    The fact that Caylee's remains could have been found sooner is so infuriating, especially when you consider that she might have been in better condition for thorough autopsy that would directly link Casey to her death.

      typical shitty cop work tbh
      also in Florida in the summer, her body would have decomposed very quickly so they should've gone the first time they were tipped off

    • @bubbletea9111
      @bubbletea9111 ปีที่แล้ว +39

      If only they searched the areas around where she lived sooner or listened to the tip offs. If I was a cop and I sussed Casey, that's the first thing I would of done. When she's not out partying, she's either at home or with a lover. She only knew of so many places to bury her.

    • @princesspikachu3915
      @princesspikachu3915 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      @@bubbletea9111 She didn’t even bother to bury her. That poor baby was put into a garbage bag and thrown away in a not so remote location with duct tape keeping the jaw and skull together long after the actual flesh had broken down leaving “dry bones”. There was duct tape on that baby’s face. It was also probably covering the nose too but decomposition made it difficult to tell.

I don't c y that would b a difficult conversation, her dad alone would hav likely been elated if she asked just to babysit and didn't return. To take her child's life and not her own, not saying she should take her own but y would a sacrifice make ur life better? WHAT THE HELL. i thought you couldn't even become a detective if you have even the slightest bit of a record. in fact they do a serious background check and find out things that were never even documented so how the HELL did SHE become one. i really wanted to become a detective but hearing abt the background check i was afraid i wouldn't pass because i got in online fights with random ppl over ethics, and they do a lie detector test on the spot with no notice, and idk i thought id slip up (they ask extremely hard questions like "would you kill someone if you had the chance and they killed your loved one" if you say yes you dont pass) but NOW seeing a full on cold blooded child killer, was able to get her licence, i think i might just follow my dreams. but all jokes aside, its horrible that a 2 year old will never get justice unless her mother admits the truth. also umm how did she spend 10 days in prison and no one bothered to beat the FK outta her? i mean everyone knows what happens to child r*pists but child KILLERS they usually get justice served to them fast asf.

A Freudian slip and correction and then does it AGAIN. In contrast, it’s amazing how much loved ones will turn a blind eye or not connect very evident and obvious dots when in a situation like this… our brains don’t automatically compute that someone we love can be a monster, so we make allowances for their behaviour or shitty attitudes. Finding Casey Anthony not guilty was, legally speaking, the first time I ever saw how, in a US courtroom, a lawyer was able to properly explain to the jury why a guilty verdict could not be found here nor would it be justifiable. It's not a question of Casey's guilt or not, it's that it couldn't be reconstructed what happened! In doubt for the freedom of the accused, that's what we Europeans know. And that's why I think Jose Baez is one of the best criminal lawyers in the world! How good and right it was when I heard, "Tonight when I come home and my daughter asks me what I did today, I can say that I saved a life!". Even if you Americans may yell, the verdict was right! @@Kalbert7161- I’m retired from the judiciary. I was disgusted with that verdict, the entire trial too. I did not agree how the judge ruled on many points. Casey was on trial, not George. The defense could attempt to create reasonable doubt, by stating there was no direct evidence Casey killed the child, deliberately or not. Bringing George into the mix was very wrong. If the State felt there was enough evidence to prosecute George, they should have, and then he would have his own trial. The fact the State never went after George is simply because there was no evidence he had any part in the child’s death.
      The judge should never have allowed that admissible in court. It sent the jury on the wrong path. I never believed Casey deliberately murdered her baby. I do believe, based on her actions, she did harm the baby in an attempt to keep the baby sleeping while she partied. When the baby was found dead, she panicked and disposed of her. No one puts tape on a dead child to keep her quiet. I believed Dr. G’s assessment of the remains. Dragging George into the trial, the sexual abuse allegation, was solely to paint him in a bad light, and capable of murder. It was a travesty of justice. I was never a defense attorney, I was a prosecutor. It takes a special person to be able to give an accused murderer a good defense. Especially with so much pointing to guilt. Those behaviors could also be symptoms of a personality disorder, or could have some other explanation. While I do personally think that she definitely did it, and while I think the other evidence they found is pretty damning, it is largely circumstantial and so I don't know if it's enough to actually prove her guilt in court. Especially since I’m pretty sure Eleanor said that the prosecution was asking for the death penalty, so I imagine that the burden of proof would be much higher.

      The jury admitted that they all thought she was guilty, but because the death penalty was on the table, they felt the prosecution hadn't presented a strong enough case.

    The police incompetency with Caylee’s remains is so painful to me, they could’ve done anything and everything but they chose not to. I am just infuriated and I can not imagine the amount of suffering Caylee’s grandparents had to endure.

    This is so disgusting and just frustrating to hear. Caylee didn't deserve that in any way, and especially the fact both Casey's father and brother were accused of SA, when Casey's father literally was supporting her. This case is the most saddest and frustrating thing to hear.
