Will you have the Bass shaker kit to add on ? Not just the Mount but an actual seat pad perhaps with 6 or 8 transducers ? Similar to SimRacing Studios. These Haptic pads keep disappearing from he market place. I am zeroing in on a chair but will want a YOKE and Wheel mount somewhere. Cant wait to place the order - Great products from what I can tell.
That 80/20 aluminum stuff is INSANELY expensive. If it were perhaps 10% of it's actual cost, this would be an awesome and viable material for making an awesome home cockpit.
This is what makes a good company a great company! Show what you have, how it's done and you'll attract customers and investors like moths to a flame! Sweet!! Fabulous video guys, keep up it up!!
I love how this has improved over the years, I cannot wait to get one once I move. Going to have to see if my cat will somehow injure himself on it and if I can prevent it from happening.
I like the very last configuration. Two things though. Firstly, I would use a track ball mouse instead of a regular mouse. Less footprint. Secondly, I would add a side piece with a keyboard attached to it, which can be swung over to the center. Just like what you see in the Gundam Seed animation.
Are you going to eventually offer the center joystick mount and the mouse friendly right hand side table? I am interested in both of these options. What about the sliding keyboard tray? Great work on this flight rig!
Hi and thanks, we already have a center mount. We are planning to build a new version soon and we will of course make a video about it. A right hand armrest only for mouse is planned as well. Cheers Olsen
Those arm-rests are completely in the way of the joystick and throttle! If you plan on cruising in a cargo hauler you'd be fine, but in a dogfight, you really need to have your arms lower on the joystick and throttle. If you add armrests I'd suggest maybe a hinge so you can fold them away from the joysticks.
The good thing is you can adjust them how you like. Need the armrest lower, set them lower. Need the joystick higher? Do it. Every joint of the rig is fully adjustable. Kind regards Olsen
The only critique I have are the sharp edges. Perhaps maybe a rubber grommet or some sort of soft covering at the corners. Otherwise with all the possible adjustments you have, I would buy one.
Very nice job. One possible flaw or minor area to improve; the arm on the right is a bit trapped with a right-mounted stick, and with limited range of motion. Center grip stick arrangement is okay, but normally you wouldn't have that panel there. - This could be improved with a smaller surface area connecting the right desk panel to the aluminum sub-structure. Think of it more as a resting pivot for your right arm than a full desk with full arm support, though you could keep the generous mouse area as-is. Great effort though, and I loved your vid.
I am interested in what you created and would like to know what you would charge to rebuild another frame and could you build it for just under the seat the length that runs from the front of the seat is not necessary.
Be sure to post your newly updated model with center stick and keyboard setup with mouse on the right and left hand joystick mount. This would be perfect for dual stick users and im definitely in the market for a proper flight sim rig.
First off, this is awesome, and I want one. When will they be available for purchase, and how much? And second, let's talk about the awesome on the pictures in the background.
Was wondering if you would be able to make a keyboard mount more to the middle instead of the center joystick and having the joystick at the side. You would be able to perhaps rotate the keyboard into an parallel position behind the post when getting in and out of the desk
Monster Tech thank you for your time in responding and making these videos. I'm attempting something much simpler and less expensive. you give me a better idea on what to look for
Yeah! Just WOW! I want something like this to play Elite Dangerous, MS:FS, X-Plane, Rogue System, and other space/flight sims! -The only this is that I'd want to get an old chair seat and back, and attach it to the aluminum girders so that I'm not sitting on flat plywood.- Oh, never mind. That's an awesome racing seat you put on it! :-) But do you guys realize that by showing how you built this, we can just go to Grainger or Framing Tech to buy extruded aluminum beams and bolts, and go to Sparco to buy a racing seat and build one ourselves? The hardest parts would be the armrests that the throttle and stick mount on, but that can be made out of plywood bolted to the aluminum frame. You'll have to keep your price low on your finished product to get DIYers to buy from you rather than building it themselves...
What is the name/model number of the pivot fixture that you use on the pedal platform? The one that is adjustable with the "teeth" and tension knob. Where do you buy it? I am building my own flight/racing simulator and have all of the parts already, except that one. It looks pretty handy. Thanks and great job on the build! Looks awesome and very comfortable and versatile! Thumbs UP!!
I know this is old but I'm quite curious if rotation engine is possible with this thing. Of course that it involves some software but did you check it out?
Very interesting, good to see the guys who work on the Monstertech configurations. My chair joystick mounts are excellent quality. I am waiting for right side mouse mount and left side thrustmaster joystick plate to complete my gaming chair rig. Well, maybe get center mount later.
I've got a MAXNOMIC Leader chair which has some nice, thick metal plates that extend from the base of the chair to hold the armrests. I've been wondering how I can clamp or mount a telescopic pole to each side and use that to mount my X-56 Rhino HOTAS. I love the desk mounts you guys make but I've been hoping you'd find a universal chair mount solution that might work on some of the larger, studier gaming chairs. That would be ideal for my setup!
We are actually working on a seat mount right now. We are planning to make am office chair base that you can attach a seat to. Maybe you will be able to use the mount part too. May to some time tough. Cheers Olsen
Does this setup support the Thrustmaster 16000m and the TWCS Throttle as well? Didn't see it on the website so I thought I'd ask since the throttle is new.
Got one more question. Can the base part that extends from the seat and holds the foot peddles can be removed, or can you make one without that extension? I use dual sticks, so I have no use for the peddles or the extension.
Moin Jungs, Sehr geil was ihr da wieder zusammengeschraubt habt - weiter so.
very cool!! I'm on the same path. My idea for a keyboard mount is to have it on an articulating arm so it swings in an out to sit down and get up. So it tilts etc etc. but ya hope that helps you. Mmmmm I love it , I want one. Does the seat tilt back as well?
Looks nice. Reminds me of Fisher-Technik ... 😉 But this vrrsion is on steroids ! Can’t wait to see you come up with a full functioning 720° simulator 👍😎
You can do even better by building a wood board that rotates from a mobile support (from the left one as example) and get attached on the fixed one (the other one on the right as example). In this case you'll have the space of a real cockpit being able to mount later a curved LCD/LED panel or a laptop or both on it. That obviously will require a hell of a strong mobile mount. But hey, that' s simply me wondering about an all-in-one solution. The central support could be a Y support with a mobile arm to attach the stick that will move from down (resting position) upward and a fast arm that goes downward to attach the feet rest. Love your work. Next black Friday I' m going to buy an high-end gaming dator and install Star Citizen, that's why I was searching for a gaming chair like yours.
Hi, yeah we are having some delay at the moment because we have to wait on a resupply of parts. Sorry about that. We will ship as soon as we get them in. Cheers Olsen
*Practical for simulating a U. S. Air Force / Lockheed Martin F-22 Alfa.* Similarly to the F-16 formerly built by Consolidated Vultee Division, General Dynamics Corp., the F-22 uses a sidestick for roll and pitch.
Danke.
I see a few things wrong with this build, if a person is to recline the seat, the entire flight seat will fall backwards. Also you should build a keyboard attachment for the center where the flight stick was.
i think i personally would have preffered a wider mouse part as my sense is way too low to use on such a small area. like 15-25cm wider right where the mouse sat.
Fett richtig richtig fett. Ich bin begeistert. :-D
Could you build me one? Minus the seat. Loved your idea for the mouse I was thinking Keyboard on left but tilted up about 30 degrees for easy look and hit.
Well I'm sold, going to try to make a review in this setup when I get my own. Were searching around and couldn't find any. Anywho, can't wait to get my hands dirty with this setup. And I thought theNOOBIFIER1337 could have one review... as a fellow citizen :)
Put some refrigerator with sodas below the seat and some snack...than set it up with hi-end gaming rig with huge monitor, guarantee you won't get off the seat for a week
This is great - I'm curious as to why you guys don't wear masks while drilling/cutting those extrusions. You definitely don't want that aluminum dust in your lungs!
I can't believe it has been 6 years since I wanted your sim and now it is finally on its way. (To start with!) Keep innovating! Love the progression.
can't help but notice those posters on your wall
cant wait to see it with the Thrustmaster rudder petals
Will you have the Bass shaker kit to add on ? Not just the Mount but an actual seat pad perhaps with 6 or 8 transducers ?
Similar to SimRacing Studios. These Haptic pads keep disappearing from he market place.
I am zeroing in on a chair but will want a YOKE and Wheel mount somewhere. Cant wait to place the order - Great products from what I can tell.
Put a keyboard mount in the middle! That would be PERFECT! Something that could swing up and out or something like that.
That is the plan.
That 80/20 aluminum stuff is INSANELY expensive. If it were perhaps 10% of it's actual cost, this would be an awesome and viable material for making an awesome home cockpit.
Sucks for you. I can get it for free. Thats the plus of working trade shows. That shit is everywhere.
This is what makes a good company a great company! Show what you have, how it's done and you'll attract customers and investors like moths to a flame! Sweet!! Fabulous video guys, keep up it up!!
So German, even the girlie pics on the wall are perfectly in alignment :)

Very very good, I really like the choice of materials.
love the calendars :D
Swimsuit girls calendars...... Yeah!!
I love how this has improved over the years, I cannot wait to get one once I move. Going to have to see if my cat will somehow injure himself on it and if I can prevent it from happening.

Fantastic! Love your guys’ prototyping process!! 🤩

Don't tug too hard on your stick.
LOL
thank you for the information I can watch this all day
You are welcome. :) Thanks for watching.
Looking good. Can't wait to see it all kitted out.
Needs a pouch on the back of the seat for a gaming laptop. VR set up. (I'm only at 12:00 so maybe you thought of this)
Are you going to eventually offer the center joystick mount and the mouse friendly right hand side table? I am interested in both of these options. What about the sliding keyboard tray? Great work on this flight rig!
Hi and thanks,
we already have a center mount. We are planning to build a new version soon and we will of course make a video about it. A right hand armrest only for mouse is planned as well.

When will this going be going to sale ?
Those arm-rests are completely in the way of the joystick and throttle! If you plan on cruising in a cargo hauler you'd be fine, but in a dogfight, you really need to have your arms lower on the joystick and throttle.
If you add armrests I'd suggest maybe a hinge so you can fold them away from the joysticks.
The good thing is you can adjust them how you like. Need the armrest lower, set them lower. Need the joystick higher? Do it. Every joint of the rig is fully adjustable.

The only critique I have are the sharp edges. Perhaps maybe a rubber grommet or some sort of soft covering at the corners.
Otherwise with all the possible adjustments you have, I would buy one.
Fantastic job boys!
What pedals did you end up going with?
Thanks, we went with the Slaw Device RX Viper.
Very nice job. One possible flaw or minor area to improve; the arm on the right is a bit trapped with a right-mounted stick, and with limited range of motion. Center grip stick arrangement is okay, but normally you wouldn't have that panel there.

When will a variant with a keyboard in the middle be for sale. Also will the keyboard and mouse be mounted or will I be able to swivel it.
We are working on a sviiwel keyboard mount at the moment.
Cheers
Olsen
Looks good! But what is the length and width of the main base? I'm not sure it will fit my working room :/
The base dimesions are: 117x55,5 cm
Be sure to post your newly updated model with center stick and keyboard setup with mouse on the right and left hand joystick mount. This would be perfect for dual stick users and im definitely in the market for a proper flight sim rig.
As soon as we make an update on the design we will make a new video. Very busy at the moment but we will try to get some time in this week.
Why are the joystick mounts the same price as the rig??
how much for the kit, - the seat and controls, would you do that
19:30 - dat look though. I know what you're saying mate.
LOL!!!
First off, this is awesome, and I want one. When will they be available for purchase, and how much? And second, let's talk about the awesome on the pictures in the background.
Will this be available as an upgrade kit for the racing seat pro?
The sim rig line will be relaunched soon. But for everybody who already has an old sim rig we can make an upgrade kit.
Cheers
Olsen
Has there been an update to simulate. An AirbusA320 for FS2020?
ohh are those new locking clamps ? :D :D
Was wondering if you would be able to make a keyboard mount more to the middle instead of the center joystick and having the joystick at the side. You would be able to perhaps rotate the keyboard into an parallel position behind the post when getting in and out of the desk

Very nice guys! Good job!
Thanks Jon!
Also, what is the size of those struts? Is it 40x40mm or 80x80mm?
Shouldn’t the joystick be between the legs for more realism?
Oh My GOD!
this is so cool everyone there is doing a great job
:)
Hi Noobigirt1337. I got here because of your exelent SC channel. wow

Does this setup support the Thrustmaster 16000m and the TWCS Throttle as well? Didn't see it on the website so I thought I'd ask since the throttle is new.
We should get the new T16000 joystick and throttle this week. We will then make mounting plates as soon as possible.

Please write us an email to info@monstertech.de if you would like to have a custom price for that.

Is it too early for price point and/or delivery date? Looking great as always.
I will have an update with new fotos and a price point in about a week.

I LOVE YOU GUYS !.... just brilliant DYI rigs
This is amazing. Where do you buy the aluminum bars shaped that way from?

Hi, you can find out website at: www.monstertech.de/en/

I ordered my HOTAS holders for 3 weeks and my order is always "In Production". It's normal ?
Hi, yeah we are having some delay at the moment because we have to wait on a resupply of parts. Sorry about that. We will ship as soon as we get them in.
Cheers Olsen
Thanks :)
You know, with those armrests... might be a good idea to add a cupholder for drinks ;) like a beer while shooting down space bogeys ;)
Awesome Video guys. Keep up the good work. Super Qualität. Schön gemacht, hehe :D
Vielen Dank. :)
Ah... extruded aluminum the legos of modern industry. Nice job!
Thanks, these profiles are great.

You can just slide the whole seat mount more to the front. There is a lot of unused leg space. We are working on a keyboard attachment right now.
Ich will sowas

Great video!!
Thanks :)
absolut genial, Männer!
Vielen dank!
I'm looking for this very thing I will keep checking website for when I can order one looks very close to finale design can't wait .
I am working on the english translations at the moment. If you select german on the website the sim rigs are already listed.

i think i personally would have preffered a wider mouse part as my sense is way too low to use on such a small area. like 15-25cm wider right where the mouse sat.
I can't tell if the assemble thing was a short circuit reference
Love it .... well done Fellas ! How Much €£$
This is exactly what I picture germans doing all day, just manufacturing high quality shit out of metal haha
Fett richtig richtig fett. Ich bin begeistert. :-D
Danke. :)
Actually very nice though
Gotta love grownup K'Nex lol
Wow, what I was looking for. I be tuned
Thanks :)
