    What l can’t understand is why the neighbours on either side didn’t get in and mow together the lawn so it didn’t get to this length! Their lawns look relatively well maintained. Sad that neighbours don’t look out for each other anymore. Great job!! You are both earth angels!

    Outstanding work. Very eco friendly to put the trimmings back on the lawn and mulch them instead of putting them in a plastic bag to be thrown in the dump. Wish more lawncare people would do that - after all it's only grass and dirt. Why throw it away in a plastic bag? I also love the fact you don't spend time telling us about the yard. You simply go about your work. Thank you. We can figure out what you're doing - no explanation required. Great job.

    • @realMDLawnCare
      @realMDLawnCare 3 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      Thank you Thank you Thank you, finally someone that understands, people tell me all the time “why don’t you bag up the grass clippings?” but i don’t see the pros of doing it unless the customer requests it. I mean it’s it’s own fertilizer! Thats how i see it also man, no need to explain anything, just see us work and you’ll get what we’re doing and why we’re doing it, it’s not rocket science!

    • @melodyhalliday3762
      @melodyhalliday3762 3 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      A lot of times there is simply too much cut grass to leave lying on top of the lawn. It will turn brown and just sit there, killing the grass below it. When we collect the clippings, we dispose them at a local topsoil companies yard, for free. They compost it and turn it into topsoil. That is a very eco-friendly system. No plastic involved as we use vacuum trucks. And no dead grass left on the customers lawn.

    On your initial edge cut, I don't know why almost everyone uses a weed whacker cutter. I would use a gasoline lawn edger and drop the blade the depth I need and immediately cut the majority of the grass away. Much faster and straighter edges. I've even used a small lawn mower and made a pass or two to eliminate the high grass near the edges. It makes the job a lot easier.

      @@christophermarshall6593 Much easier to Mow, Edge then Blow. People trying to edge 10 feet grass is nuts.

      Edge first then blow mess into grass mow on pick up (in this case might pay to mow on discharge first). Once pick up mow done blow to tidy.

      That's the way I do it. Mow 1st then trim. Trimming last to get the finer details

    looks good after such a tall cut, surprised it took so much mulch. .. can you say which strimmer line you use, it seems much more durable than the 3mm round that I use at home, thanks.

    Really overgrown yard. I've mowed such yards after a long winter rain, and it is hard work. Amazing job on much needed edging, though I wonder how efficient the power transfer is from motor down the shaft to the spinning blade. I guess there isn't a better design for edging. Well done here. Very nice.

    At the very end the guy was blowing the grass back in the grass and the other guy was cutting the grass more grass was blowing back on the driveway I laughed when he looked at the drive away with his hip like man I just got done blowing the grass back on the grass carpet instead you blow more on the drive away I busted out laughing sorry couldn’t help myself 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

    That is kind of a strange-looking house it only has one window on the front. The yard looks super good. If they could get someone to wash the roof and powerwash the driveway and sidewalk that place would look great.

    Here is a question ... Why not do the whipper snipper before doing the edging? It would be easier, no? That is what I do Excellent job as always.

    Should always give straight lines regardless if it’s a rescue or a customer. The work you put out on TH-cam reflects you and the company.

    • @realMDLawnCare
      @realMDLawnCare 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      its nearly impossible to give perfectly straight lines when you cant even see the edge sir

    • @brianduble5208
      @brianduble5208 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What I was trying to say is you should put your best work out there regardless if rescue or customer, and if that is your best because you can see then so be it sir

    • @realMDLawnCare
      @realMDLawnCare 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      why wouldn’t we give our best work in everything we do? Of course this was the best we could do, if you don’t see it sorry, but everyone else does

    • @brianduble5208
      @brianduble5208 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      By your comment in the video makes it seem like you guys didn’t care if there was good lines at all just because of it being a rescue job. Future reference don’t say dumb things like that in the video and it cuts down on the criticism

    • @realMDLawnCare
      @realMDLawnCare 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i put that comment so that people like you wont come in the comments criticizing. Go check out some of my other videos if you want to see “straight” lines, let me know what you think about those

    Just wondering why you wouldn’t do a quick run down the edge with the mower first? Would clean it up and also have less crap to deal with. But good job.

    You guys did a great job! Thank you for posting the video. I found it really satisfying to watch the weed eating at the driveway and sidewalks because they were so covered in growth through the cracks. Question for you. Do you guys ever spray grass killer weed killer in those cracks after you chop the weeds out? Because I would assume the weeds are just gonna grow back in a few weeks?

    • @realMDLawnCare
      @realMDLawnCare 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! Yes we do spay weed killer all where the weeds were

    • @donnaleveron6511

      That stuff is toxic, a solution of salt and white vinegar will kill them and is better for you and the environment, not to mention cheaper.
