Bought your course a year back and finally got the confidence to post a mix recently and it’s got close to 4000 views and 300 likes, which is insane to me since I have no followers. Thanks for being a great teacher and believing in me when I didn’t even Believe in myself ❤
Looping is something I've never gotten the hang of, but I think after watching this... I might be able to nail it. And if I do, that opens up a lot more possibilities. Thank you!
Pro tip. While preparing your sets, once you set that initial loop you can beat jump in rekordbox 8 bars or 16 bars and audition different loops that sound interesting to you. Save them as hot cues, use the best one during your set. Cheers. Sometimes I even skip 4 bars at a time to find the best loops in a track.
What's your options on doing open format on USB stick it can be difficult to quick mix on stick. Have a look at this to know what i'm talking about. 👇 Are Hip-Hop DJs Less Effective On Sticks? (Feat. DJ Mike Nasty) road podcast.
You know when they add that extra beat with the clap right before the drop? Which leads to the phrases getting messed up even if you are looping in the incoming track? Any tips to deal with that?

I have a little wish: Please put the camera focus a little sharper on the text of the buttons on the controller. Thanks in advance!

Ps would you mind sharing the name of the track on A deck?? its fab!
I think it’s Hera by Space Motion
Many thanks!
Watch out for the dreaded reloop if you accidentally press loop exit again later in the track. Particularly painful if using a 4 channel controller .

Why do loops go out of sync when they play for while
Make sure quantise is on

You could always loop 1 bar (4 beats), this means it still lines up - as they often only add 4 beats when they do that.
