    Watching your videos always warm my heart. I am a Nebraska girl but lived in Florida for a year and a half when I first got married (13 years ago the 22nd of Dec) to my Navy Veteran husband. We moved then to Virginia, and then back to Nebraska when he separated. Our hearts still long for Florida, however. Those early, lean days of marriage and the beautiful weather and the ocean. We will retire there for sure, if we don't move back before then. I love watching your videos because I am OCD and the cleaning up of lawns is satisfying, but seeing glimpses of Florida always makes me smile. Sorry for the long comment, but thank you!

One thing that stands out to me is how honest you are about what jobs you take and don't take. This is my first time here and I was thinking along your lines. I thought blowing stuff all over the neighbor's lawn very rude and not what most TH-cam lawnmowers do. I also thought the trimming along the house was uneven and looked messy. Right now I vote you one of my top three companies not to watch often, following Mr. "This Wasn't My Best Work Today" and Mr. "It Would Look Better With Another Pass But It's What They Get Today". You asked if we were reading your notes on the screen - We will already have read them by the time we notice that they are on the screen, it is an automatic reflex for people trained from infancy to read signs, like muscle memory.
    You spoke briefly about square cuts being the only way - NO! If you want to make cuts of any manner, just float up a drone or position your camera for a much wider view shot, Then you can cut however you wish (not everything has to be a direct close view!)

    To those complaining about bagging a good rule of thumb to go by is after you make a pass if the grass is still green then you are fine as the only thing being cut os just grass blades. Grass blades are what is green on a lawn and they are mostly water. They break down rapidly and provide nutrients to the lawn. Now if its brown after the pass then your cutting past the blades to the stems and stalks and that will not decompose easily. You will have thatch issues later so you should consider bagging.

    Wow?! You really went above and beyond to get the job done??!!! The yard looks amazing!! I loved loved loved the edging you did throughout especially along the sidewalk to get those crisp deep edges!! It was very nicely done and was so much fun to watch you tear up those big patches of grass growing out from the sidewalk??!! I also like how you took the time to edge around the air conditioner to remove those nasty bushes growing up into it! You didn’t just weed wack it you went the extra mile to dig up that grass around the edging to ensure it looked nice. It’s the little details that make the difference. Excellent job, Sir!! Excellent job!! Thank you for sharing your video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. God bless you and your family, Sir .... in JESUS Name! 👍❤️👏☺️

  • @Hobo960
    @Hobo960 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is more of a suggestion than a "this is how you should have done it" but whenever I would get a overgrown edge like that I found it help to do a quick pass with the weed eater to thin it out and push it back a bit then go through with the edger, seemed helpful to me help the process stay quick and clean. Although it's probably not that big of a difference just always thought it helped.
    Looks great though!!
