FYI: The Bravo is not based off the Elite, it’s a production version of the Marfione custom Socom Bravo. Also the Socom Delta (a knife nobody seems to have heard of) is closer in design to the Bravo being tip up and a frame lock. The only thing the Bravo and Elite have in common is the basic shape ✌🏻
It’s surprising how few people seem to know that and they always compare the price of this bravo to the price of the elite. They should compare bravo to bravo, then the cost of this one would seem a little more impressive.
Robert Schmidt yeah mate, I haven’t handled the “Rike” bravo but by the sounds of how nice it is it’s a bargain for just over 300 bones. People have to stop comparing it to the Elite, just Microtech newbs I guess
My blade will absolutely not shake out and there is zero blade play, but it is still drop shutty. Maybe your pivot loosened? I did have to loctite mine. The detent is a little weak and I can fail the opening though. The fit and finish is perfect. It is thick behind the edge, but slices pretty well. And the clip does eventually loosen up and break in after awhile. And for $325 straight from Microtech with these materials, I am impressed with the job that Rike did with this one.

I recently purchased a Socom Bravo ( production date 11/2022 on the blade). I Agree with you 100% on the stiff pocket clip. I felt like it was going to rip out my jean’s pocket seam when I pulled it out. I modified the underside of the clip with a Dremel Tool to reduce the clip’s tension, which corrected the problem. My detent is much stiffer than the one you received. Try as I might, I can’t shake the blade loose from the closed position with a hand flick. And the blade deploys with authority. Either Microtech has improved the detent stiffness on recent production Bravos, or I was lucky to get one with an unusually stiff detent. I have noted that other reviewers have complained about the loose detent.

I have had a Microtech/Rike Anax for around 3 months. I liked the first one so much (non serrated blue pivot ring), I bought the serrated model with bronze pivot ring. Fit, finish and overall quality of the Anax is outstanding. So when I had the opportunity to get the Socom Bravo, with fully serrated tanto blade I didn't hesitate for a second. Same fit, finish and quality as the Anax.
It’s not a slicey, lite, small, maneuverable cutting tool - it’s perfect for what it’s designed for.

Looks like a good solid knive. Don't mind a thick edge on a knife due to my type of usage, but this one is not up my alley a little too Tacticool for my taste. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
The clip on the Socom Bravo is way better than other Marfione/Microtech milled clips lol
I was a little worried about this knife after your review. I received mine today & it's as tight as a drum with drop shut action. I wonder if the model you received had some quality control issues. Mine had a nice detent w/no blade play, & wouldn't shake out. Blade play is a pet peeve of mine, & even the slightest wiggle drives me crazy. I know every knife isn't for everybody, but this one is definitely for me.

Only thing I don’t like is pocket clip, too thick and bulky creates a big bulge when handling the knife, hopefully someone can make a thinner aftermarket clip.
The SOCOM series has always made me snort derisively. This causes me to make a mouth noise as well.
