I’m not able to pull the tabs on cans anymore…so I just use my can opener to take the whole lid off as if it were a regular can. Works great! I’m loving your bread machine dough recipes! Thank you so much!,
My bread machine is busy making the dough for these bread sticks as I watch your video. We'll have them with a baked pasta dish. Thank you so much for expanding my understanding of what I can do with this marvelous machine!
I love watching how you use your bread machine from Illinois. My machine has been put away in a dark place for years, but now I am going to spring it free and try using just the dough setting. Now that I am retired from nursing I want to take more time enjoying cooking.
Here in Ontario our weather is very odd this year. Above freezing temperatures, more rain and hardly any snow. We usually get a good dumping here amongst the Great Lakes. We call it supper here but our kids call it dinner. Everything looks delicious! 💛
Hi Colleen it’s great to visit with you again I love chili I need to make more we love it. I always add peppers and onions to my chili! You are really encouraging me to dig the bread machine out.
I love your channel! I made your brown bread and pizza dough. Well...my 32 year old Zojirushi bread maker kicked the bucket while making the pizza dough..so had to finish in my mixer with dough hook. I bought the bread maker back in 1992! It has been good to me..but I cannot spend 300.00 to 400.00 on a bread maker. So ordered a Hamilton Beach artisan. For 89.00! I got it because of your recommendation. It will arrive tomorrow..first thing I am making are bread sticks! Thank you so much for taking the time to show this 80 year old some new tricks in baking! Oh..the pizza was delicious! Used your rue recipe with chicken. Put onions and bell peppers on..then covered with mozzarella!❤
I love your videos! Like you, I never understand people that don't eat leftovers, but there seem to be more people like that these days. Growing up you just didn't waste food, but now I realized that many foods like chili and soup taste better the next day after the flavors have developed! I grew up in California, but now in the southwest and the midday meal was always referred to as lunch and evening meal was dinner in my family. I serve my chili the same way you do with cheese, sour cream, cilantro and I add sliced avocado. I usually have cornbread or corn muffins, but will give your breadstick recipe a try. Thanks for all the great cooking tips and inspiration.
Thank you for watching and sharing with us. It is always wonderful to hear how we can be different and yet the same. I have never put avocado on chili but I will give it a try. Best wishes, Colleen

I made the breadsticks to go with my chili last night and they were a hit! So wonderful and I made garlic butter to go across the top of them. I told our guests all about you and your channel. Our guests took the rest of them home with them. You are wonderful and I hope you are doing well! ❤
I watched your video earlier today and since I was also making chili, I made the bread sticks and they were the best. Thank you for that recipe. Because of my oven I baked them 2 minutes longer and also turned them half way through cooking time. I found your channel because I have a bread machine and wanted to learn what else I can make with it. Love using the dough setting. Thanks again.
Thank you! My boyfriend is from Iowa. They call the noon meal “ Dinner• I’m from the Suburbs of Chicago. The evening meal was “ Dinner” on the farm, you call lunch “Dinner” or they get confused. To eat more veg, roast them! Cut up fresh veg like broccoli, carrots, onions, etc. Pin a bowl and add a little oil- then add Italian seasoning and roast at 400 degrees until tender. So goodgood!
Thanks for showing another style bread to make from your bread maker. This changed my life. At age 70, I now make bread. Cold and rainy day here in Vicksburg, MS, USA. I spotted a ham bone in the freezer so I’ll make ham and beans for supper. Also spotted dinner roll dough that I forget about. Made that just before Thanksgiving so we’ll have fresh rolls with the soup tonight. One of my favorite recipes you showed was for English muffins. My family loves these. I always make a double batch so I’m prepared to make bacon, eggs and cheese McMuffins when family requests them. Love your channel. Thanks for sharing. 🤗🤗
Hi Colleen from at chilly 45* East Tennessee !! Our weather has been crazy here , 2 weeks ago we had snow and ice , a few days later hard rain a few days then last week temp in the 60* + temps !!! Lol. This chili and bread sticks both look delicious! Tks for sharing . Blessings to you all!
Thank you Bridget, it has been really warm here which makes everyone nervous. We rely on the snow to fill up the water aquifers and to keep the forests from drying out. Hopefully there is more winter ahead of us. Blessings to you and yours! ❤

Thanks for the breadstick recipe. When I make chili for the 2 of us, the first night we eat it over mashed potatoes, the next night in a bowl with garlic toast and fixings on the chili such as cheese, sour cream, green onions, etc. I also use my homemade baked beans in our chili, so good.

Hi Colleen. Love this video too! I wanted to share with you what I started doing with making bread machine items. I discovered that all the dry ingredients fit perfectly into quart size mason jars. So, I have been pre-measuring all the dry ingredients into mason jars. When I want to make bread all I have to do is put the water, eggs, and butter in the bread machine container and add the contents of the mason jar. It's faster with less mess and cleanup. Thanks for sharing all your good recipes!

Put together with Italian dressing. So yummy and full of good vitamins and fiber.
Hi there Just wanted to let you know that I made your chilli and your breadsticks this weekend, and when my husband came home from his long trip , We both sat down and enjoyed the meal 💕 I’m 65 years old and it was my first time making breadsticks , I have so much fun making your recipes since I came across your channel Thank you and don’t stop 💕💕
That's a wonderful meal and so similar to my chili. I had not even considered making bread sticks. Great video. Do you have an English muffin recipe/video?
A northern Alberta gal here and I say Supper.. I got a bread machine for Christmas and so far I've made 2 loaves of bread. Need to find a better recipe as the first loaf hardly rose and the 2nd rose too high and both had tough crusts. Your bread sticks looked wonderful.
I've been enjoying your bread machine videos so much! I've mixed bread and pizza dough with mine so far. I noticed each time when I took the dough out after the dough cycle the top of the dough was dry. Have you had that issue? I thought about brushing a little bit of oil over the dough ball the next time I make it just after it gets mixed up and before the rise.
I tried these the other night. I definitely must of done something wrong. Mine came out a lot stickier and when cooked they were tough. I need to try them again. They looked delicious though.
I’m not able to pull the tabs on cans anymore…so I just use my can opener to take the whole lid off as if it were a regular can. Works great! I’m loving your bread machine dough recipes! Thank you so much!,

I do have a cheese bread in my list if bread machine recipes. I am sure it could work for cheese sticks as well.
Ma’am I just made your breadsticks from this recipe & wow they turned out amazing.

Hi there
Just wanted to let you know that I made your chilli and your breadsticks this weekend, and when my husband came home from his long trip ,
We both sat down and enjoyed the meal 💕
I’m 65 years old and it was my first time making breadsticks , I have so much fun making your recipes since I came across your channel
Thank you and don’t stop 💕💕
Hello, so happy to hear that the videos are useful to you. Best wishes, Colleen
Thank you good video
That's a wonderful meal and so similar to my chili. I had not even considered making bread sticks. Great video. Do you have an English muffin recipe/video?
Yes, I certainly do. You can find it on my channel. Best wishes, Colleen
Thank you this looks delicious 🙏🏻❤️🌹
Love your recipes.
Thank you!
A northern Alberta gal here and I say Supper.. I got a bread machine for Christmas and so far I've made 2 loaves of bread. Need to find a better recipe as the first loaf hardly rose and the 2nd rose too high and both had tough crusts. Your bread sticks looked wonderful.
Thank you, Check out some of my other videos for good bread recipes. Good to hear from a fellow Canadian. Cheers, Colleen
I have used olive oil in a spray bottle to just mist the top after the first 10 minutes when it starts to rest.
@@oursilvermoments6028 thank you, I will try that
I tried these the other night. I definitely must of done something wrong. Mine came out a lot stickier and when cooked they were tough. I need to try them again. They looked delicious though.
Hi Cindy, did you use bread flour or all purpose?
@@oursilvermoments6028 I used bread flour.
