Is there any proof of Adventure Down Under of 2006’s summer attraction in the children’s zoo?

I was actually thinking about it today, thinking that it was the first time I saw a Koala. You can find a decent amount of photos of the attraction on Flickr

    Review from this video:
I do have a concern about this exhibit because this complex replaces a former rare and unusual ungulates complex that this zoo used to have and I'm concerned that this is going to be underwhelming. Turns out it's actually better than what I initially expected.
The Red and Grey Kangaroo exhibit are pretty darn good. I love the grassy areas and the sandy areas for the kangaroos. Not the absolute best kangaroo exhibit ever, but I still think it's pretty good.
The Little Blue Penguin exhibit is also a very nice addition. I really love the aquatic crystal clear waters for the penguins where they look very active on swimming.
Overall, not a bad complex. The exhibits are very nice and their theming also really works (still looking at you, Columbus). My only gripe is the lack of species in that complex. I would totally love to see more Australian animals, like Wallabies, Tree Kangaroos, Cassowaries, Wombats, and Dingoes in this complex, or even the rarer species, such as Koalas, Tasmanian Devils, or even Platypuses (though that would be a really wishful thinking) in that complex because it's fit for Australian complex.
As for the answer: Children's Zoo are the temporary attraction for Australian animals living there.

Great Video! I think they did a fine job with this exhibit especially the Little Blue Penguins habitat. I would like to see them add a tree kangaroo habitat at some point.

It is a very beautiful exhibit. However if I was designing the exhibit I would have added a bit more diversity to the number of species on display. Maybe having an Australia House similar to that of the Columbus or Brookfield Zoo, or maybe a reptile house that features some of the unique creatures that call the Outback home.

I agree that there should be wallaby’s with the kangaroos or maybe even have outdoor flight cages where different Australian parrot and bird species could be seen it would be a great way to give birds that are usually confined to one area new sights smells and enrichment
That plus maybe two separate wallaby species would make it much more enjoyable

Would’ve loved a smaller aviary for cockatoos or kookaburras (or both), or an indoor/outdoor enclosure for one of Australia’s larger monitors (Argus, Lace or Perentie, despite the perentie’s rarity)

I guess I’m just not.. wowed by this exhibit? It’s cool that there isn’t any barrier between the Roos and visitors, but it just seems so played out by other zoos. I would have liked to see the more rare species, etc. but that’s just me.

It's a decent exhibit, but taking into account what it replaced, it's a huge letdown. If they wanted australian stuff there are so many rare and underrepresented species they could have put there. Given the long wait shown in this video, 45 minutes to see a few kangaroos, I'd probably just completely skip this area if I were to visit this zoo.

Columbus has a mob of almost all adults, males and females mixed, and they are not only calm but they avoid people like it's their job. Same thing I saw in Detroit, Fort Wayne, and they are especially tranquil in Nashville where people are encouraged to pet them.
