- Located in the San Fernando Valley community of Granada Hills the Balboa Highlands Tract by Joseph Eichler was once a forgotten development. We're all very Familiar with the Eichler tracts in Orange County alongside the tracts up in Northern California however not many people knew about the Granada Hills tract. The homes of Balboa Highlands exhibit four models with three different roofline types - flat, A-frame, or slant with a few one-off models. Jayson and Joy turned a once neglected Eichler into possibly one of the best examples in the tract. They've poured love, sweat and tears into making the home to what it is today, a fine example that Joseph Eichler would be proud of.

As a fellow car guy (Shelby and Porsche, specifically), I am inspired by this as my wife and I restore a 1966 A. Quincy Jones house here in Las Vegas. We are also using our own hands, and not for signing checks! LOL... Great video. Congratulations on your beautiful home.

The owner has excellent taste. This renovation is even tastier inside than many showed. More brightly modern. He even has a Mini and a Porsche and many things done with his hands! Superb

I watched the video but didn't notice the house number until the middle, and freaked. His address is 12662. My birthdate is 12.6.62 So cool. These Eichler Homes are timeless as they were designed for the most harmonious way of life with the natural environment, rather than shutting out the natural environment with small windows and masses of daytime curtains and blinds.
