This Thrawn feels colder and more ruthless, and I love his uniform has signs of wear and tear. The things they've probably done to survive must've only toughened him and his troops up.
Does make me wonder what they do for fuel? Do they have some sort of nuclear reactor? Dilithium crystals? 😄😄 Were they stuck near this planet the entire time. Or is there some reason they are avoiding the other planets, and why did Baylin wonder what they might be fleeing from?
I saw someone describe Thrawn's current look as "wearing some city miles" and that seemed the most true thing about this character. He has been THROUGH it, but is still in control.
Thrawn's Night Troopers remind me of Julius Caesar's Legions after their campaign in Gaul - All Grizzled, Hardened, Cult-like - treating their leader like a God.
Thrawn said "We have his last known whereabouts" so maybe he knows where Ezra is. He also said "During our exile our numbers have dwindled". Maybe when they first arrived Thrawn tried to capture Ezra but lost to many troops, so now he just keeps a watchful eye on him but can't afford to lose the "resources" required to capture him. Especially considering, his main focus is returning to their home galaxy. Ezra didn't seem that concerned about Thrawn neither, so he could realize that he and Thrawn are essentially in a stalemate and thinking that as long as Thrawn has no way to return he might as well just accept his new life in this new galaxy.
Don't disagree with any of that but I've always believed Ezra knew he was going to get to come home, someday. In his recorded farewell to his friends, he said then he couldn't wait to come home. He even tells Zeb he can have the top bunk back...for now. It didn't seem like just wishful thinking to me. He also told Sabine he was counting on her. For that matter, I wonder if when he told Ahsoka as they fled the WBW, "When you get back, come and find me" to which she replied "I will, I promise", did he already know then? That exchange always felt like something more to me. And Ahsoka is going there, though she seems to have less concern for Ezra than I like.
Grandiose, purely grandiose on so many levels... The subtle but nonetheless important turn the story is taking, clearly adds a new depth to both the story itself and the Star Wars lore as a whole. Whether it is the legacy characters or those more recently introduced, they all serve here a greater purpose to make the story evolve in new directions... It clearly all has a fine taste to it, and this through every scene of the tale.

So far they've done a damn good job with Thrawn. The voice, the demeanor, the way he thinks. Completely rational. And his theme is spot on. The stormtroopers have clearly been through hell, a lot of them are dead, and they still chant his name. Those coffins could just be the bodies of their fallen comrades. Thrawn is the type of leader who would seek to earn the loyalty of his troops, rather than just throw his weight around like most imperials, and what better way than by taking care of them whether they're alive or dead. Or they've done some witchy BS with the bodies that we're yet to see. Commander Dante, I mean Enoch, seems interesting. I wonder how much of him is still human. Thrawn did ask the Night Sisters at the end of the episode for help by using their Dark Magic once again also the Night Troopers armor are very heavily battle damage and being held together by what looks like red fabric.

For you Rebels fans out there, Thrawn and Ezra have FINALLY entered the chat. As for this casual noob, they were the ONLY highlights of the episode (apart from Baylan and Shin). This, in my humble opinion, might be my least favorite episode of the season thus far. But, that's more of a me thing than anything. I think Baylen is searching for darth sidious... the beginning...
Is it just me or is everything leading back to the Rise of Palpatine? If Ezra or Ashoka don't destroy Thrown my guess it will be Palpatine. Thrawn has to go before Palpatine comes back right?
i was like 420, noice ;P big love guys PS loved your One Piece Reactions and been enjoying your other reactions as well!~ trying to make sure i comment on each one as i watch them so sorry for the spam lol
Balin and Shin may flip
I think baylan kills shin and or the witches. Shin is jealous of how her master helped looked out for sabine
It's such a shame we lost Ray stevenson he' so good
I’ve read the thrawn trilogy and the Chimera was never depicted as being heavily damaged like this? Can someone explain?
New Story. They arent following the books.
It was damaged by the space whales when those whales took him and his whole ship into hyperspace
It's on the episode of star wars rebels season 4
❤❤❤
I love how Thrawn went to the Night Sisters and ask them to resurrect all of the dead stormtroopers on his ship to become his Night Troopers Army (Zombie Stormtroopers). Thrawn did ask the Night Sisters at the end of the episode for help by using their Dark Magic once again also the Night Troopers armor are very heavily battle damage and being held together by what looks like red fabric.
Are they going to bring back Anakin with dark magic to fight Ahsoka?
Baylan y Shin viendo los episodios de Ashoka...
😅
can you guys watch one piece anime, season 2 wont come out for 2 years after the writers strike ends and the strike isnt ending anytime soon, you guys would love the anime 1000 times more
Tell me that he doesn't sound exactly like animated Ezra
Bodies 😂😂😂😂
For you Rebels fans out there, Thrawn and Ezra have FINALLY entered the chat. As for this casual noob, they were the ONLY highlights of the episode (apart from Baylan and Shin).
This, in my humble opinion, might be my least favorite episode of the season thus far. But, that's more of a me thing than anything.
While it was/is glorious to finally get to see Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger in the flesh, it's almost like there's more questions than answers. I'm sure, with 2 episodes left, we might get those answers.
Still excited for the final 2 episodes.
Maul?
am like 500
17:43. Not crazy. Just realy bad writing
Its all garbage same as all disney stars war except first 2 seasons of the mandalorian.
I'm glad this guy didn't come in with this dumb theory because he can't enjoy the show when he comes assuming stuff just enjoy the show bro
9:20 What kind of a "reaction" is this? You already have the terrible Elon Musk meme/internet reference. Are you this incapable of doing your own genuine reaction?

It was a joke.
Learn to laugh.
