam.com/video/4LSwu_-Q_Vw/w-d-xo.html
Great comparison. Thank you!
im receiving my pocket 4k this tuesday, ordered it a month ago!
great review so tell me something the blackmagic production 4k and ursa mini pro 4k are the image quality or resolution the same
Great insight. Thank you!
Bro I would love to work in the shadows and would definitely go for BMPCC 4k.
Hey man, love your vids. What is that baseplate you have on the bmpcc? Does it have a built-in adapter lock?
That is the Kessler slider plate. It doesn't have a built in adapter lock
Is there any place you can buy the P4K and not have to just guess when it might arrive?
Look on black magic site of approved resellers and call them. They will be able to answer that question the best. That is how I got mine
what would you say today, in 2020 about Pocket 4K vs Ursa Mini 4K ?
I'd go with pocket. Personally
Ursa mini 4k or bmpcc 4k?
Any issues with battery 🔋?
It doesn't last very long and with off brand the indication % isn't very accurate
