eleanor is the best true crime content creator because so many other creators will just talk about the murderer, but she always talks about the victims' lives. it's refreshing and so respectful. may gabriel rest in peace
100% agree, these were actual people not just victims. They had hope and dreams, they lived their own life before this happened to them. Let's not forget who they were, remember them for that, not just the act that took them away from us. Thank you Eleanor for showing so much respect and care for the victims.

getting rid of someone’s child they had before your marriage won’t make them love you more. say you get away with it, what now? they’re a shell of the person they were before they lost their child. whos to say you even recognise them anymore? and then the guilt on that. if you dont want step kids don’t get together with someone who has kids. easy.
Not to mention that the rates of couples splitting up after the death of a child is statistically very high. Higher than the norm for couples who haven't experienced the same.
I was talking to a guy who eventually dropped the news that he had a daughter, and you know what i did? Gently split up from him because I’m a normal adult with communication skills, and i know i don’t want to be a stepmom and i know how to communicate that. Unlike SOME people! The kid didn’t do anything in the situation so i will never understand people who hurt kids like that woman hurt Gabriel.
I suppose the sort of person who would even consider the idea of killing a child is not the sort of person who would be able to evaluate the subtleties of how it would affect their relationship.
I have a hard time believing that she "accidentally" incapacitated him by covering his mouth. Anyone who grew up with siblings (or just has common sense) knows that if you just put your hand over an 8-year-old's mouth, they'll bite you or kick you away.
Does she know how long you have to hold your hand over someone's mouth for them to lose consciousness? And she probably would have needed to cover his nose as well if he wasn't breathing AT ALL. There's no possible way it was unintentional. That poor baby.
Even if Gabriel was a “raging racist” 8-year-old (which is HIGHLY unlikely), as an adult you aren’t meant to “shut them up” or murder them, but educate them and find reason for why they are acting this way. Maybe they’re getting influenced by some other adults outside of the house, in which case, you have to help the kid and protect the kid from such vile behavior. What a shit excuse Ana Julia mustered up. She really is an idiot. Rest in peace Gabriel 🕊️❤️
Yes and IF it really wasn't manageable and he refused to stop (in the unlikely scenario that she's not lying), then surely you would end the relationship before resorting to **murder**
And even if he said all of those things, I feel like it would have clearly come from a place of “I miss my mom and dad together and want them to be a family again” instead of something genuinely malicious
I adore the fact that you always put such a focus on the victim and make us feel like we really knew them. So many channels focus more on the perpetrator.
This case reminded me so much of the Gabriel Fernandez case. I remember doing a project on him for 8th grade and it just broke my heart like this one did. The people who were supposed to protect and love them were the ones to do them harm. Rest up to both of the Gabriels 🙏🤍
You mentioned Patricia was acting with nobility, ironically the name Patricia means “Noble”. As a Patricia and a mother myself I am inspired by the Patricia in this case. My heart breaks for Gabriel’s family. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to go through losing a child in a senseless attack, but then to find out that the perpetrator was “family”. 😢🙏🏼
This is so disgusting. Trying to play the victim card after murdering an 8 yearold child! Smearing him, calling him a racist. This woman is the lowest piece of human refuse.
It's been 7 years and we still think a lot about this case in Spain. Seeing it unfold day by day in the news, and the pain that family had to endure, still haunts me. So far, the mother has managed to stop the documentary, and I hope no one ever does one and that family can finally rest.
Although this was a very sad case, I do think it's one of your very best videos. You did an excellent job of telling the story and brought up many thought provoking questions about how documentaries portray the innocent victims. I've been watching you for several years now and I think you are one of the best story tellers of true crime. Keep up the great work! BTW, I'm nearly 71 yrs old and I always recommend you to others who also enjoy true crime. ❤
IMO I 💯 prefer this style of true crime rather than documentaries. You give facts no matter who they favor, always treat victims with respect & empathy and try to learn something or take something positive away from such horrific & tragic situations.
Just wanted to say I think you are a shining example of how to do true crime right. You always memorialise victims beautifully and stick to the facts without trying to dramatise anything. You talk about issues with the community and make the public aware of watching true crime carefully. Thank you for doing things right xoxox
“Self defense” against an eight year old ALLEGEDLY hurting your feelings that ends in his passing is an incredibly disgusting way to say you hated your husbands baby so much you were willing to devise a plan to get rid of him and then attribute horrible character to him to validate you’re evil crimes
Damn this woman is evil! I don't believe a word she said. So what if a child is insulting you? Kids snap, they do sometimes. And I bet it didn't even happen. She lies with every word she breathes
I don’t understand why she even picked him up and then brought him to the renovation site? If she killed him in a fit of rage, why were they there in the first place? Also, her race has NOTHING to do with what she did. Look at Gannon Stauch’s murderer, she was his white stepmother. Race has nothing to do with this murder. It seems to stem from her jealousy towards the poor child, as with a lot of step parent, stepchildren murders.🤷♀️🤦🏻♀️💔😔🙏
Even if he had said all of those things or had a weapon, HE’S 8!!! That “woman” is a child herself if she feels it’s necessary to defend herself against an 8 year old to that extent.
I'm so thankful that you address the unwarranted racism that cases like these spawn. People are often too quick to forget their allyship if they get the opportunity to use one terrible person as an excuse to use every slur and stereotype and insult under the sun.
I'm from Spain, and I remember how large the impact was. I wasn't entirely aware of all the details (I was 13 when it happened) but I won't forget how shaken people were. Loved the way you spoke about this case, as always. I've followed you for some years and you always speak about everything with the upmost respect. Just one little nitpick, El día de Andalucía isn't a national holiday. It, along with other festivities, are specific to different autonomous communities. So in, for example, Catalunya they don't celebrate it. They have their own autonomous community day. And, I'm so sorry if my english is bad.
Anytime I listen to children murder cases it breaks my heart when they say ‘little body’ or ‘little clothes’ or something else along those lines. It hurts my soul to think of how small the young children are
36:06 also something interesting is that the reason that Ana Julia decided to move Gabriel that day is because police where already onto her, so they “leaked” to the press that they where about to make an arrest or that they knew who had Gabriel I don’t really remember, to see if she would make a move. And she did. I remember being at school the day that they arrested her, everyone was talking about it. It also opened up a LOT of conversations about racism, as people where saying really racist things, and the point of “she’s an awful person” got lost as people started talking about skin color rather than the fact that she killed an 8 year old boy. I think that’s part of the reason they wanted to buy her documentary, everyone was talking about her. And even to this day “el pescaito Gabriel” is something that people comment on a lot.
I had a stepmom like this lady she didnt like me for some reason and i was only 7 when i first met her she never had her own kids until i was 11 i got a sister and my dad hoped that having her own child would open a motherly instinct but she became worse she is the definition of a wicked stepmom thankfully my dad isnt with her anymore and i love my new stepmom if you dont want kids or dont like kids dont be with someone who has them its that simple
Hi Ellie: there’s nothing to do between Andalusia’s day and White Week (break in February normally there are excursions to the snow ❄️). Ángel knew she might have been involved but was asked to act normal. The images of her hugging him while you know he knew give you goosebumps
I don't usually comment on videos but just wanted to say this video was done beautifully. Thank u for raising awareness. All of your words on making other aware and talking on behalf of the victim not talking making it about the murder is great work. Absolutely perfect ❤ You've given Gabriel and his family a voice here. Thank u xx
I think that criminals should be able to share their stories IF and only if the victims family gives permission and 100% of the proceeds go to the victims family or a charity of their choice.
omg I'm from Spain and I remember when I first saw this case on the news before they found him and who did it I was eating lunch at my friend's house with her and her parents and we were watching the news when they started talking about this kid who was missing, the searches they were doing and then the parents came on screen, after it was over we were talking about how sad the situation was and wishing they could find him soon when my friend's dad said "That boy is definitely dead" We were all shocked and saying things like "Hey don't say that" and "Have a little faith" but he kept going and said "Just look at the stepmom, she looks so guilty. There's no way she didn't kill him", we just looked at him and changed the subject Then some time later the news that the stepmom "found" the boy's shirt came out and it was REALLY suspicious, and a couple days after that she confessed and all I could think about was how????? How did he know??? (And obviously why would someone do that to the child they should be caring for) But I really couldn't wrap my head around the fact that my friend's dad knew all along, all I was thinking about while watching the news for the first time was that everyone reacts differently to this type of situations and how stressful it must be for everyone in the family (stepmom included) so I didn't suspect a thing Honestly the whole situation was really sad and this case broke everyone's hearts here in Spain, every single one of us were so involved in the case watching it unfold day by day that we couldn't believe this horrible ending
As a spaniard and an andalusian Seeing you cover this hit hard, especially with how close it was I've gotta make a correction though, Almería is not the capital of Andalusia, Seville is :]
Eleanor, let me stop for a second to tell you, that you look absolutely stunning in this video! I love the contrast of the green to your hair and that hairband is beautiful!
The difference between what you do and what Netflix did with Monster, is that you are educating. You tell facts. You focus on the victims and highlight their pain and the injustice they suffered. You give the suspect their fair chance and you tell us about their lives and many do have tragic childhoods. You don't ignore that. They have their "moment", But in the end you bring it back to the victim. You can't compare most True Crime to dramatized movies like Monster.
I’ve been waiting for you to do a Spanish case for so long. This one in particular really stood up in Spain. I remember watching the news everyday, feeling horrible for what the parents had to go through.
The way I damned gasped when you said about her burying the body in the rubble of the house oml, thank you for always treating cases with respect and dignity. It must be hard to research the cases but also to bring attention to important topics 😊
As the child of an amazing stepmom, this breaks my heart because I can imagine how he felt at first “oh yeah I know her;my dad trusts her, that means she’s trustworthy” then to have that followed by the horror he must’ve felt makes me sick.
I am so glad that the police officers that had a gut feeling actually acted on it and followed her because if they had not Gabriel may not have ever been found and she would have gotten away with murder. So kudos to those officers… we hear a lot of good and bad about the police, so I am so glad they jumped on this case and caught the “bad guy”. I just feel so bad for Gabriel’s mom and dad and all his friends and family. And thank you for bringing awareness to this case🥰🥰
I’m from Valencia, Spain and was actually in like 4th grade when this happened, everyone knew about it and it was horrible, we had a whole day of mourning for Gabriel❤
Honestly this case was heartbreaking when we all heard about this. I live in spain near the area and it was ALL over the country and after we heard what she had done, the hatred was absolutely mental! The fish. This is a core memory for Spain, in school we got given the task to create them and spread awareness of little Grabriel. My heart goes out to the family 🥺💙

I'm always very grateful when it does. there are two cases that are really present in spain and have had a lot of media coverage: the murder of diana quer and the disappearance and presumed murder of marta del castillo. the murder of diana quer went unsolved for a year and the media was heavily criticised for revealing the victim’s personal information. and the disappearance of marta del castillo is a mystery. she disappeared in january 2009 and she still hasn’t been found. her ex boyfriend confessed to her murder but he has given seven different versions of what happened. i hope you can cover these cases in the future
What Ana says Gabriel said to her seems awfully eloquent for an 8 year old, though maybe it's a translation thing... I don't think you can accidentally suffocate someone that easily either. Do you think she kept trying to raise the reward money so she could collect it herself?
I’m so grateful to be apart of this community.. I’ve become more aware of the world and the evil that lives in it. I’m more aware of the cruelty that some people that walk among us like regular people possess. I’ve learned what the red flags look like and how to protect myself, my child and my family. I have people like you Eleanor to thank for doing the work that you do to raise awareness for these victims and their tragic stories. I will never understand how someone can murder a child in cold blood, and go one step further to pretend like it never happened, come clean only when they’re caught red handed and try to profit off of such a horrendous crime and exploit that poor child even more. Pure evil.
the killer gets the chance to say their “side of the story” in court. this one pled guilty and that’s the end of her side of the story, there’s nothing else that needs to be known. it’s not like she claimed her innocence the entire time and says she was wrongly convicted, then there would be a TINY sliver of reason to hear her “side” but that’s not what happened. most of the time in courts all over the world, a fine as a punishment is mostly symbolic as that person typically doesn’t have the money for it and theoretically will never have the money if they get sent to prison for life. the fines shouldn’t be seen as a reason to give this disgusting excuse of a person a platform.
my heart just DROPPED when she said this woman was from the DR. uuuggggghhhh....as a Dominican, that just makes me so ashamed. and angry. how could you do this, first of all, but also how could you represent your country in another country so horribly. i'm disgusted.
The bit you said at the end about true crime teaching you how to be aware is so very true!!! I watch child abuse true crime cases and it helps me be very aware of possible scary, predatory behaviours as a parent to protect my Child!
I was born in Santo Domingo so this case really hurts me how can a woman do this to a child especially her knowing what child go through in our country and she has her own daughter
I live in Gibraltar just south of spain, and i remember watching and following this from start to finish, and i told all my friends "she did it, that evil woman killed him" 😢 rip sweet angel #todossomosgabriel
How on earth does an 8 year old hold an axe and speak horrible things to an adult?? How can an adult even say those things about an innocent child?? My daughter is 8 and I've NEVER heard her say a disparaging remark towards anyone!! These babies need protected and NO ONE should be profiting off of another family's grief at all!! I hope that this production gets taken away from her and she doesn't get to say false and evil words about a defenseless child who, just by what you described of him, sounds like a sweet little boy!!!
I remember requesting this case a couple years ago because I remember watching the news here in Spain when they were looking for poor Gabriel. I can't research cases myself and I've always loved how you communicate a case with love and care for the victims. Descansa en paz Gabriel.
I remember seeing this case on the news when I was around 10 (I live in spain) and it was really the first time I realized the horrible things that could happen to me. I put on the news when I came back from school every day just to see if anything new had happened… so haunting
I remember holidaying a few years ago in this part of Spain.. there really isn't much out there and this village/town is tiny and in the middle of nowhere. In fact it was such a huge case that whilst on a tour bus on an excursion the host actually pointed out the house he was from and talked about what happened.. it was bizarre.
I dont believe that Gabriel said all these things to her. Like come on, his father loved her, Gabriel had probably heard good things about her from his father, and a father is definitely a very important person in a boy's life
Even before I clicked on the video I recognized Gabriel’s face without having to read the caption. This case really had a huge impact here in Spain and I can still remember almost perfectly the shock that all of us had when the news about Ana Julia being the responsible for this brought up. I’ve been tearing up almost the entire time, he was so young and seemed to have a really pure soul. Thank you for covering this case and for showing such a respect for all of the victims like you always do Eleanor. I didn’t have the knowledge about all of the documentary stuff you mention at the end,but I really hope that Patricia can win against all of that. May Gabriel rest in peace 🐟🩵
Iwona Wieczorek from Poland! It's an unsolved true crime story from 10 years ago and still nobody knows what happened to her and where she is. People have been investigating this for years and it's still a huge mystery
I don't believe a word of the murderer claiming that the boy made racist comments to her. He was intelligent and talented, such a sweet boy. This murder is not justified in anyway.
Just seeing the thumbnail gave me goosebumps. This case had us all shocked, sad and enraged every time it came up on the news. So devastating. That woman is a monster.
Thank you for your reflections (at the end of the video) on profiting from people’s pain. I appreciate the way you call yourself in so consistently, and the way you and your team present the complexities of each case. As I listened to you speak about why you do what you do I was reminded of why I listen to true crime. I listen because I was raised safe, protected, loved… and because of the trauma my own mother had to endure because of a family friend - I was never exposed to the depraved and harmful things some people do to others. So that when I have worked with middle school kids… sometimes I have missed VERY obvious warning signs. I found true crime after the incidents I missed or “showed up late” to. And now I listen with a purpose: to learn how to judge what is alarming, and what is benign. And also to learn that being “rude” or “too careful” (that last one was a common accusation of me as a youth) isn’t even a thing I care about anymore. I’d rather experience a life of peace and love that translates to every person around me than anything else. ❤
46:57 if you blame her gender or her nationality or her religion for his murder you effectively absolve her of her crimes. She didn’t do this for any other reason than the fact that she is a disgusting and disturbed monster. If you wanna hate something, hate the choice that she, alone, made. don’t hate what she could not choose.
i am from Portugal, we are right by spain and our languages are very very similar. i think you pronounced everything pretty well! nicely done! lov u :))
I remember just how shaken the country was. From the very first day he disappeared the whole country was looking for him. I was in highschool at the time and we would all spend all day talking about him. Teachers would interrupt classes to inform us about news, and when we came come we would be glued to the television hoping for the news to announce he had been found. Rozalén, an upcoming artist had just posted one of her most famous songs known as “Girasoles” which Gabriel loved and to this day you can still find people praying for him in the comments. Rest in peace Pescaito, we will never forget you.
As an argentinian, I'd like to recommend one of the most well-known cases of human trafficking in our country. I'm talking about Marita Verón's case. What's most inspiring about the story is her mother's relentless fight for justice. Sadly, Marita was never found, but her case sparked a social debate around the topic and its search helped in many ways, to prevent cases like this to ever happen again.
Also the fact that this sweet baby was still alive and she didnt choose to drive him to the hospital, try and save him herself or even call the cops and try and save him by saying he was suffocating on something else (if she wanted to save herself) but she chose to finish this child off tells me everything! She premeditated this and thats why she gave him a lift, he didnt say anything racist and she wanted to kill him! This woman deserves HELL
Single fact that he was still alive and she didn't even try to save him is enough for me to say with a 1000% certainty - IT WAS PREMEDITATED

I have a hard time believing that she "accidentally" incapacitated him by covering his mouth. Anyone who grew up with siblings (or just has common sense) knows that if you just put your hand over an 8-year-old's mouth, they'll bite you or kick you away.
It's even simpler : anybody still can breathe with their nose. So covering a mouth with the hand does not end up with death.
as an older sibling THIS.
This! She killed him by covering his mouth? Not in a million years would that be possible if he was still conscious and moving.
Yes and IF it really wasn't manageable and he refused to stop (in the unlikely scenario that she's not lying), then surely you would end the relationship before resorting to **murder**
the only raging racist was the step-mom herself. putting that mentality on a child is clear projection.
She is a Monster. Not an idiot.
And even if he said all of those things, I feel like it would have clearly come from a place of “I miss my mom and dad together and want them to be a family again” instead of something genuinely malicious
I don't believe that child said any of that. She was obviously sick and twisted and wanted the father to herself so she could leech off him more
I adore the fact that you always put such a focus on the victim and make us feel like we really knew them. So many channels focus more on the perpetrator.
This case reminded me so much of the Gabriel Fernandez case. I remember doing a project on him for 8th grade and it just broke my heart like this one did. The people who were supposed to protect and love them were the ones to do them harm. Rest up to both of the Gabriels 🙏🤍
when they made the netflix documentary about the abuse that poor baby had to endure, i couldn’t even finish it, that case haunts me daily honestly
These cases aren’t at all alike except for the step parent part?
@@paolasegoviano8674right, and the name of the boys. I didn’t see anything similar
How
There’s literally nothing comparable between the two cases other than their name. I’m curious to know what grade you got on that project because…..
it's so interesting seeing the different age groups in these types of videos! have you always been interested in these topics? sending love!
❤
She COULD'VE put Gabriel's name in the title....
IMO I 💯 prefer this style of true crime rather than documentaries. You give facts no matter who they favor, always treat victims with respect & empathy and try to learn something or take something positive away from such horrific & tragic situations.
I definitely prefer TH-cam videos which focus on the victims, their achievements and what the criminal took from the World
It's much more educating
Just wanted to say I think you are a shining example of how to do true crime right. You always memorialise victims beautifully and stick to the facts without trying to dramatise anything. You talk about issues with the community and make the public aware of watching true crime carefully. Thank you for doing things right xoxox
this case shocked spain so much… i remember feeling devastated when watching the news
25 mins in and she has me sobbing 😭 I love how much compassion she shows, you can always tell she cares ab her cases
For real. My son tells me he doesn't love me anymore . I tell him I don't love him any less. It makes him shut up
I don’t understand why she even picked him up and then brought him to the renovation site? If she killed him in a fit of rage, why were they there in the first place? Also, her race has NOTHING to do with what she did. Look at Gannon Stauch’s murderer, she was his white stepmother. Race has nothing to do with this murder. It seems to stem from her jealousy towards the poor child, as with a lot of step parent, stepchildren murders.🤷♀️🤦🏻♀️💔😔🙏
💯 agree
Even if he had said all of those things or had a weapon, HE’S 8!!! That “woman” is a child herself if she feels it’s necessary to defend herself against an 8 year old to that extent.
Exactly! There’s no valid excuse for this
Big thank you from Spain, thank you for telling Gabriel story with such respect ❤
I'm so thankful that you address the unwarranted racism that cases like these spawn. People are often too quick to forget their allyship if they get the opportunity to use one terrible person as an excuse to use every slur and stereotype and insult under the sun.
i've been looking for someone covering this case respectfully. thank you.
I had a stepmom like this lady she didnt like me for some reason and i was only 7 when i first met her she never had her own kids until i was 11 i got a sister and my dad hoped that having her own child would open a motherly instinct but she became worse
she is the definition of a wicked stepmom thankfully my dad isnt with her anymore and i love my new stepmom if you dont want kids or dont like kids dont be with someone who has them its that simple
I was about to say the same thing. In any documentary, whether pro-defence or pro-prosecution, should have the victim's or victims' family's blessing.
omg I'm from Spain and I remember when I first saw this case on the news before they found him and who did it
I was eating lunch at my friend's house with her and her parents and we were watching the news when they started talking about this kid who was missing, the searches they were doing and then the parents came on screen, after it was over we were talking about how sad the situation was and wishing they could find him soon when my friend's dad said "That boy is definitely dead"
We were all shocked and saying things like "Hey don't say that" and "Have a little faith" but he kept going and said "Just look at the stepmom, she looks so guilty. There's no way she didn't kill him", we just looked at him and changed the subject
Then some time later the news that the stepmom "found" the boy's shirt came out and it was REALLY suspicious, and a couple days after that she confessed and all I could think about was how????? How did he know??? (And obviously why would someone do that to the child they should be caring for)
But I really couldn't wrap my head around the fact that my friend's dad knew all along, all I was thinking about while watching the news for the first time was that everyone reacts differently to this type of situations and how stressful it must be for everyone in the family (stepmom included) so I didn't suspect a thing
Honestly the whole situation was really sad and this case broke everyone's hearts here in Spain, every single one of us were so involved in the case watching it unfold day by day that we couldn't believe this horrible ending
As a spaniard and an andalusian
Seeing you cover this hit hard, especially with how close it was
I've gotta make a correction though, Almería is not the capital of Andalusia, Seville is :]
I’m from America but thank you for covering other places. Some of these people beg for coverage due to it not receiving the attention they deserve.
People are so messed up sometimes. I feel bad for Gabriel's parents. This is heartbreaking.
thank you from spain for being so respectful (as you always are)❤
i cant believe how awful people can be
As the child of an amazing stepmom, this breaks my heart because I can imagine how he felt at first “oh yeah I know her;my dad trusts her, that means she’s trustworthy” then to have that followed by the horror he must’ve felt makes me sick.
And thank you for bringing awareness to this case🥰🥰
my little brother really looks like him, i can't imagine this happening to him. I just went to go give him a big hug
My heart goes out to the family 🥺💙
im from spain, my family lives in the city where Gabriel and his family were from. I remember seeing this case all over the news for very long when i was a kid. It broke all of our hearts. RIP Gabriel
such a young precious little boy, this episode made me very emotional, thank you for always being so respectful and kind with your words about the victims and their families 💕
Ps: Eleanor, my mom passed me while I was watching and said she loved your look, she said and I quote "She looks like a princess" 💖
Thank you for covering this case, Eleanor ❤
It's always much more chilling and emotional for me to hear any case from my own country being covered by true crime youtubers I follow, specially because it's extremely rare for that to happen. I'm always very grateful when it does.
Everything surrounding this case is hearbreaking; I can't even imagine the parents' pain, specially after the double betrayal which was for Ana Luisa to be the one responsible.
You did a great job covering it, thank you again from Spain❤️🌷
I just love when Eleanor says "whole entire world" with such passion! I notice she says this phrase a lot in most if not all her videos ❤
I read that her daughter fell out of a seventh story window “accidentally” and died long before she ever met Gabriel’s father
She really hates kids😭😭😭😭
Got the notification for this and Danielle Kirstys new video the exact same moment ❤ spoilt
I had just finished Danielle’s video when I got the notification for this one, it’s a good day for Ellie and Danielle watchers 🥹❤️

@@Al-Vr-al
Is that Danielle Hallan? She's also really good!
there are two cases that are really present in spain and have had a lot of media coverage: the murder of diana quer and the disappearance and presumed murder of marta del castillo.
the murder of diana quer went unsolved for a year and the media was heavily criticised for revealing the victim’s personal information.
and the disappearance of marta del castillo is a mystery. she disappeared in january 2009 and she still hasn’t been found. her ex boyfriend confessed to her murder but he has given seven different versions of what happened.
i hope you can cover these cases in the future
Pure evil.
Why did she undress him though? That is another thing that doesn’t make sense... Not saying she SA'd him, but it's still strange.
the killer gets the chance to say their “side of the story” in court. this one pled guilty and that’s the end of her side of the story, there’s nothing else that needs to be known. it’s not like she claimed her innocence the entire time and says she was wrongly convicted, then there would be a TINY sliver of reason to hear her “side” but that’s not what happened. most of the time in courts all over the world, a fine as a punishment is mostly symbolic as that person typically doesn’t have the money for it and theoretically will never have the money if they get sent to prison for life. the fines shouldn’t be seen as a reason to give this disgusting excuse of a person a platform.
my heart just DROPPED when she said this woman was from the DR. uuuggggghhhh....as a Dominican, that just makes me so ashamed. and angry. how could you do this, first of all, but also how could you represent your country in another country so horribly. i'm disgusted.
The bit you said at the end about true crime teaching you how to be aware is so very true!!! I watch child abuse true crime cases and it helps me be very aware of possible scary, predatory behaviours as a parent to protect my
Child!
Paz y amor por la eternidad
Poor little boy... It's horrifying
Eleanor!!! I am from Andalusia Spain! You did brilliantly covering this case thankyou so much❤️
I remember seeing this case on the news when I was around 10 (I live in spain) and it was really the first time I realized the horrible things that could happen to me. I put on the news when I came back from school every day just to see if anything new had happened… so haunting
No way I was just looking to see if you’ve posted anything new then I get this notification 😭😭
Same
bro where has an 8 year old got an axe from? that doesnt make any sense
They were on renovation site. So it was probably in there.
But I don't believe it's even true.
@Al-Vr-al but he was walking to his cousins house from his grandma's, we don't know where the renovation was but I doubt it's on that road.
She threw a pot of boiled spaghetti and see any of them stick. A normal person she is not.
@@sleepy_person4she said that when the ratty little step mum picked him up, they drove right past the cousins house that he was meant to go to.
May Gabriel rest in peace 🐟🩵
im so surprised to hear u talk abt a Dominican killer as a Dominican myself but what a disgrace to our country. i hope she rots. rest easy gabriel💓💓💓
I love the way Eleanor is so respectful and understanding towards the victims and family
I’m from Spain and I remember watching all this in the news while sobbing. It still breaks my heart
El dia que desaparicio Gabriel , mi hija nacio. Cada año que celebra su cumple, pienso en el tambien.
@@Monada79Wow, that is so sad but sweet..
@@kerys_2009_cThank you. That morning I had an uneasy feeling and all of a sudden I couldn't breathe .
You always bring such love and compassion to the crimes you cover! Your rant at the end is totally needed, please protect children!
So she has a daughter of her own and then murders someone else’s son?? Disgusting
i am from Portugal, we are right by spain and our languages are very very similar. i think you pronounced everything pretty well! nicely done! lov u :))
I appreciate how you continue to deliver these horrible cases with such respect and compassion. Thank you so much
I NEVER MAKE IT THIS SOON AFTER YOU POST! OMG! 😱 Thank you Eleanor!
This is so very sad. Thank you for bringing this case.
This is absolutely heartbreaking thank you for getting his story out there 💔💔
I don’t believe for a second that Gabriel said those words to her. I called absolute BS on that.
This woman deserves HELL
i will never understand how anyone could hurt a child 😭😭
She took him to the site. How can she say she hadn't planned anything
I love how passionately you spoke about Gabriel's early days!
Good evening Ellie! Been binge watching your older videos this weekend 😊
