    Hi! CiCi Li thanks for the video. Could u share the size of your bigger colander? I get great results when I use lesser quantity of beans but everytime I increse the quantity, the quality gets compromised. I think my judgement is not right and I end-up over-crowding the beans. How do u decide how much soaked beans to put in a colander?

  • @la_feliz
    @la_feliz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for this. You mentioned that after putting the beans in the colander, you need to water it 2 to 3 times for a day. Does this mean, you need to do the "2 cloths on top" after watering for a day?

    Thank you for the video.
    Quick question, how do you get your bean sprout to grow really tall?
    I used the paper towel and colander with plate method.
    Mine grew curly and short.
    Am I missing something?
    Any tips?

    • @CiCiLi
      @CiCiLi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      GlamChic Inspirations, thank you for the question. Perhaps, you need a few more days. Mine was still curly during the second day. Because my room temperature was set at 73 degrees. It was nice and warm, so the sprouts grew really fast. Any time between 3 to 7 days are in the normal range.

    Hi I cant wait to try this. What is a good recipe for these?

    • @CiCiLi
      @CiCiLi  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can stir fry it with some cooking oil, garlic, bean sprouts, and some salt. You only need to cook it for about 1 to 2 minutes. It's very tasty! ☺️👍

    This was helpful info as I’ve been growing them in a jar and putting it in a dark cupboard, but didn’t know that putting a plate over them would help get them “chubby”. I’m going to try the colander method next time. The sound on your video cut out during the “harvesting” and rinsing portion so I don’t know if there were instructions I missed. I was wondering how you get all the little green casings separated out?

    • @CiCiLi
      @CiCiLi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Barb, thank you for the question. When you rinse the bean sprouts with water, most of the green little skin will flow to the top, and you could discard them that way. And yes, I've noticed the soundtrack of the video has a little problem. Please visit my Facebook page for the same video with a perfect sound fb.watch/9DhQZnfFpy/
