    This is great- I can't always get sprouts in Spain. My good friend got me mung beans- but she left out one vital instruction - put them in the dark!!!!

    Great video. I agree mong beans are the easiest way to start. I am using this video to get my elder dad sprouting. Do a video about what can go wrong, how to deal with that. Those meals look delicious.

    Thanks for your sharing of this video which is informative and helpful in understanding the benefits of eating beans sprout. Last night I soaked some mung beans to cook mung beans soup the next day. I was surprised that the beans had sprouted. I then chanced upon your channel and decided to let it sprout for another one or two days, before I cook it. I wonder do you have the recipe for stir frying the bean sprouts. Hope I am not asking too much.

    Love the information you shared.
    Bc mung beans have become v expensive in the Philippines, it looks easier to just buy. Less effort.

      Please try sourcing them via one of the Indian grocers. I found them to be cheaper there. My experience is in Olongapo or Manila.

    Can you eat the husks? If not , what is the easiest way to seperate them and at the same time conserve water?

    • @HappyBellyfish
      @HappyBellyfish  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      husks can be eaten . As the sprouts grow the husks begin to seperate. So when you leave the sprouts in water for a few minutes, and rub them gently, the husks will float on the top and can be scooped out easily.

    How do you grow them in the garden? Just stick them in the dirt and water? How do you harvest and turn them into beans? (The other way round lol). :)😊

    If you sprout in a clay pot is the pot glazed
    or unglazed?

    • @HappyBellyfish
      @HappyBellyfish  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      an unglazed one does a better job.

    Where do you get the beans? Do you order online? Thank you.

    • @TH-eb5ro

      I usually find mine in an Indian or Asian grocer. I prefer organic since I will be eating them fresh but buy others if not available. The ethnic grocers are cheaper than I have found online or at regular grocers. If you don't see them ask since sometimes products are ordered every other direct shipment.
