- So excited to share my all time favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe with you. This simple chocolate chip cookie recipe is a keeper- I promise you!

Ingredients -
* ½ cup (113 gms) butter
* ½ vanilla pod
* ½ cup (100 gms) brown sugar
* ½ cup (100 gms) caster sugar
* 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
* 1 + ¼ cups (150 gms) all-purpose flour (maida)
* 1 tbsp (12 gms)cornflour
* ½ tsp (2.5 gms) baking soda
* ½ cup (88 gms) chocolate chips
* Sea salt

How to make chocolate chip cookies without oven- • NO-OVEN, NO-EGG, WHOLE...
To make this recipe eggless :
add 2 flax eggs which will be equal to 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds mixed in with 6 tablespoons of water. Allow the water and ground flax seeds to rest for 5 mins and coagulate before adding it in place of regular eggs.

Is taking salted butter fine, I mean if its sweet then why salted butter?
@@MrHardik94 Adding a pinch of salt to chocolate cookies is a common practice as it is said to enhance the sweetness and make the flavour profile more balanced. Salted butter works quite well here in my opinion.

Hey Shivesh! I am an absolute lover of your recipes, all of which are just foolproof and delicious. I made some chocolate chip cookies a few days before, making some tweaks to your chocolate chip smores cookie which I got from the website. I was reluctant to use any other recipes because my baking attempts turned right only after I started using your recipes and tips. Turns out it was pretty similar to this recipe, and they were probably the best cookies that I've ever had. I've tried almost all of your cakes, and they were all incredibly delicious and perfect! Shivesh i always have a thing for baking cookies and cupacke because it looks appetising and cute . Hi Shivesh, I have tried the same recipe twice, It tastes good and the top layer cookie is crisp and chewy inside. Just that I like the flat and thin cookies but It doesn't get flat like yours.

Just melt the chocolate using a double boiler (bain marie) method and pipe them onto a parchment/butter paper and let them cool down naturally. For cookies though, you could just use chopped chocolate. It works beautifully well if you aren't very strict about it looking this way.

I felt the same, but grinding sea salt on top balanced the sweetness well.
