RZA probably produced the majority of the beats on it. Plus, it was supposed to be released at the time the other clan members' solo albums came out. Fuckin depressed.

To this day, I am very disappointed, even to this day. I had notebooks of lyrics too that were thrown out when my mom moved and I was away in rehab, but yeah man, I'm still making nice beats to this day.

You listen to him on tracks like "A Better Tomorrow", "C.R.E.A.M.", "Cold World" etc. and he was clearly a thinker and a story-teller. If he really went to a bunch of people and none of them could get the data back, then there likely isn't anything anyone could do.

I believe it was damaged, but god damn water doesn't erase data;) You simple remove the platter and insert it into a new drive. This has to be done in an airtight lab, but that's the kind of shit data recovery companies have access to.

How did I not know about this flood and lost album after all these Years? This is so painful to know it will never be heard. RZA should've remade the beats and deck the rhymes, you think they would have been able to somewhat piece it back together.

We lost a GEM, we lost a Return 36, Tical, Liquid Swordz, Ironman, Linx etc., imagine Deck over 95 Rza beats... I can't imagine how dope that album was, just bad luck for Deck all alone on releasing that first album.

Although Deck has made his peace with his loss of his 1st album..... I as Wu Tang fan HURT at the fact of the classic we lost..... I know in my heart that his album. Would've been an instant classic....and we all missed out on it

I always wondered why he didn't drop until 99 instead of 96,or 97 after the Wu Tang Forever album. I thought je had some of the best features on that album. I was waiting for hia album more than the 2nd Meth that was getting promoted after the Clan album.

I recall RZA taking it to the FBI and other engineers and saying they were too damaged to get back. I believe it was in interviews and in his Reddit AMA.

Jason Hunter Well okay, but that's what happened. All the members have talked about this at some point. They're not lying. RZA obviously wanted his beats and hundreds of hours of work. If he really went to a bunch of people and none of them could get the data back, then there likely isn't anything anyone could do.
Maybe the technology wasn't there @ the time to recover the data so they just got rid of them. But now it's possible? Idk just a thought
a bunch of people? If you want data recovery, you go to a data recovery company. I believe it was damaged, but god damn water doesn't erase data;) You simple remove the platter and insert it into a new drive. This has to be done in an airtight lab, but that's the kind of shit data recovery companies have access to.
It's not too late to get uncontrolled substance platinum. Guys go support that body of work. Buy that shit twice if you can.
