    As a Vegan, my family and I greatly rely on various beans and legumes for source of protein. Of these, Tofu and sprouted Mung beans are our favorite staples.
    I, however, would like to caution everyone about likelihood of fungus while the sprouts start developing and growing. I rinse them twice a day. Depending upon the climate, it is easy for fungus to develop. Rinsing doesn't slow down sprouting but it definitely deters fungal growth. And, always check before using straight on sandwiches or adding to the salads.
    Enjoy!

      @goingslowlynowhere 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yeah, I wondered the same. No rinsing, minimal (if any) circulation of air, and that towel staying moist for 3 days seems like a potential disaster waiting to happen.

    This is the best way i found to. I like it. Give these plastic bottle another chance at life. I also use these plastic bottle to help grow the fire in my fireplace, REMOVE THE CAP. throw the bottle on top of the log. Then throw the cap on the log as well. I also use, my used left over cooking oil as a fire starter. Plastic shopping bags on top of the logs! To make the fire grow

In plastic milk jugs Which the milk jug can be burned as well> The plastic i wouldn't use in my grill and pits. But make a great fire starter in my fireplace. What people don't know is? Plastic is oil based! and throwing it away! They could be using it like this. Store it in big plastic bags. You can even burn it. You be surprise as how much plastic, Your throwing away. That you can use for other things, Like fire starters. Store things in ect.
