I do my brakes (Rotors and pads)a couple of months ago with OEM parts buy at Z1 motorsports. I hope the OEM parts will stay available for more years for the VQ platform (370Z)👍🏽
I couldn’t get the lower bolt of the caliper Bracket to move freely like the top one when placing the caliper back on. Am I cooked. Do I need a new rotor or pad size.
See this is the difference between you doing ur own car instead of a stranger doing it .. I mean after you removed the rotor, wouldn’t be the end of the world if you had clean that rust little with a brush of some break cleaner before putting the new rotors but thank you anyways

Gonna attempt my rear brakes this weekend. Feelin a bit better about it after watching videos and realizing it is basically 4 bolts. Lol
Nice video, but I am surprised you didn’t clean or grease the slide bolts or change the pad sliders.
did/do you use 1/2 or 3/8 socket size?

Maybe you cross threaded it
Not bad for your first time.
You didn’t bleed the brakes
*Promosm* 😊

After watching this video, I am confident enough to say that I am happy to take my G to a professional shop & have them do this for me🥲
