Literally been 2 years with this headset didn't know why it didn't work until I read comment about plugging it in really hard... yep that's all it needed 😑
You just fixed my problem for me. Thank you! All it took is one comment and a plug in take #2 and magical audio started flowing through both ears instantly. And loudly.

I understand you mate, the first time I bought these headphones that happened to me and I even returned them to Walmart for new ones because I thought they were damaged. To my surprise, the new ones they gave me also had the problem, so I asked about the forums and I had this face "💀" when I read that I just had to connect the cable tightly.
Oh, to the controller...Was wondering why my console didn't have an audio jack.
Literally most issues are solves by plugging in the correct end FIRMLY. You should hear a distinct snap
If you go to settings go to general volume and audio output go to additional options and go to chat mixer and click do nothing and it might work

Don't forget to mention with Dolby you will need to download it and pay the 12 bucks for it to even work
If it’s still not coming from both sides make sure you plug the wire at the top by the mic goos

Just got my son a pair for Christmas. Audio comes through smooth. But no one can hear him talking. Never had this issue before

OK everything works but the microphone why
We’re perfectly fine a couple hours ago but now no one can hear my audio despite my microphone clearly monitoring, I’ve tried updating the controller and various other things. The headsets aren’t even a 7 months old so I know they aren’t broken
Did u fix this? My main issue is the mic decides to work sometimes and not others for other ppl to be able to hear me. And I'm pretty sure I've plugged the wire into the headset as hard as possible
@@trystan2102 my dumbass muted the the mic on the Xbox lol but I updated my controller and restarted my Xbox. That might work for u

@@yoitsalex12 You basically have to switch the audio format, reset the console, and switch it back which resets your audio to your whole console, do this with the headset not plugged in then set it up again after. Also, I messed with the audio settings to the controller/accessories a lot.

U not really suppose to hear urself and if u don’t know if it’s on join a friend and talk to him and ask if he can hear you

I just got this headset today for my Xbox and was super excited because of the good reviews and overall style of the headset. I was so disappointed to find that the mic was terrible! It doesn’t pick up on my voice even if I speak loudly, but will pick up on noise if I touch the mic directly??? Is there any way to fix this, if not I’m going to have to return :(
Honestly u got unlucky my shit has been amazing i had the issue of my mic being low but i had the issue of it being low but the only thing wrong was that i didnt plug in the wire to the headset completely

Press the Xbox button. Go to Parties & chats. Start a party. Go down to options. Go to Audio Settings. Turn Headset Volume all the way up.

Mic doesn’t work and yes I’ve tried shoving the wire in more and yes I’ve made sure all my settings were right with my audio up and made sure my mic wasn’t muted but I can hear just fine
You need a new cord I switch my brothers cord with mine and the headset itself works fine and I can talk now

If im using the ps4 headset for a10 eith my xbox series S will it still work?
The audio is so low even with the volume rocker is all the way up, you can barely hear anything. And sometimes the headset works and other times you have to take it out and plug it back in a few times until you get sound. Very disappointing.

I fixed the way you fix it is make sure when you put the cable into the headset is all the way in not half if that doesn’t work then I don’t know

One side went out recently. Tried all the methods. Noticed the sound keeps going in and out when I flip the mic down. Contacting support but seems like no help. 😡

The mic isn't working and I literally the first time I used this product.
Edit: Fixed it. The plugin on the headphones appears to be in all the way but wasn't. You have to push really hard to get it in.

Honesty I don’t know if it’s just mine but when I try to plug the side nearest to the sound thing on on the mic to the headset I can’t plug it in all the way due to something on the metal part of the cord so my sound it really weird

I bought A40’s and the mike didn’t work. Tried updating software (why the hell something brand new doesn’t come updated still confuses me). Still no luck. Sent back to amazon. Astro is going down hill real fast. Very disappointed! And I’ve been using them since xbox 360. Time to switch brands i guess

Make sure that you have plugged it in good because it might seem like they are plugged into the headset but you might still need to push it in more then both sides will work

Make sure your volume is up and make sure the cable is all the way into the headset that’s what I did and it worked
