I've always liked the animations in DayZ, they really look like whoever is handling the weapon really is just a civilian trying to survive with a basic understanding of how to operate firearms

After months of trying to get other reload animation TH-camrs to make a video on this game. Finally someone did it and did a damn good job. Maybe a video on jamming animations for this game ?
my only gripe is that they all sound the same. would be nice if there were more sounds since the majority of these sounds come from the Series 6000 General Sound Library (Original).
I'm actually surprised that a number of them are actually different sounding though, I particularly like how the Ruger 10/22 sounds just like the real thing.
DayZ , the first Arma to be built on Enfusion , despite being the same as Arma 3 has better content but worse gameplay , now Enfusion is used for Arma Reforger which has a easier but confusing control system and buggier AI
I swear, these new guns keep getting worse and worse each update. This animation looks like it was taken from Reforger, but edited to fit the model that really reminds me of the DMR rifle from ARMA 2, even when it comes to the quality of textures.
last i heard bohemia interactive was struggling to staff animators, but that was like two years ago so no idea what's up with that disappointing nonetheless
The lack of trigger discipline makes me SO worried. .. I know that these people are random people who know nothing about firearms and how to use them but still...
I dont mean to be that guy but these animations are horrible. They look like the person animating them, has never seen a gun outside a picture of one, and let his brain try to fill in the rest. I dont exspect 100% granted cause its a game designed to take us from reality, but this just feels like minimum effort was put in. Like try to be at least 60% accurate? Idk it dont have to be 100% but it definitely shouldnt be this.
I don’t get the same feeling when watching this. Most of the animations are good and most weapons are operated reasonably well, considering that the player is meant to be a civilian
probably because they're not supposed to be acting they knew extensively on how guns work. They aren't scavs nor PMCs from EFT and not especially Operators working for any security/military services

The bolt action reload. Your character uses his left hand fingers to keep the bullets going out if there is some in the intermag
