While there's no doubt Russia can design some pretty awesome aircraft.....the question is can they produce them in sufficient quantities to be a threat....and what will the U.S. be deploying by the time they do. Despite our decadent lazy capitalist ways.....we don't just sit on our asses and call it a day. Working on 6th generation aircraft now with an eye towards 7th generation systems and having deployed 5th generation aircraft already we're not overly concerned. I can easily design a interplanetary battle cruiser .....but producing and getting it into space is quite another matter. Never the less.....love your work and the vid.
I would be surprised if this enters service. If anything I would expect more MiG-35's. The US used to have a world height record achieved with a modified F-104 Starfighter. The F-104 got so high that the control surfaces weren't very effective. The F-104 had to use attitude adjustment jets using pressurized gas.
Look at all the concept projects all around the world, all promising what can't be delivered. That is what this is, a dreamer project that will never make it to operational status.
I guess that for now Russia is investing heavily in the SU-57 because they want to have a superb 5th generation fighter, but at the same time, it is used as a testbed for advanced technologies that would make it a 6th generation fighter. Something like a SU-60. Regarding the Mig-41, I think the economy will have the last word
@@lordtemplar9274 russia doesn’t use old engines Russia has the best engines and there ahead of America by a lot and that’s the first thing they do in a jet make the engine
I see nothing that can propel this thing in the vacuum of space. No oxygen = no jet fuel burning. Even if you could, there's no air for the intake. That's only the start of problems. You'd need some kind of scattered thrusters, or at least some serious rocket based thrust vectoring.
No, I think the Russians want a aircraft to scrap the to of the atmosphere and exceed mach 5 cruising speed. Deploy hypersonic interceptor missiles against high end fighters and bombers as well destroy RVs in ascent phase. Before they can go up to 20 times the speed of sound in decent phase. Also this prospective complex for long range interception would have a anti-satellite mission in it's unmanned version.
I can assure you, the US is not worried. We're not underestimating this aircraft, but we will be just fine. Not a real threat compared to what we have haha oh, and what we're going to have :)
Welcome Dung Tran
I love this design!
Fascinating stuff, thanks🙏🏻

Still a cool one tho but Americans would counterpart it tho with the navy's F/AA_XX programm

Maybe finish the SU57 first?
They did back in 2019

Mikoyan and sukhoi are different companies right
Please dont ask idiotic questions, just use google.
Not exactly, since 2006 they have both been part of United Aircraft Corporation.
@@davidste60 still different design buraus for aircraft and aviation, but brought under one roof to share technologies. United aircraft corporation.
Cool thank you.
Interesting, but whether the sixth generation should have a different engine than the fifth

Its was MiG-47
Russian love 47
The Russians builds these jest like tanks
The Russians have a talent of proving people wrong, I think they will develop and fly this fighter jet before 2027.

MIG41 looks like a Fish
F/A 37... mic drop. Keep making toys China
Could Russia develop the Mig out of the film fire fox with a plane travelling at Mach 6. This could frighten the west include China.
It may never exist.. another Russian broke dream.
Apparently this super plane is being designed on windows 98 using Microsoft paint. Good luck russia.

Nope it cannot even Compare to the us navy's F/AA-XX programm Russian fanboys
Yes, they "will have" while the USA "has" it already. Better if Russia invests more in its Space Agency.
