This sounds delicious! I have a similar recipe but add a small amount a ground beef. I never thought of putting biscuits on top though!!! I am going to try it!! Ty! I love how everything is so accessible in your kitchen!!!!!!
This sounds right up my hubby's alley! Except I think I would add cut up weenies also. He absolutely loves beanie-weenies so I think this would be perfect for that. I would do everything except add the cut up weenies to the bacon and onion mixture maybe the last few minutes just to warm them up. He would LOVE this!!
Colleen, I made your biscuits Friday and I was SOOOOOO HAPPY!! I can actually make them, freeze them and baked them off Saturday and then more yesterday and they rose and baked PERFECTLY!!! We LOVED THEM!!! Can't wait to try the casserole too!! THANK YOU!!! 💕🙏🏼💕
Thrilled to have your biscuit recipe. Will try them this weekend. I agree with another viewer, I will add some hotdogs. My husband will love this. Another winner, Colleen! Thanks!
I have to try your biscuits Colleen they look good. Never heard of that dish before, I think my husband would love it. Thanks for sharing. Stay well and safe.
Looks delicious and I have all the stuff to make it here , btw your haircut looks great noticed on last video. Can you make baked beans from canned navy beans? I wonder if you know. Lately I have been canning my own just plain beans all kinds finding it cheaper to do it myself then buy with the rising costs lately. I would love to see a video like that if you have ever done baked beans that way thank you
The biscuit recipe i've been using for years is the same, except it's minus the honey and adds a half tsp of baking soda. The baking soda reacts with the acid of the buttermilk to give some added lift. I will add some honey, next time I make biscuits. I put drop biscuits on top of pot pies. I add sugar and cinnamon to my biscuit dough, and drop small biscuits on top of my fruit cobblers, dot each with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. I never thought to put them on top of baked beans. I need to try that too.
This is a great recipe! I am new to your channel and am really enjoying it. Thank you for sharing this with us. BTW, What size cans of beans are you using?
Hi, i have been informed that when cutting the biscuits, not to twist the cuuter as it seals the edges and they won't rise as well, no idea if that is true or not. Love your videos as the recipes use regular ingredients rather than stuff you need to run to the store for.
Colleen what happened I thought you always wrote down the recipe in the drop-down box. This looks so good I’m gonna have to make it but I need a recipe.😊
From an American, what is fancy molasses? All I've seen here is molasses and blackstap molasses. Lol don't ask me the difference, I have rarely used it.
Hmm, I had to look that up because I didn't know either. Apparently molasses is boiled. To get black strap it is boiled three times. Fancy molasses comes after boiling once. Black strap is more bitter.

I thought I had the slowest heating oven, lol.

Looks so goid ❤
That looks yummy!! ❤❤

yum!!!!!
If you spray your measuring spoon/cup before adding honey, molasses or any other sticky ingredient; it will slide right off the spoon/cup
Exactly!!

What is the vecteezy website in your memo’s for Miss Colleen?
Thanks from "THE HAT".

😊I like your videos💖
Thank you Kathy!
You don’t want to use sour milk in your biscuits. Buttermilk fresh is sweet and vinegar in milk is sour.
Please tell me how I can stop youtube from unsubscribing me, as I am enjoying your content very much. Thank you from Saint Cloud, Florida
Thats NOT cowboy casserole it baked neans with busquits in top
😋❤️👍

You can make your own brown sugar by adding 1 tablespoon of molasses to 1 cup of white sugar. More molasses will make it darker.
I think if you make your own brown sugar then it won’t get hard
@@wendymccollough156 yes, it doesn’t get hard and tastes so much better. We only make a cup or two at a time.
Like a bare rabbit molasses something you would use in baking
Could you add some cheese and/or chiles to the biscuits?
You certainly could and it would be delicious im sure.
💖💖🙏🙏👍👍🙏🙏💖💖
No, no, no, I have the slowest oven to preheat.
My old oven heated very quickly but this new one not so much.
🥰😋🍜🥓🌺🌺🌺🙏❤
