The reality is there are frauds and fakes everywhere losing their minds just trying to keep up the façade of fakery to get by. 💯!! He's a very loyal friend. Big Boi never said anything negative about Andre 3k, he always took up for 3k in interviews. He always cleared any rumors about their relationship as a group, any rumors about 3k sexuality. Big Boi didn't play about 3k. I think Big Boi was doing an interview with Charlemagne the God, CTG tried to say something about 3k wearing a dress and Big Boi said " I'll slap the sh*t out ya " 😂. Shut CTG real quick. I'm from Philly, moved down south, went to visit 1 summer (1995) , and 2 of my cousins was rapping OutKast.....at that point I knew " THE SOUTH HAD SOMETHING TO SAY " 😎😎

@Meatwad787 Big Boi from what I can remember got into breeding dogs cause it was a passion of him, and his brother. I think he gave the business to his brother. OutKast, Goodie Mob, the Dungeon Family had a tight relationship with a good production deal. Thats why Goodie Mob hasn't needed to release any new music, for years. OutKast has sold over 25 million records, before streams was a thing. In other words, them dudes rich for life lol. No financial problems, and their all still friends to this day.

This is how a health exit from the limelight looks. We need to start framing it like that instead of framing it like there's a problem. At the end of the day, he was smart and left before he fell off or before it killed him. He decided to be free and live life. The man can walk around the mall all by himself. Very few celebrities of his caliber have been able to achieve that. I consider that a success and I'm happy for him.

He does this all the time and people recognize him everywhere he goes. But he’s successfully eliminated the fanfare and media hype so it’s always a chill moment when people run into him. Look it up there’s countless videos and photos of people seeing him all over just walking around.

I once met Andre 300o in an alleyway in Manhattan when I was in 6th grade and he was doing a photoshoot. Right around that time he was my favorite rapper because I had aquemini and me and my dad used to bump it in the car. Me and a couple other kids from the area waited for him to come out of his trailer and when he did I said "I know you don't need to hear this from me but keep being creative". And he replied "well its gud ta hea it fruhm you" with that southern Georgia drawl. I'll never forget that moment. Its interesting he and I are similar in our complicated upbringing so it all makes sense now why I connected so much with his music and why we shared that moment.

Dammit, man, a documentary isn’t supposed to make you have an existential crisis- his life resonates so so much with mine.. my god, I’m in tears watching this.. I went through all he did.
Being a skater in Memphis in the 90s in the hoods during the crack era. Going to schools getting jumped, fighting, seeing many of my friends have their lives taken- never fitting in.. I made music, I drew, painted, rapped, tried heavy metal, punk, and all this was in Memphis during the 90s & up.. never truly fitting in.. we used to live in key west, going to school growing up there to my parents divorcing and living in Memphis.. I don’t think ppl can understand how much of a culture shock that was.
But, I wish I was strong, and brave, as Andre.. I gave in, I spiraled.. sold dope, went to jail, got shot three different times, smoked, popped pills, soft, and drank.. became a shell of myself.. mannnn now I’m older with kids, a beautiful wife, and still feeling like I never really got to do what I wanted with my life.. but I’m blessed.. daaamn man I’m in fxcking tears, this documentary man this documentary man
    Oh god..
This is truly your best work, well in my opinion.. I never felt like this over a documentary..
God bless you, man! Man thank you
I’m a huge fan of OutKast, especially Andre Benjamin, and I see why I am such a huge fan now.

This is when I really started listening to Outkast. Andre3000 has something really spiritual about him. Him and Big Boi are Legend. OutKast music is where the Left Brain and RightBrain became as one. Imagine a world where Outcast never happened. Oh man, that would be a HUGE piece missing from the very soul of human expression.
Andre, I was a teen in the 90's, and your music meant SO much to me. Thank God you brought the music and expression to the world like you did.
If you have times when you feel inauthentic, times where the music feels fake, or like you've spent all the good rhymes, lyrics, or ideas you'll ever make, just lock it down to the present.
It's how you feel now, and that's that. It can change in an instant, so don't let it be more than that. Don't think of the past or the future when you feel like this, just lock it down to now and know that it could change in an instant.
    Godspeed, brothah man.

Wasn't what I expected and loads of people kind of left when they realised it will just be his band and flute, so I managed to slowly get closer to the stage and almost front row. I was genuinely blown away, when I let the "judgement" of 'oh it's just the flute' go, I started to actually immerse myself in the music they were making on the spot and the feelings they were creating and it was one of the most intimate, touching and beautiful live music performances I saw. What him and his band performed was a different type of genious, it was pure raw music that touches the soul with no words, and made me realise what a musical legend he is. They did not just create music, they created a whole wave of vibrations and serenity

I am simply unable to form meaningful relationships, while being constantly haunted by failed ones, heartbreaks and regrets. I’m from KC,MO graduated in ‘04 and all we listened to was southern rap(ATL,Memphis,Louisiana), the bay area(mac dre/E40) and local rappers who would usually try to imitate one of those styles. Its weird tho bcuz back then local rappers weren’t really getting the love they should have from KC.
A lot of jealousy. I think KC had an inferiority complex back then as far as rap goes. the rest of the rap scene just considered us country. then Nelly dropped which was cool but he didn’t sound anything like the gang shxt coming outta KC. Tech N9ne’s early stuff was very good, super dark but then he linked up with travis and focused on syphoning the hardcore underground fanbase from ICPs juggalo crowd. Anghellic was the last underground sounding album he did before going semi-pop. Now they’re the highest grossing underground label

I grew up in East Atlanta/little five points area. In the early 2000's my band mates and I owned a punk rock venue in what at the time was a desolate wasteland in the heart of downtown Atlanta, at where boulavard and DeKalb Ave intersect..it is unrecognizable now to what it was then. One night my hardcore band was playing and Andre 3k came in, watched our set, talked to most of the 30 ish ppl there and left...i was vegan at the time also and saw him a handful of times at a couple different restaurants and at other indie/rock clubs in East Atlanta. Always very nice, he said hi and/or briefly chatted everytime I saw him. Atlanta was a magical place I moved downtown when I was 17, I was class of 2000... from the time I was 14 until 4 years ago Atlanta was one of the most unique and affordable cities there was. There was so much music and art going on... shit has really gone south starting about 15ish years ago.
