it really ruins a game when hackers do this, i would like to see your account paired with your gov ID or cell phone, then if your caught hacking your ID/ cell cannot be used ever again to play on the server. Something needs to be done.
It is the same with loot. Always hide my stashes in lakes and rivers but it always gets found on official but never on community. One hacker even refilled my crates with KAM's. Unreal.

@@Neztozc Yeah I did too although I don't play anymore. Official sucks for encounters, everyone's too scared of losing their gear. Community servers are better in that regard but come with their own problems

left warzone cuz hackers are just too much can't turn off cross platform so have to play with pc players with k&m and most of em cheat. this game is actually too fun but learned the hard way that community servers are way better than official.

I had 6000 hours in the mod, the game shaped me and was my favorite. Lone wolf'ed with many firefights like these, discovering camps in the most wildest areas. Never quite could get into the official game post-mod, but looks like its improved and captured some of what made it so great, will have to give it a go! Love your style of gameplay and commentary.

i've almost hit my first 1000 in standalone, played with and learned from guys who have ~12k hours across mod and standalone so i learn from the best lol as for the state of the game, there's not really much "improvement". nearly all the new content and stuff they add is shamelessly ripped from mods without the consent nor credit of the authors, and they neglect the smallest QOL improvements like letting multiple people leave the vehicle or interact with it at once, fixing the desync problem, etc etc as well as qol improvements that mods fix, like allowing us to access inventory while in vehicles, turning on and off night vision while in vehicles, allowing us to use certain optics with night vision. hell they even released a map smaller than cherna that you pay 15 bucks for. it just goes to show how bland, boring, and even frustrating vanilla game for most players is when less than 10% of players have unlocked even one of the achievements on steam
The SA is shit. The arma mod was good because it was made 10 years ago, and was an amazing genre-starter. SA does not live up to a modern standard - it's the clunkiest game in the world, and the gunplay is even worse. If you're looking for a survival shooter experience, I'd say look towards things like Hunt, Tarkov and Rust. DayZ is a relic of the past.

This is the first DayZ video I'm properly watching and you make it really entertaining! Also, huge props to your editor! He has a really good grasp on music choice, selecting thrilling music for fights, chill music for looting and merges it all very well together. Hats off!
It's funny I came to comments to complain about just that.. Not the choice in music. but the fact that i had to turn the volume up to heard the guys voice then when the music started it broke every piece of glass in my entire house. That is garbage editing.

Such a sad way for an adventure to end! Non the less, an adventure it was. One of the few DayZ youtubers who's content has me hooked the entire thing. The music, the pacing, the tension, you truly have a way with editing these types of videos/a certain style you pass on to your editors! I appreciate the time you take uploading. Never a dull moment!

I have a fair bit more than 11,000hours. Somewhere around 14-14.5k is more like the real number. But 11,000 seems to work well for the stupid title.

Never understood why to kill people who may not have a mic has to be the dumbest thing. I've come across many of non talking people who have been the most reliable allies
It's because people usually like to torture others and they don't get a reaction from someone with no mic, and yes im a lone wolf with no mic.
Well some players if the game doesnt provide something they want they are toxic .. from experience - i was new player with no mic and i always died when someone spotted me

in matter of fact, I've watched the whole 57 minutes and 54 seconds to the very end of it, even streamed your video at minute 36 when you were fighting that duo to my buddies and we were thinking to buy the game all together to just try and have 1/10 of what you just delivered in there, you got us hooked to this by simply playing this game like a predator hunting a prey !! a well deserved 1.15 million views

The editing, especially the use of the background music, has been absolutely immense as of late. Loved the scuffle at the myshkino tents. Crappy way for the adventure to end, but was enjoyable nonetheless. As a playstation player who only plays chernarus vanilla, was a pleasure to watch your adventure and decision making. I used to be staunch supporter of official servers. With time it became obvious, that modded servers are the way to go and that it's just about finding the right ammount of "modiness". I don't play on servers with traders, safe zones, player markers etc But servers like KarmaKrew, those are my jam.

I would always recommend anyone new to the game to watch your videos. The comment you made about positioning during PVP is such great advice. It's true, you really don't have to be the best shot if you can get the drop on someone.
Ive never managed to survive as long as any of the DayZ youtubers, its hard finding guns and food on the original DayZ servers, this is a very nice video, first video ive seen on this channel actually, keep up the good work.

How does this game work? You join a server and stay until you die? Like what if you're on for 2hrs and feel like logging off?
@@Yoko.Kurama basically they wipe the servers every two weeks because that's how long it take for the hackers to ruin the map for everyone.
Listening to this while at work. Playing the game when it’s dark is sick. Some of the best firefights happen at night. Seeing tracers flying from tree line to tree line is sick. Some of the best fights I’ve ever had were at night in Arma 2 DayZ

Yooo I been watching up until 46 mins, I never played dayz in my life and this was a great intro to it. Captivating video and gr8 music, I dropped a sub on the editor too haha. From the first death and l8r coming out on top by outbraining a duo by hearing the different weapons, ending up in a long and grueling firefight in the forest ending it all with a 1 tap on your unsuspecting opponent. Good stuff. I do gotta say, it seems to me this kinda game, it's fire and move, change position and reengage, and use angles to pinpoint opponents, stay static in cover, use your eyes to understand your surroundings, then burst into action, push and pull. Yea thats it. Thx for coming to my TedTalk.
New editing looks fantastic. Excellent sequencing of events and the sound is wonderfully balanced. The only thing I find noticeable is some of the background music, or maybe just the "constant" music. It's just my personal preference though (being a regular viewer of TRMZ), I'm just use to a quiet ambiance without something trying to set atmosphere. I find the videos very relaxing and great to watch and never felt they needed anything to move them along. Thanks for all the GREAT content!

I'm loving it so far! I currently have 104.1 hours and some days I can't stop playing it, it's brutally unforgiving but incredibly rewarding and thrilling. The beginning of your journey will be hard, but once you master the survival aspect of DayZ it's endless fun, I highly recommend it if you have the time

I play on official hardcore servers and it can vary. Some days I don't meet anybody at all and other days someone will run past me as I'm hiding in a corner or exiting a building, it can be hard to hear them coming even with headphones on at max volume. One time I spawned at the coast at night and ran into three other fresh spawns learning how to play the game!
Just remember not to be too trusting, the further you travel inland the more geared players will be, and people aren't nearly as friendly when they have a lot to lose
Official was a real treat, it honestly seemed that the players were more capable, these gunfights were different!
My stream didn’t know I was on official. I felt it was highly unlikely I’d get stream sniped because I never do official and everyone knows it so I could take my time and play properly.
When you get people using your stream to meet you or kill your all the time, it affects your own decision making too unfortunately.
Totally agree with you, I love all his videos, but this one on vanilla was amazing! Other players definitely seemed more on point! Really tense just watching this 😎👍🏻

Hello! Just stumble over your channel and i must say i really enjoyed this video! The backround music when you're walking arouns is so relaxing and it makes me think of the good old days when there was no modded servers :) And i totally agree, one of the best thing with Dayz is the fights. It's the most punishing game so you really need to think on how to fight people. Well done :D

The night to day transition on the path map was a nice touch
Just a tip, on official DayZ servers, I find the most NBC gear from firestations, but also from hospitals. The trick is to look for the buildings that spawn fire/medical gear around the main building. A really good spot is the cargo containers next to the firestation in Berezino. You could camp that spot for a couple days, and have full NBC. I rarely ever find NBC gear in military areas.
Grey nbc only spawns at tisy. The yellow big bird suit is everywhere else, loot cycle krasnotov and you’ll have full suit within a hour
This is how I was back in the mod, and the early days of SA. Then, well, I got very busy with life. Thanks, Paul, for keeping the steam going. Also, damn you for reminding me about how good struggle can be in something that has no real-world consequences. Glad to see you're still doing what you enjoy.
I have thousands of hrs in ye olde mod, and many also in this. I miss this game so much, but , due to my work schedule, had a falling-out with a team mate I had since I started the mod. Here is hoping I am lucky enough to get back into it, but I can't see myself doing it without her annoying-ass. My first video I enjoyed from you was maybe 8 years ago, good times.

I was with my buddy the other day, he got killed in a VERY simillar way on an official server, after 50 hours of gameplay with the same characters. I actually managed to combat log (I don't even know if I can call it that in this specific situation) it was at a coastal area aswell. It seems to me, that these hackers tend to stay close to the spawns. It was pitch dark, in the woods, no gunshot sound, every box checked out for a script user. Anyway, haven't played official since. It's a very good experience, the game is actually very good at the moment, but it's swarmed with cheaters.

To be fair, I think seeing some of our favorite DayZ streamers play official servers is quite comforting. Great way to reach out to your community. We can relate to things better through the game rather than modded servers. (Not talking bad about them) Seeing how you run an official servers gives a bit more confidence that there's still fun to be had on them. I really liked this vid TRMZ. Would be cool to see more! I love hunting and tracking players... So satisfying to tail someone and listen to them talk to their buddy, knowing your in the bushes a few feet away and just waiting for an ironic time to strike. I followed two dudes into a town once, took my pick and locked them in the PD while they were upstairs looting it, tossed a gas ball in there and backed up. They ran to the room because I'd tossed it in the base of the stairs so the interior wasn't safe, and they tried to unlock the door, got bleeds and then tried jumping off the roof. Broke their legs and got eaten by the hoard that their shooting at me had attracted. I sat in a bush across the street and watched.
That guy you shot in the leg 😂 You gotta break a few bones, or die from infection a lot of times before you learn what can fix it. These experiences are necessary in this game.
