Ahsoka should’ve contacted Luke immediately when 3 new “sith” suddenly show up. And the inquisitor could be Barriss, it’s not Starkiller, wouldn’t work in canon, and Ahsoka and Luke would both be toast, and it’s not Ezra, cause Thrawn is still trapped in the new beyond. Also, Dave said in the rebels recon behind the scenes show, that Ezra and Sabine’s relationship isn’t romantic in any way, so 100% confirmed there’s nothing there.

You think those awards mean anything these days? Hardly anyone watches those elitist snob awards shows these days. BTW, House of The Dragon and The Last of Us will win all of them.
Ezra disappeared with Thrawn 1 BBY, Ahsoka is set somewhere around 9-12 ABY. So it’s been over 10 years since Ezra disappeared. A lot can happen in 10 years.
Sadly, that era of the books aren't canon any longer, not since Disney took over. But FIloni has been seeding things back in, and Thrawn is very much a part of that, to the point where Zahn wrote a NEW Thrawn trilogy to fit him into new canon. It's not quite the same, but it's better than nothing :)
If you look closely at Ezra when he was calling Sabine like a sister he ran his fingers through his hair. That is typically a nervous gesture (ie...he meant more but was embarrassed and didn't say it).
I haven't watched Rebels, but I know who the characters are from the internet, other people, etc. I didn't have trouble following and I actually like what they've set up for these characters with the master-apprentice relationships, search for Ezra and Thrawn, and the rest. Can't wait for more!
I love show. It's a show, I never watched Rebels, or Clone Wars. But I don't watch animated shows ! But I can follow a storyline, and they have explained this in many reactions and many reactors have explained who these people are. So, I'm not lost at all, after all it's all fiction😂😂
Same, never seen Rebels or Clone Wars but I still understood what was going on and know the characters from the internet, reactors, etc. I loved it and can't wait to see more!
I think that the end scene in Rebels with Ahsoka the White, happened before this series. Right after the collapse of the Empire. It was the moment that Ahsoka started training Sabine. And Ahsoka just returned from whatever she was doing during the OT. Just a thought which makes sense for myself.
Clancy Brown as Ryder Like he was in rebels he's the governor they got the same voice actor and everything I was pretty surprised to see that... Also the voice of Savage oppress
He's 4 Wars characters. Savage Oppress, Ryder, the one member on the crew in that Prison Break episode in season 1 of the Mandalorian and the Inquisitor Ahsoka Merced in TOTJ
Guys, remember some time had passed since Ezra and Thrawn went to the outer reaches and when Ahsoka "The White" came to get Sabine to find Ezra. Hera was in the Ghost with her and Kanan's son, Jacen, and he wasn't a toddler then! I think Ahsoka started training Sabine not long after Kanan died and then they parted ways for some reason which is why they both seem a little distant upon meeting again.
Andor: best reviewed, highest audience scores, most watched series out of Star Wars TV, with award nominations based on that originality. I'm sorry the maturity of that show couldn't appease your immaturity for, "I want the simpleton spoon fed, always just a meta story; or I will be unhappy, and bitch about it...and pretend my opinion is everything."
You would have to take into consideration Sabine lost her homeworld just as much as Din djarin, bo katan and so many other mandalorians in the night of a thousand tears, and I think ahsoka wanted to help but couldn't at the time you have to remember, ahsoka still had a Jedi training for patience and choosing when to get involved where's Sabine is mandalorian and we do mandalorians are passionate
Surprised you didn't like Andor. I thought I wasn't going to like because when it comes to Star Wars I enjoy the Jedi/Sith, lightsaber stuff more, but I actually really enjoyed. Great show in my opinion, buy hey, to each their own..
Ahsoka is the epitome of a True Jedi, when she says I am no Jedi, She means she does not agree with the Jedi ways or the Jedi Council. But is the Personification of a true Jedi to the Living Force. Qui Gon Jin!
Loved Rebels so I'm excided for this. Qui-Gon had to wait for an entire fight to finish before receiving treatment and Kenobi would have had to use his entire life Force in order to bring him back.
Oh man I LOVED the down time moments in Andor it felt like a Star Wars novel come to life where we see the in-between moments. It showcased the average life of someone in the Star Wars galaxy and for me that elevates the magical, force side of Star Wars. So when you contrast it with the grounded street level stuff you get to see how magical the Star Wars galaxy actually is in the eyes of an everyday person. It's like the comic book "Marvels" where we see through the eyes of a reporter looking up at the hero's of the Marvel universe, instead of seeing through the eyes of the hero's we're seeing through the eyes of the everyday person and that to me makes the force more powerful and magical. I agree it's not for everyone and show's like Bad Batch even had episodes like the The Outpost in Season 2 which felt very Andor but still remained a more welcoming pace for fans who prefer faster moving shows. I'm one of those people who could watch Star Wars characters walking around a retro futuristic office building talking about the sports of Star Wars and if the writing is great I'd eat that right up. So far I love Ahsoka it feels like a mix of Rebels and Clone Wars with the slowness and grittiness of Rogue One and Andor. The Art Style pulls heavily from Ralph McQuarrie's work, as did rebels so it has a very retro Star Wars look and feel and that's something I adore. The future episodes will speed up no doubt but I hope they go all Andor with Thrawn, give me scenes of him just speaking on a bridge with random people or him just overlooking his art work and speaking about it. The tone of Andor is perfect for a character like Thrawn and that's the same tone I felt when reading Heir to the Empire.
HOLY FREAKING CRAP, THESE TWO EPISODES FELT LIKE A FULL LENGTH THEATRICAL MOVIE! If it wasn’t evident before, these 2 episodes prove that Dave Filoni is the true apprentice and successor of George Lucas. His eye for the details of the same classic samurai films that inspired Lucas is all over this show. What’s really surprising is that these episodes are made in a way that even people who didn’t see Rebels can get into this show without being lost, while hardcore fans like myself who watched it from day one are well and truly rewarded for watching it from beginning to end. I especially love the actresses for Ahsoka, Sabine and Hera! And I love that Clancy Brown got to play the same character he voiced in Rebels. And Ray Stevenson as always was perfect, Rest In Peace Ray, we will never forget you!
Unfortunately the inquisitor isn't Barriss. He's a new character called Marrok who's an ex imperial inquisitor who now works for Morgan Elsbeth. Though if rumours are to be believed, Barriss might still appear though I definitely think it'll be later in series I really hope she shows up
You've come out looking for war with those opening comments on Andor 😂 respect though, sometimes things don't work for us. Glad to see you guys are picking this series up! Definitely agree it's setting the stage and they needed to release both of these at once to work best, do think you get a whole lot more out of it from knowing that backstory from Rebels.
Mannnn i loved Andor. Its crazy how divisive that show is in the community. You either think its the absolute best thing to come with the Star Wars name in a long time or you absolutely hate it. Im of the former, one of my favorites.
As a first-timer to anything Rebels, this was a nice start. I'm enjoying the look of the characters, I like seeing Ahsoka in action, I like the tone of the show and I'm digging the music. The story is going to be an intriguing one, for sure. I'm really interested in seeing how this series, possibly, sets up the Dave Filoni Mandoverse movie. Also, Godspeed, Ray Stevenson. May the Force be with him and his family.
You are the first reactors I’ve watched that thought the map looked like the one from Treasure Planet!!! Thank you!! It bugged the crap out of me that no one I’ve watched has mentioned it!
How very elitist of you. And complete and utter bunk. Andor is ma*turbation without the payoff. It's like 5 seasons of soap opera drama building up a war they solve in 1 afternoon
Well you can understand it and still not finding entertaining tho it's like I'm great at chess but I still find boring because I still prefer to practice sports and playing video games or travel or doing something else if I want a complicated plot etc will just grab a book not watch a series or a movie just saying
Plus a complete series or movie should always have good action while also not lacking in any other aspect so the 2 things should complete eachother not exclude on or the other 😊
That guy Ashoka fought in the second episode is just simply an inquisitor. I don’t who’s out there saying it’s starkiller. But that’s absurd for many reasons. One of them being if that was him Ashoka would of died very very quickly.
Respectfully people are entitled to their opinions. Everyone is not going to like the same things. I usually enjoy watching different reactions just for that reason. You shouldn't receive hate just because you didn't enjoy something. Thank you for your honesty.
Great reaction guys! For those that didn't watch rebels, they're missing out on all of these fan services that are in this series. If you watch Ezra's scene where he mentioned her as a sister.. he scratches his head before saying that line. To me, he's nervous and didn't really know what to say at that moment but "sister" But we all know that both of them are or should be a couple one day.
Barriss couldn't be the Inquisitor. If she were in the Inquisition, Vader would have killed her. Her personality wouldn't allow for such an alliance. She was willing to die for the greater good; I truly don't believe she would join murderers. And why would she hunt for Ahsoka? Howewer We got a name - Marrok. Marrok is a reference to Arthurian legends. An honorable knight with that name was transformed into a wolf/hunter by a witch named Morgan (another reference). I don't believe in such a coincidence. Morgan Elsbeh might have an influence on him or will do something to him or might have already done something to him. It's even possible to replace Elsbeh with Sidious and Sith magic. In this case, Barriss fits into this theory but not only Barriss. My theory is more about potential connection between Marrok and Morgan Elsbeh.
Two things: (1) Others elsewhere figured out that the villain names are all tied to stories of wolves, Dave Filoni's favorite animals. Skoll and Hati (Baylan & Shin's last names) are wolves from Scandinavian tales. Skoll chased the sun and Hati chased the moon. Marrok (the Inquisitor) comes from Sir Marrok, a knight from Arthurian legend. He was enchanted and turned into a wolf by sorceress Morgan Le Fey. Marrok the inquisitor serves Morgan. (2) I suspect the last mural scene is a parallel to the last scene in Rebels. Ahsoka does not have her staff (which she tapped with authority) and others have noted her robe is more of a gray here than white. The color could just be the difference between animation and live action, but that staff would be an important element to leave out. If they are two parallel events, I'd guess that the first (animation) was a new master calling her padawan to her side (possibly for an initial search), and the second is, of course, the actual pursuit of Ezra.
Baylon wants to never have to relive something like Order 66 EVER again. It doesn’t matter to him which “side” wins as long as he will never be a victim again
Not Barriss ... you hear the character grunt when Ahsoka hits during a sequence, and it's definitely a male under that mask. Also, Baylan refered to that Inquisitor as "he" Not sure we're ever getting the definitive closure on Barriss. If they were seeking the death penalty on Ahsoka for the temple bombing, they most certainly did with Barriss - but was it carried out before everything went sideways in RotS? 🤷♀
Ten years in-universe separate the last episode of "Rebels" and the first episode of "Ahsoka." Sabine is around 30 years old, here, and has a lot more history and "milage" on her now than when we last saw her. Presumably, a LOT has happened to her, and between her and Ahsoka, that we didn't see, and don't know about.
Qui-Gon died because he got stabbed through the spine and choose to willingly become one with the force which is how he trained Obi-Wan to do the same. Sabine got stabbed in the oblique.
For someone that didnt watch rebels but have some knowledge of the show i can safely say i wasnt lost at all with what was going on and what the relationship was like between these characters. Its crazy because i find that you guys were more over thinking things which for me i was more just trying to gain more information and context clues from what is happening during the episodes.
Your opinion about Andor is the first time I have disagreed with you, I even agree with you on Mando S3, but to me Andor was the best live action Star Wars I've ever seen. However, it can be an aquired taste.
Remember Rebels took place between episodes 3 and 4 and ahsoka after episode 6 so something must have happened between the time of the original trilogy
I have never watched Rebels....I am watching Ahsoka because I know she was Anakin 's padawan before he became Dark Vador..and she is interresting character. I was even more curious after watching her with the Mandalorian and Luke
YESSS one of the first reactors to mention treasure planet when ahsoka found the map. I saw it and thought straight away wait that looks like the map from treasure planet
There’s a class called dark Jedi. If you read the books they are brought up a lot. Jedi is a force user group. There are many different groups. Ashoka is probably considered dark Jedi.
Ashoka isn’t a dark Jedi. Dark Jedi are Jedi who use the dark side of the force. They aren’t “Sith” in the traditional sense. The don’t follow the rule of two. They don’t follow sith teachings. But they do draw on the dark side. Baylan seems like a dark Jedi. He uses the dark side and craves power. Yet he follows Jedi tradition otherwise. Ashoka is more a gray Jedi (which is controversial, some people claim there’s no such thing). Gray Jedi are jedi in the middle. They seek absolute balance in the force, dark and light. They are the true neutral force users. Which Ashoka participating in the rebellion as a leader near the beginning seems to be more of a neutral good alignment if anything. But that could still put her closer to Gray Jedi than not since true balance would fight against the Empire too.
I don't know what you were expecting with Andor?! Saying it suck is a disrespect. It's one of the best tv series I've watch, not just star wars series but in general. The cinematography was outstanding.
Filoni has been saying for years that Ezra and Sabine's relationship is not romantic. I think was his way of finally putting it to rest. No offense meant to any shippers
I like you guys so imma be nice. Sabine did not get stabbed in the chest. It was off to the side. At best she lost a kidney. Also Qui-Gon was hit in the solar plexus and had his spine severed, soooooo you do the math.
Man, weird when people have a completely different opinion on something, but that's Star Wars for you. All I'll say is that it's refreshing for me to see things take their time, and have everything breath and take their time. Andor and, so far, Asohka seems to be going on a more cinematic path. Hopefully this series hits the mark!
At this point, I prefer the viewability of Star Wars than Marvel's recent content, with a few exceptions. Andor was okay, but I'd watch it more than what Marvel is making nowadays.
Baylan & Shin are the total badass and I really find them interesting. I bet Shin is the daughter of Baylan. One thing I hated was the nerfing of the lightsabers
I've treasure planet watched it on disney+ and i enjoyed it, never saw it before but thanks to Disney+ i seen stuff that i never watched before like black cauldron and Titan A.E
Andor was amazing. So is this so far. I agree with Mando season 3 being mid but have to wonder about your taste anymore tbh [Edit ok forgiven for now lol]
For those that didn't catch it, The Eye of Sion is a nod to Darth Sion, The Lord of Pain a sith from Legends. Wondering how much of that all thatthey will make cannon, neat either way.
Attention spoiler impressions so don't read if you haven't seen Ahsoka ;) I was completely blown away, Filoni is a master (why didn't they let this guy make sequels?) Red opening credits in the style of classic Star Wars. The visuals, especially the sounds, and working with them are brilliant. Just such little things, Sabine opens the map and the screechy clicking sound like from Indiana Jones transitions smoothly into the classic Star Wars watch cut between scenes. Or the opening titles that are vertical, menacing minimalistic music and a cruiser from the new republic and sound like cruisers from the prequels (those who haven't seen episodes 1-3 in the cinema can't know what sounds I mean) It's all fresh so far, but I think this series will be my Top since the very pleasant couple Rogue One and Solo from Disney. Of course, there is the Mandalorian, but even there I don't feel the narrative like after two episodes of the series, which I was slightly afraid that it would not be just fan service and Rebels in a playable form without added value. But the added value is there. And I am pleasantly surprised and pleased. This will still be a cut The whole thing has the touch of the Original Trilogy and the prequels, but it also gives me a terrible sense of the style of the animated Visions - just Kurosawa and that's mega cool. Baylan, padawan including Jedi padawan copik and everything around them plus Nightsister and a route to another galaxy (the old race will be Yuzhan Vong let's bet) Mythology - a planet where apparently whales are born, the whole atmosphere is literally like in fairy tales or vikings Some great fan service - for example, the scene with the probe and the padawan completely breathed Maul and Episode 1. Clancy Brown basically played himself, since this character also appeared in Rebels in his form. Much, much more could be written, but my feelings are damn fine (since Mandalorian season 2 and Andora, I haven't been so happy with SW that I smiled during the entire viewing time) It's such a great serial, now wait a hell of a week... Ps scene with Sabine on a motorcycle and Japanese punk rock from another galaxy absolutely thrilled me. I finally found out that it is a song composed by Ludwig Goranson and sung by a punk rocker in Mandalorian speech especially for the series and it will be released as part of the soundtrack soon. Disadvantages? None yet. These are the SW we like and I'm pleasantly surprised :) If you can think of anything that was so wonderful there and what you didn't like, let's discuss. I've been a SW fan since 1993, so reading the Thrawn trilogy brings back memories and I'm curious about the next parts. And unfortunately I wasn't with Boba Fett or Obi Wan. The feeling is back and it's great :)
Honestly as a fan i say who cares if anyone has any idea of the lore, this show is NOT for casuals its for the fandom and i love that. Cater to those who cared enough to watch the canon for this, too f'in bad for everyone else lmao!
i'm back again.. yup Andor was just ok , pretty boring to be honest , it's mainly human stuff that they're dealing with.. they're not many aliens in the show probably why some people like it, but doesn't feel like Star Wars.. still better than Kenobi series though .. but Ahsoka series is definitely the best show out so far anyway.. only a few minor things I would've changed. And executed a little better.. but that's being super critical. I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to Star Wars and I loved this show.. solid 9 out of 10.. right alongside the Mandalorian they all feel like they're together in the universe. unlike andor, which is understandable because Andor is in a different time on the timeline..
I loved the first two eps literally never thought i was going to se ashoka in live action next to sabineeeeeeeeeeee, ive been fans of the for the longest time but mostly ashoka
After 2 episodes i can safely say that Ray Stevenson was by far the coolest part so far. Also chopper needs more screentime. Sabine was also a great casting and I'm still having trouble accepting Rosario Dawson as ahsoka, her voice is just to different.
i think these two episodes took place and led into the end of Rebels. But I also think that in this huge time frame she's become more and more upset about Anakin it's made her kind of withdrawn and less emotional. Maybe being with Sabine is going to bring back some of her emotions and then we see her in Boba Fett she's really works with stuff out.
Did you realize the guy playing the Governor on Lothal giving the speech was Ryder Azati (Sp?) who was in Rebels and is played in both cases I believe by the guy who also plays Savage Opress.
I don't have all the back story on Rebels and thoroughly enjoyed this show 😎 I'm kind of going in blind but I also feel like they are making the show into it's own story instead of following everything that everyone seems to already know. I think they are mixing it up with some stuff that's canon while creating new details as well and I think it's what makes it a great show and makes you want to watch it...
It's definitely following events of Rebels. Partially it's own story just because a lot has happened in the years since the end of Rebels but you're missing a ton of context
I’ve never seen Rebels but I know of Ahsoka, her relationship to Anakin, and I loved the first two episodes. I did think Andor was good but not tell anyone who will listen to watch it good. Like Zack Snyder’s work - it’s fine…nothing to jump out of your skin over. As for Star killer, play the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game and it’s sequel. You’ll get a feel for who and what Star Killer is.
I don't know why people are commenting craziness lol ... yalls reactions to mando season 3 ... were good ... I get yalls bo katan thing ... but it was time to finish her story ... plus mando ... always had the main hero moment in each episode ... and he didn't want that sword ... he wanted her to have it ... he's all about honor and keeping ones word
i feel like Baylan is what you would call a Dark Jedi: a Jedi who has turned to the dark side but is NOT a Sith. This includes peoples like Ventress and the Inquistors. And now Baylan and Shin too. Also Quinlan Voss and Bariss Offee. Rogue Jedi or Grey Jedi are former Jedi who left the Order but use the light side of the force. This includes Ahsoka or Cere Junda. Rogue Sith are dark users who left the Sith order. This includes Maul. Dark Acolytes are dark side users who work for the Sith but are not official Sith Lords because of the Rule of Two. Savage Opress, Ventress, and the Inquistors are Dark Acolytes. These people CAN be Dark Jedi but don’t have to be. Remeber, Jedi and Sith or only religious orders. Not all light siders are Jedi and not all dark siders are Sith.
First thought I had about this? CAT! I love Sabine's cat! I love that it's voice is obviously a real cat that got recorded. It gives me feels like Omega, because she has an authentic Kiwi accent, and this loth-cat has a real cat voice. Second, Baylan feels like he has the Jedi calm, like he is someone who did come from the Temple system. while Shin feels fierce and wild. I love that Sabine's mural is part of this, and it is solidly the same picture as the animated show, like the whole art style of _Rebels_ is actually Sabine's art style. I feel like Winstead gives me huge Mom vibes in Hera. Maybe Winstead's age helps, 38 is early middle-age, and that face in Hera strikes me as someone who definitely has an adolescent son somewhere in the background (I am still hoping we see Jacen). Aside, Skoll and Hati are Norse names for the pair of wolves who chase the Sun and Moon, trying to eat them. I think Baylan and Shin's names were deliberate, but we need to wait and see if they are indicative. Ahsoka and Sabine's training seems to be an off-screen thing between the end of _Rebels_ and the start of this. I also think Ahsoka has some attachment trauma, after what happened to Anakin. But everything indicates that Sabine is also very strong-willed, so their separation must have been two-sided. I am willing to handwave Sabine's injury as being in the right place, friends got to her quickly and got her to medical treatment quickly, plus this is what, 30-40 years after Qui-Gon?
From what I understand about Starkiller, aka Galen Marek, having looked into him a little aftre he was mentioned in a fic, he is a game character from the game "Star wars: TheForce Unleashed", where he was Darth Vader's apprentice, but I presume he turned Good, or was never fully Dark. I would guess a lot of the game has to do with him getting away from Vader's control. What I do know however is the voice actor who Galen's character model is based on is also the same guy who has done a lot of the voice acting for Darth Maul, through Clone wars, Rebels, and apparently in Solo as well - Sam Witwer. The VA in TPM was someone else.
Other things I am waiting for is Anakin, hoping we get his ghost, but from the trailer, I think we definitely will get a Clone Wars flashback, and Rex, who I damn-well hope will be present-day Rex. Another aside, while looking up what is on Google about Sabine's cat, I saw a mention about Thrawn's actor, Lars Mikkelson, and it led me to somethign I had never looked into, that is he and Mads Mikkelson share a name for good reason, that is they are brothers.
I think Ahsoka is more "Bubbly" in BoBF because we see her hanging around Luke. Maybe she was in a better mood because she was connecting with Anakin's son in a positive way, so her issues were not up front right then.
But adding about Rebels exposure, I will admit, I have not watched Rebels, but I have read enough fanfic to get an outline, and I have an idea of how threatening Thrawn is because I did read the original "Heir to the Empire" novels back in my teens.

Andor was great in terms of writing, dialogue and mature storytelling!! What are you talking about?😂😂😂
I back you
They don’t have any idea what they’re talking about. The dude just hates things to hate them.
I guess Andor will just have to look at its EIGHT Emmy nominations, including Best Drama, for support
Old people run those awards obviously the slowest show ever made would be appealing 😂
Awards don't mean shit lol I love Andor though

Were the Emmy nominations for the most boring show ever?
if it doesn't have light sabers, anthony won't call it star wars 😄
Ezra disappeared with Thrawn 1 BBY, Ahsoka is set somewhere around 9-12 ABY. So it’s been over 10 years since Ezra disappeared. A lot can happen in 10 years.
Andor is the best Star Wars tv show Disney has produced.
It's seriously too good for Star Wars.

With all due respect... Andor is top tier Star Wars.
They had some of the worst reactions for andor
I think that the end scene in Rebels with Ahsoka the White, happened before this series. Right after the collapse of the Empire. It was the moment that Ahsoka started training Sabine. And Ahsoka just returned from whatever she was doing during the OT. Just a thought which makes sense for myself.
Clancy Brown as Ryder Like he was in rebels he's the governor they got the same voice actor and everything I was pretty surprised to see that... Also the voice of Savage oppress
Also mr. Krabs in spongebob,
“money money money”
He's 4 Wars characters. Savage Oppress, Ryder, the one member on the crew in that Prison Break episode in season 1 of the Mandalorian and the Inquisitor Ahsoka Merced in TOTJ
Knew I recognised his distinct voice
Guys, remember some time had passed since Ezra and Thrawn went to the outer reaches and when Ahsoka "The White" came to get Sabine to find Ezra. Hera was in the Ghost with her and Kanan's son, Jacen, and he wasn't a toddler then! I think Ahsoka started training Sabine not long after Kanan died and then they parted ways for some reason which is why they both seem a little distant upon meeting again.

I fully agree with this. All her characteristics are those of a prime jedi knight. Calculating, calm, in control.
Loved Rebels so I'm excided for this. Qui-Gon had to wait for an entire fight to finish before receiving treatment and Kenobi would have had to use his entire life Force in order to bring him back.
"You've been sister zoned" that's never stopped Star Wars before.....
For the record, if that guy had been starkiller, everyone’s dead, plain and simple, it’s a slaughter, not a battle
I have three brothers who can't wait to watch this. They're totally obsessed with anything Star Wars.
Qui Gon was stabbed through the spine guys lmao
“I hated andor”
*disappointed palpatine face*
Unfortunately the inquisitor isn't Barriss. He's a new character called Marrok who's an ex imperial inquisitor who now works for Morgan Elsbeth. Though if rumours are to be believed, Barriss might still appear though I definitely think it'll be later in series
I really hope she shows up
You've come out looking for war with those opening comments on Andor 😂 respect though, sometimes things don't work for us. Glad to see you guys are picking this series up! Definitely agree it's setting the stage and they needed to release both of these at once to work best, do think you get a whole lot more out of it from knowing that backstory from Rebels.
Jesus christ. It's been like 10 years. Stuff happens in 10 years.
I thought the same thing when Sabine was stabbed. I said the Fry line from Futurama "That was close, right between the lungs" lol
Hated Andor? That's crazy. So many great moments in that show are it's reduced to it sucked....
I love how real you guys are. I don’t hate Andor but I love how freely you expressed that at the intro 😂
The Mandalorian Season 3 was really good cant believe some people did not like it so much.
These two episodes were amazing, especially since the premiere was changed to my birthday. When I saw the star map, Treasure Planet came to mind.
Happy Birthday!
"Andor" is for people who understand esoteric knowledge...that's why it was boring for ya people who only for action!
Yeah if it's not action non stop then he thinks things suck. Smh
How very elitist of you. And complete and utter bunk. Andor is ma*turbation without the payoff. It's like 5 seasons of soap opera drama building up a war they solve in 1 afternoon
nah it's just boring for simpletons.
It was great they got Clancy Brown to reprise his role as Ryder Azadi
Respectfully people are entitled to their opinions. Everyone is not going to like the same things. I usually enjoy watching different reactions just for that reason. You shouldn't receive hate just because you didn't enjoy something. Thank you for your honesty.
The myth of the character and Dawson’s performance gives enough reason to tune in.
Loved Andor
Great reaction guys! For those that didn't watch rebels, they're missing out on all of these fan services that are in this series. If you watch Ezra's scene where he mentioned her as a sister.. he scratches his head before saying that line. To me, he's nervous and didn't really know what to say at that moment but "sister" But we all know that both of them are or should be a couple one day.
I will not hear this Andor blasphemy. It was AMAZING.
Barriss couldn't be the Inquisitor.
If she were in the Inquisition, Vader would have killed her.
Her personality wouldn't allow for such an alliance. She was willing to die for the greater good; I truly don't believe she would join murderers.
And why would she hunt for Ahsoka?
Howewer
We got a name - Marrok.
That wasn't Monk. That was Peter Jacobson, he used to play Dr. Taub on House MD.
Baylon wants to never have to relive something like Order 66 EVER again. It doesn’t matter to him which “side” wins as long as he will never be a victim again
Not Barriss ... you hear the character grunt when Ahsoka hits during a sequence, and it's definitely a male under that mask. Also, Baylan refered to that Inquisitor as "he"
Not sure we're ever getting the definitive closure on Barriss.
I know we all have our own opinions but saying andor sucked is insane
Took the words out of my mouth.
Qui-Gon died because he got stabbed through the spine and choose to willingly become one with the force which is how he trained Obi-Wan to do the same. Sabine got stabbed in the oblique.
Andor was a good show. it started slow but gained momentum as the episodes went by.
Good to see that you liked this! I think one show you guys should deffinetly see is the Legend of Vox Machina!
Andor was the best 😊
Respect the honest opinion of Andor. Your wrong, but I respect it. :)
Damn the Andor take was the definition of mid
The disrespect toward Andor!!! You woke up and chose violence, sir!!! 😂
@@andmicbro1 my point is there are many classes of force users. People are stuck on the idea of sith and Jedi only.
I swear that's what I thought when I saw this map orb! It even opens the same way, classics everywhere 😂
I don't know what you were expecting with Andor?! Saying it suck is a disrespect.
It's one of the best tv series I've watch, not just star wars series but in general. The cinematography was outstanding.
I remember your channel when you started reacting to Mando 1, your knowledge of Star Wars has increased a lot during the years.
I love Andor, but I'm into the politics of the Star Wars universe, so I totally understand why some people don't like it so much
Filoni has been saying for years that Ezra and Sabine's relationship is not romantic. I think was his way of finally putting it to rest. No offense meant to any shippers
I agree. Ahsoka is too stoic and serious. I mean, trauma, I get it but in Rebels there was a warmth about her.
You think it’s weird when people have different opinions from you?
At this point, I prefer the viewability of Star Wars than Marvel's recent content, with a few exceptions. Andor was okay, but I'd watch it more than what Marvel is making nowadays.
Baylan & Shin are the total badass and I really find them interesting. I bet Shin is the daughter of Baylan. One thing I hated was the nerfing of the lightsabers
She a jedi in spirit, but not by title.
Ezas and Saben shipper for life.
I agree with Kacee about how underrated treasure planet is lol
I've treasure planet watched it on disney+ and i enjoyed it, never saw it before but thanks to Disney+ i seen stuff that i never watched before like black cauldron and Titan A.E
The Inquisitors name is marrok and they are referred to as he. So definitely not Barriss, and I doubt it will be starkiller.
Attention spoiler impressions so don't read if you haven't seen Ahsoka ;)
I was completely blown away, Filoni is a master (why didn't they let this guy make sequels?)
Red opening credits in the style of classic Star Wars.
The visuals, especially the sounds, and working with them are brilliant. Just such little things, Sabine opens the map and the screechy clicking sound like from Indiana Jones transitions smoothly into the classic Star Wars watch cut between scenes. Or the opening titles that are vertical, menacing minimalistic music and a cruiser from the new republic and sound like cruisers from the prequels (those who haven't seen episodes 1-3 in the cinema can't know what sounds I mean)
It's all fresh so far, but I think this series will be my Top since the very pleasant couple Rogue One and Solo from Disney. Of course, there is the Mandalorian, but even there I don't feel the narrative like after two episodes of the series, which I was slightly afraid that it would not be just fan service and Rebels in a playable form without added value. But the added value is there. And I am pleasantly surprised and pleased. This will still be a cut
The whole thing has the touch of the Original Trilogy and the prequels, but it also gives me a terrible sense of the style of the animated Visions - just Kurosawa and that's mega cool.
Baylan, padawan including Jedi padawan copik and everything around them plus Nightsister and a route to another galaxy (the old race will be Yuzhan Vong let's bet)
Mythology - a planet where apparently whales are born, the whole atmosphere is literally like in fairy tales or vikings
Some great fan service - for example, the scene with the probe and the padawan completely breathed Maul and Episode 1. Clancy Brown basically played himself, since this character also appeared in Rebels in his form.
Much, much more could be written, but my feelings are damn fine (since Mandalorian season 2 and Andora, I haven't been so happy with SW that I smiled during the entire viewing time)
It's such a great serial, now wait a hell of a week...
None yet. These are the SW we like and I'm pleasantly surprised :)
If you can think of anything that was so wonderful there and what you didn't like, let's discuss. I've been a SW fan since 1993, so reading the Thrawn trilogy brings back memories and I'm curious about the next parts. And unfortunately I wasn't with Boba Fett or Obi Wan. The feeling is back and it's great :)
28:17 that is most assuredly NOT Monk (Tony Shaloub). that is Dr. Chris Taub from House (Peter Jacobson).
Honestly as a fan i say who cares if anyone has any idea of the lore, this show is NOT for casuals its for the fandom and i love that. Cater to those who cared enough to watch the canon for this, too f'in bad for everyone else lmao!
thanks for speaking out for all of us casuals, i'm loving the show so far, sorry to disappoint your elitism!
@@therealmbassy it's not elitism its truth, and honestly glad your liking it. Now troll somewhere else these waters got no fish!
i'm back again.. yup Andor was just ok , pretty boring to be honest , it's mainly human stuff that they're dealing with.. they're not many aliens in the show probably why some people like it, but doesn't feel like Star Wars.. still better than Kenobi series though .. but Ahsoka series is definitely the best show out so far anyway.. only a few minor things I would've changed.
He woke up and choose Violence!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wasn’t all that into Andor either but people absolutely loved it. I think Starwars shows are doing relatively well. Only downer was Book of Boba lol
It was perfect. Perrrrrfect!!! Everything, down to the last minute details.
Andor was the bomb
But adding about Rebels exposure, I will admit, I have not watched Rebels, but I have read enough fanfic to get an outline, and I have an idea of how threatening Thrawn is because I did read the original "Heir to the Empire" novels back in my teens.
come oooonnn man Andor was aweeesomeeeeeee
