I have always wondered why evangelicals who hate the Book Of Morman spend so much of their trying to disprove something that they do not believe is true . If it were not true it would have gone by the wayside long before now . The great basien area would still be a wasteland . And the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints would have went the way of Jim Jones . The evangelicals do a great deal to maintain my testimony for me.

It seems reasonable to suppose, that whats really happening here, is are discoveries being found which supports the writings of the Book of Mormon.
To the basics. The options are, within the scope of who is the Author of the Book of Mormon.
    1. God in Heaven
    2. The Devil
    3. A man, possibly Joseph Smith
    Who has the motive,
    1. If God, Read Title page of The Book of Mormon.
    2. IF the Devil, i cant think of one. The Book of Mormon, leads men to believe in God, also speaks of the cunning and craftiness of of Devil. He doesnt even want you to talk of himself. He wants to do his work in Secrecy.
    3. Joseph Smith, it seems to me, the difficulty is/was so great, risky dangerous, disruptive, he would have motivation not to claim he translated it. In fact he only says he translated it.

      Confusion. Are not Mormons Christian?
Do you believe in the Bible?
Such as the NASB translation, 1995 is as close to literal translation of the koine Greek, and the actual intended meaning of the time the original writings we're written. With over 5,700 manuscripts dating back to the 120's ad and of course way further back for the OT, what, exactly, are the scientific problems with, what I suppose you are meaning as Christianity, that is of a separation in how it affects Biblical Christianity, and NOT affect Mormonism, since as many LDS proclaim, are Christian themselves. So how could one affect biblical Christianity and not it turn affect Mormonism. All the while, on the reverse side of that very coin, what affects the BoM does NOT have ANY effect on Biblical Christianity.

Evangelicals cannot stop themselves from attacking those who park their cars non-evangelical parking lots on Sundays. Some of the sharpest tongues I have witnessed wag from the mouths of evangelicals. If you don't care for another person's religion, ignore it. If their doctrines are so perfect, they should promote them. Attacking others would leave one to believe their is something missing in their own.

Yes they do have a bias. But don't people that believe the Bible is true also have a bias? Why else would they look for evidence if they didn't have a bias? I would think this video shows enough evidence to give a possibility of the Book of Mormon being true unless you have a bias against it. I know it's true because I prayed about it after I read it.

joseph smith recieved the words directly from god via a seer stone he would place in a hat. he never used the plates and therefore couldn't make any mistakes because they came from god. but he couldn't get animals, metals, and grains correct. could god be wrong or did joseph make them up. god would know animals names because he was with adam when he named all the animals. i have found many faults with the bom and i am a mormon. i am searching for the truth.

I read the Book of Mormon without anyone telling me anything to influence my experience. I prayed for the wisdom that the prophets of the Bible had which is distinctly different to the total darkness and ignorance that exists today with so called European derived Christianity, most of the religious people today never read scripture at all but think they believe in something and have no a clue of anything or act in any way different to non believers.
After reading the Book I had a massive spiritual experience where the Holy Ghost said directly to my very center of being : "The Book of Mormon is True , Joseph Smith is a Prophet and God is active today"
Joseph Smith was a real Prophet the things he did in his life such as the church, cities temples, books of revelations and translations that he created and non stop persecution he received during all of it is staggering to actually behold, no founder from any of the today's religions comes close to achieving what he achieved, his was killed in the end by the same world that killed Jesus and his apostles because he was just like them.
Not a day goes by when I do not wish I was 1 billionth of the man her was, unfortunetly men like that could not exist in this curropt immoral hypocritical and degenerate world that exists today.

Thank you for sharing. I had an initially similar experience of being able to read and study the Book of Mormon without anyone telling me anything to influence my experience (I received my Book of Mormon from a Marriott hotel). But instead of leaning on my feelings as a determinant of truth I did what the Bible commands: "test all things; hold fast to what is good." When reading the Book of Mormon I started to have feelings of deja vu as the material sounded familiar. Very familiar. Very very familiar. In fact much of it sounded like the book of Isaiah from my King James Version of the Bible. Before testing the Book of Mormon I was studying the King James Version-only movement and discovered that there were several verses that were not translated correctly. For example, Isaiah 3:3 "The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning aftificer, and the eloquent orator" (1769 KJV). In this verse the 1611 KJV followed the Bishops Bible in the rendering of lachash biyn as "eloquent oratour." This translation is incorrect and modern Bible versions suggest one versed in enchantments. One can see below how the English of this verse developed:
Coverdale "the masters of craftes and oratours"
Great Bible "the master of craftes and oratours"
      Geneva Bible "eloquent man"
      Bishops Bible "eloquent oratour"
      1611 KJV "eloquent oratour"
      1769 KJV "eloquent orator"
      * BOM "eloquent orator" (2 Nephi 13:3)
The most common renderings today are "expert in charms" or "skillful (or clever) enchanter". The fact that the Book of Mormon contains the incorrectly translated "eloquent orator" as found in the 1769 King James Version of the Bible suggests that Smith was not translating (or dictating) from an ancient source but instead following the English text of the Bible. This theory is given more weight considering that this is not an isolated event as there are many 1769 KJV translation errors that appear within the text of the Book of Mormon. Let's look at the facts and use some common sense: 1. 1769 KJV translation mistakes appear in the Book of Mormon which suggest it's not really a translation from an ancient source (it's a violation of common sense to think that 17th century translation mistakes would appear in a truly ancient document). 2. When considering the appearance of 1769 KJV translation mistakes it's unreasonable to think that even with the assistance of the Urim & Thummim, the seer stone, and "the gift and power of God" that Smith could still not come up with the correct translation. 3. This means Smith was not telling the truth about the origin of the Book of Mormon and it's translation process. 3. This also suggests that the witness to the plates and the translation process were not being truthful. 4. Since Joseph Smith can't be trusted from the get-go why trust anything else he had to say?
The devil is a master of deception, so it's important to not just assume that experiences which seem divinely originated are actually so. The devil is crafty and will mask things to make them appear from God. It's also important not to rely on feelings as a determinant of truth (i.e. burning bosom). That's why we need to test things against the Bible. Ironically it's the very Bible that Smith copied text from that reveals him to be a liar and con-man.

@@saurasenascorgan1319 It is common knowledge that Joseph Smith used the KJV version of the book of Isaiah for quicker translation. I plead with you to further look into these inconsistencies, and to doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith.

The Tower of Babel and the language fracture ? The Bronze Age collapse in the Near East circa 1200 BC. Syriac divides into 72 separate dialects. Egyptian 22nd Dynasty and Pharaoh Psussennes 1 [ King David ] at 1,000 BC. Judean Egypt from the Nile to the Euphrates. Thus the Judean / Egyptian influence into Iraq. A band of central Asians, of Siberian and Mongolian stock, in Iraq, the Jaredites. Maybe in Solomon's time they head back into central Asia and onto the Pacific coast and then across the Pacific into North America, starting the Woodland Period in North America circa 1,000 BC, with the quasi Egyptian-Judaic Adena culture. All Indianism throughout all the Americas springs from it. They all take off everywhere and do all sorts of different things. What then of the pre-Woodland Archaic ? Australo-Melanesian.

Eric Just A Sinner. well if you are reading the book of mormon you are in the right path to know if it is in fact the word if God but there is something more importatnt that you must do .you must sincerely ask in prayer to God to reveal to you if it is .as far as me from being an atheist tlo believing in something that was the key. and in fact i lwft the church a year after been baptized and became so miserable and at that point i inmerse myself to not only tey to orove that the churxh was false aswell as noseph smith and read all lds boooks as possible, all the. lds church history and besides all religions from their doctrines and beliefs not comments by outsiders and also antimormon propaganda. and guess what i received not anly personal revelations from God but also from the evil one angry at me so then i understood how is that joseph smith received opposition from the devil and precissely thats what he does now to those who search the truth so its up to you to know the difference now. but one thing if you seek you will find if you ask you will receive and if you knock it will be open unto you . so dont forget that. good luck.

I wish that non-Mormons and anti-Mormons unbiasedly and sincerely had the 'genuity' to watch videos such as this -- to see OUR rebuttals to their accusations that what we believe is ludicrous and false -- to see our arguments, etc.
I don't believe that most points in this video could be adequately rebuttaled by anti-Mormons...
But people and anti-Mormons are such that they vehemently rely on strong-headed opinions and emotions -- they're preconceptions as an overwhelming general rule is that they have already decided and there is no doubt to them that we have a false religion and a false text of scriptures. As a general rule they are not open-minded nor unbiased. That's just the way it is...

Elder Neil A. Maxwell said, "Defenders beget defenders and one of
the significant side benefits of scholars who are devoted, . . . is
that we will at least reduce the number of people who do not have
the capacity to defend their faith and who otherwise might 'grow
weary and faint in their minds.'"

I noticed one thing that no one gives any sources concerning the "facts" that are put forth in this video. Since only three of them have a Doctors degree and i'm guessing all of them are Mormon you really need sources for every claim you make. History just doesn't work with no historical reference, that's the way it works. And concerning the horse in Mexico and all of that, give me some sources... I'm only 11 min into the video and it's really hard for me to keep going because of this flaw.

having studied the ancient sanskrit scriptures of india for 30 years i would have to say that the mormons have a definite right to their beliefs and in many ways some of their concepts about prelife existence and becoming demi gods or kings of celestial planets has similar counterparts in the vedic scriptures of india. It does appear that while the catholics, christians, muslims, and mormans have an endless history of fighting and even killing each other, the hindus have a relatively peaceful and spiritual history in comprison I believe the mormans are convicted in their beliefs which is beautiful but it appears that they also have become fundamentalists in their vehement dislike towards all pre or post morman christian churches. I pray that all spiritual movements especially large ones can realize how much ignorance we are in if we think that our church is the only one and true church of God.very nice video

The concerts' theme was finding hope after loss, using the story of the Mormon pioneers' journey to the Salt Lake Valley in the 1840s as a backdrop. Choir director and Mormon Zach Tanner told The Moore American that the choir chose the Mormon pioneer story because it's about "a people who managed to find hope after everything was taken from them. They are forced to leave everything behind and build new lives, with just their faith to rely on."

I am an Ex-Mormon and now a born again Christian who still lives in Utah. There are issues that the BOM has with the Bible and even against itself verses the prophets D&C and Peal of Great Price. I don't bash Mormons, I love them very much, but they are not Christians. Although they take the name of Christ, so did other deceived cults that ended up bad. Mormonism theology is far from truth, but the people are really good people, but as Christians, we don't get to Heaven by being "Good people". We get to Heaven because Jesus Christ was the perfect Lamb of God. Mormonism is a heavy Polytheistic view, which is against the Bible of course, but also, it is against itself. This is one of the main points of LDS Doctrine that cannot stand. I pray for Mormons and we just moved here to the Utah Mountains Wasatch County and I long to share the true Jesus with them. Sadly, Most Apostate Mormons I have met, turn Atheist. This may not be true for most, but the ones I know are..... I pray that they do not stay Atheist.

Richard Holmes Yes, Joseph Smith said he had a revelation and vision with God and with Jesus Christ (2 separate and distinct entities according to Mormonism) that said all churches was an abomination to God and Smith claimed that God restored the true gospel unto him. Joseph Smith would go on to give a prophecy that Christ would return in 56 years. That was a long time ago, one of the many false prophecies Smith seem to have. So, I would imagine they claimed to be the latter day saints may be for that reason.

Richard Holmes Sorry, I am a busy man. I minister to a lot of people, mostly on FB. And comment on many videos on youtube. Anyway, I am just trying to expose the lie of Mormonism. It's sad that people refuse to believe that it's all a hopeless attempt for man to take back control. Same lie the devil had given in the garden of eden... You shall become as gods... Most Mormons, I believe, are more aware of the felicities of the LDS doctrine and just are afraid to come out. I had to expose my own past so that others would know the truth.

This was 1 of the sealed books.. It is now open.. matches up directly with the bible and the prophecies.. Nefie tells you Isreal will come together when this book is uncealed... It's been in whites possession and with no avail to them as a nation...
Now when this book comes all the way forward... You other nations should start to worried now. Who does the bible really belong too.. what color people?? Who does the book of Mor belong too??
Funny you should have never let us learn how to read.. We have figured you out.. And the lost books shall now come forth....

I think when you at anything you see what you want to see. That goes for both sides of the arguments. Those apposed, refuse to give any validity to evidence which supports the Churches claims. Those who agree are willing to give validity even the smallest piece of evidence.

They don't know the mind of the Lord and they never will. The lord will reveal where the Book of Mormon took place on his own due time. And Let me tell you, we are in for a BIG SURPRISE.

Concerning the possibility that many 'animal names' in the Book of Mormon mean a completely different animal that what is stated instead -- throughout my research over the years of all Native American languages throughout the entire Western Hemisphere -- there is rarely any consistency from one Native American language family to another in terms of their animal 'nomenclature systems': Many animal terms in many Native American languages have been completely 're-invented' over the millenia or undergone extreme semantic change. In a South American language family that I am currently researching -- the words for dogs in these Native American languages corresponds to their word for jaguar. A dog obviously looks nothing like a jaguar, and yet these two animals are used nearly synonymously.
In other Native American languages, the word 'buffalo' might mean 'human' and in another language buffalo, dog, and horse may all derive from the same root.
There are countless examples throughout many world languages that show extreme variation from what a term is supposed to mean, as opposed to what it actually does mean. A deer could actually mean a goat in or both in Semitic (Hebrew/Arabic) languages......so it is absolutely no stretch that when the Book of Mormon mentions 'horses' or many other animal names that supposedly existed in the New World......they could mean something completely different, instead -- something that only very vaguely looks like a horse, etc...
