@@CGJUGO80 Oh yeah rappers are one to talk when it comes to clothes. jr high just called they said you have to give your style back cause you know you're like an adult now.
This went wild... The amount of different emotions that happened over the interview is astoundingly overwhelming... The RZA is unique and so is Nardwuar.
Owen of the greatest talents of Narwwuar is his complete indifference to being provoked or messed with, he doesn’t rise or react to mischief, completely unfazed and it totally defuses and fucks with people. And then when they realise he’s done his homework and shows genuine interest he’s won them over. Best music journo out there.
Holy crap RZA knows his stuff. Why isn't this clip titled "Nardwuar vs. RZA"? For the most part everyone is just sitting back, unable to answer questions that are obviously open ended and are only hanging around. RZA answers everything with knowledge and authority on the subject. Wow.
because 90 percent of the questions are for him... the rest of them dont really fuck with kung fu flicks like that lol, he didnt even know any of their names, he brought a bunch of stuff for Rza and questions for him
Ghostface pushing to wrap it up near the end is like that mean guy wanting to sabotage a good conversation because he's jealous of his warmer friend being able to easily talk and relate to others on a human level, transcending 'coolness' by showing respect and not judging. RZA's a true leader.
Well I think the interviewer was slightly annoying ghost and the others, plus they had a time limit. They don’t seem familiar with the interviewer acting crazy like that
You do understand that nardwaur is putting on an act right? You're making all these fake psychological calls about Ghost just cause he's tired of a bit.
too bad the rest of the clan don't seem interested. the guy does his reaearch, but they couldn't bother to give a fuck except for RZA who is a real G, probably also the smartest and seems to actually be impressed.
I think think RZA is interesting enough and knowledgeable enough to go for a Questlove length nardwuar interview. Forget the rest of Wu-tang they clearly didn't want to take part in the interview.
Especially, you could tell that he would go on forever just talking about his love for Martial Arts and movies. Where he got the inspiration and what movies it came from, etc.
Rza is 1 of the most knowledgeable rappers alive he carried his homies through this interview and career even if you dont like his style you cant deny that hes genuinely an artist and true pack leader
This is such a great interview. It really pulled RZA out to embrace his full nerd. 💯 Ghost, U-God, Inspektah Deck, Cappadonna and Raekwon didn’t really know where Narduwar was coming from and were buggin’ on his outfit. His questions are better than all the mainstream Hip-Hop interviewers.
RZA is a wealth of knowledge overall. He seems like the type to know something about EVERYTHING. Props to Rza.. just wish the rest of the Clan was on the same page.
GZA wouldve DEFINITELY showed love to nardwuar and I know people remember odb as the crazy wild guy and he definitely was for sure but when you watch his old interviews he was a legitimately deep thinker especially in his younger years around the release of return to 36 chambers he talks about feeling like he talks too much and being insecure and his religious beliefs he would’ve loved nardwuar
RZA really enjoyed this interview. He went through that whole stack in 5 minutes and Nardwuar went into Genius mode as usual. He still chooses his questions so wisely from memory at such great speed and accuracy and pulls out as much as he can in 10 seconds. He knew RZA is in charge so he focused on him and then guided RZA through the bulk of his questions and when everyone grew impatient he squeezed out his last questions and outro. Pure Genius! Bravo. Edit: Looked through the comment section and it's unanimous. I respect RZA much more now but the rest of these guys aren't even close to RZA's level of intellect and it shows here. You can see that RZA has worked the hardest to get where they were/are today.

It's possible they just aren't surprised, but I do think they're also just being very ambivalent. To the viewer it may seem astounding, but maybe not to them.
I think RZA is more into the stuff he is showing which is part of why RZA is explaining it all. Part of it also stems from it being very difficult to interview that many guys at once in this crowded room and RZA is the defacto leader so he runs the interview. Even RZA took a long time to be surprised compared to most.

I wish Nardwuar didn’t catch these guys after a show, this interview could’ve been an hour long. They were probably tired and had to hit the next city that night. Either way big ups to RZA for really giving great energy for this interview

Since discovering Nardwuar, the respect I have for rappers is directly proportional to how they treat this legend.
I agree 👍

there were plenty of dudes who treated nard bad from the rock world too

Holy crap RZA knows his stuff. Why isn't this clip titled "Nardwuar vs. RZA"? For the most part everyone is just sitting back, unable to answer questions that are obviously open ended and are only hanging around. RZA answers everything with knowledge and authority on the subject. Wow.
because 90 percent of the questions are for him... the rest of them dont really fuck with kung fu flicks like that lol, he didnt even know any of their names, he brought a bunch of stuff for Rza and questions for him

Well I think the interviewer was slightly annoying ghost and the others, plus they had a time limit. They don’t seem familiar with the interviewer acting crazy like that

I think RZA is more into the stuff he is showing which is part of why RZA is explaining it all. Part of it also stems from it being very difficult to interview that many guys at once in this crowded room and RZA is the defacto leader so he runs the interview. Even RZA took a long time to be surprised compared to most.
