    This is exactly what I have been searching for! Do you guys have and tips and tricks on strength and explosive training? I’m trying to get higher and faster in my jumps to try to get a double.

    The only thing I'd critique from the video is maybe a description of what each off ice exercise is supposed to help on ice for those of us who aren't sure why some of the bouncy movements translate or the side movements done.
    Also Mitch your hair is freaking wild today! Haha.

      Specifically the bounce backs or the side kicks, and skipping jumps with extension I'm not sure about.

    I appreciate all your help. I always try to implement your exercises in my practice. Question. How long would you say an adult skater should practice off ice? Adult mom. 😉

      As an adult skater I find I could only get to the ice 2-3 times a week max and 1-2 times a week off ice. More off ice if I couldn't get to the ice. The rest was about staying fit enough to do it, so strength training and cardio and flexibility and balance practice, general fitness stuff. You can do balance practice every day though. Spin practice I can't do as often without getting tight muscles for some reason. And I'm recovering from an injury I think from over doing them or jumps maybe.

      @jrg305 Thank you. I am.sory you got hurt. I hope you get better soon. I usually go with my daughter to the rink 3 to 4 times a week. They work more than me. I sit a few times. I feel I need more strength and balance for sure. I will be doing more off ice. I feel I need to be better for my jumps

      I would try for 1-2 off ice a week. You don’t need anymore than that ❤️❤️❤️

    I tilt mid air during rotation. How can i fix this?

      Try going back to half rotations. When those are really strong add single rotation. Once the single’s are really strong then add more rotation 👍💕
