I have been working on a restoration of a 1946 1015 and use the service manual as best as I can to instruct and direct this process. However, when the sequence of functions was lost in the middle of the process, it was nearly impossible to identify the problem until I found this video. The changes within the clutch, as the process continued, were shown clearly in the video and made finding the 'frozen' part and freeing that part and the mechanism, quick and effective. Thanks for a time and application of removing the entire mechanism as a teaching tool!

Thank you for taking your time to document the sequence of operations of you 1015 24-select mechanism. I have a very similar mechanism in Wurlitzer Model 24 that I will eventually restore, so this will be quite helpful to me.

This is a great explanation and I have watched it a dozen times. My selector shaft is not turning because the big pin of the spring was in back of the small pin that actually drives the shaft. But this looks OK. So how does the shaft connected to the long pin actually gets it power? From the spring? Because the small pin but is in front, not pushing the rod? Appreciate any help

My buddy has a Wurlitzer Americana 3700 with no sound. It was working fine one day and the next day there was no sound. Still plays and operates well but without sound. Any quick fix ideas? We are not at all experienced in repairing jukeboxes

The added microswitch which powers two coils. Was that so it would take less force to trip the mechanism that starts the record return cycle?
indeed that is the idea. When upgrading the cartridge to a modern type with less needle-force, the original tripwire will be too heavy to handle.

Probably should have been that way from the factory, although that would have been another two coils and a switch to worry about failing in the field so I can sort of see why a mechanical means was used.
Where did you buy the gears from to convert to 50hz, I need one, thanks
