Rejected Update: Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic game style. You cannot stomp on enemies and you can only defeat them by throwing objects at them. (Just like the SMB2 Mushroom!) Also, the Super Star theme is the Arabian music taken from the said game. There are also some course elements exclusive to this game style: veggies, grass, Shy Guys (replacing Goombas), the Magic Lamp, cherries (replacing the coins) heads of the player being controlled (replacing 1-UP Mushrooms), Mamu (whose name was changed the Wart in SMB2, replacing Bowser) etc.
Rejected Uptade ideas : The *W I D E* mushroom the wide mushroom makes mario wide (3-5 blocks i guess) and makes mario destroy everything underneath him when he jumps, just like the big mushroom. this also makes the screen "wide" and disables running. the wide music also plays of course. The BLJ (A.K.A. Backward Long Jump). Mario can do a BLJ to go super fast (just like the glitch) but he goes too fast that the camera cant follow him and so he can die because of an enemy or a pit. The Explosion mushroom. it looks like a regular mushroom but makes mario explode instantly.
Homing Enemies: All enemies in the level start floating towards you at fast speeds! This also works with items, too. Just Imagine, Homing Skewers, homing bowser, and even homing ground!

Now, we are introducing the ON/OFF auto-scroller. When starting the level, the auto-scroller would be very slow, but if you press an ON/OFF switch in the course, the scroller is going to be really fast.
Rejected update idea: anything bros. They can throw everything even stacked enemies. We know little Timmy would love putting a bunch of these guys everywhere in the level throwing huge stacked bowsers, skewers, and banzai bills.

Giga Mushroom (all styles) Makes you grow big, has a red color with yellow spots, when the power up is working you can break everything in your path and if you ground pound it will take you to a 2nd sub world of your choice.
My idea for the scissors power up originated from an idea for a baldi oc that I had. The character was a student who “say I’m carrying too much stuff” and then gives you one of the items that they’re holding, and one of those items were scissors that disabled you from sprinting.

Make sure to grab enough or you’ll die of UV radiation!
Rejected Update: Mega Flower. It’s a giant flower that when you touch it, it burns everything on screen except you! It 1-shots all enemies on screen, including the Angry Sun! And another variant is the Mega Flower Chicken! (MFC: You become a giant chicken and all enemies just kill themselves!)

Idea: tar bros, throw globs of tar at you that slow you down, and you need to rapidly jump to escape, or burn it with a fireball. Pike bros, uses pike to attack you with pokes, overhead swings, throwing their pike, and pole vaulting at you. Bruiser bros, uses their fists to punch the crap out of you, and blow ranged attacks, plus have a charge attack to close the distance.
Rejected Update: Amibo’s Return and every single amiibo has an ability. Example: if you use the sonic amiibo you can run so fast that you can stop time. And if you use the Donkey kong amiibo you can spawn diddy Kong at your side. And if you use the amiibo you get a new style like green hill zone. Or The space ship from star fox!

Rejected update: Removing features to re-release them later as paid DLC. Eventually the game will just become Mario Maker 1. Don’t worry, you’ll never know which features they will remove each day, so have fun! Once all the new features are removed, you’ll get the new ones back slowly by paying only 99.99! Isn’t that cool?
Rejected update: The Kirby power-up. It allows you to suck up enimies to get there abilities. And of course,you become Kirby :)
Rejected update: micro-bros! These scoundrels are so small that they cant me seen unless you are micro mario! But, they still pack a huge punch. Imagine how many more little timmy can do with this new addition.
Rejected Update: Hypernova Kirby from Kirby: Triple Deluxe. He acts like a sideways twister and you can’t escape his inhale. Or maybe, just Kirby in general. He could use Super Abilities, Robobot, or Mouthful Mode…or he could become Sleep Kirby. The possibilities are endless, just like Kirby’s lifespan!

We know that video games are becoming more and more realistic so we’re introducing a new mechanic for that lovable angry sun! Everyone knows that you could get sunburned if you stay out in the sun for too long without protection, so that’s what the sunscreen power-up is for! Make sure to grab enough or you’ll die of UV radiation!

Rejected Update: Mega Flower. It’s a giant flower that when you touch it, it burns everything on screen except you! It 1-shots all enemies on screen, including the Angry Sun! And another variant is the Mega Flower Chicken! (MFC: You become a giant chicken and all enemies just kill themselves!)

Using a new option in the level editor, gravity can now be placed to the right (270 Degrees) & Left (90 Degrees) of the screen, making levels much more interesting.
EXTRA NOTE: In the menu, options for normal & upside down (180 Degrees) gravity will also be present

Rejected Update: You guys thought we ran out of thwomp ideas, then let me tell you about the Swirl Thwomp! Whenever this Thwomp sees you, it will spin in a spiral that continually gets bigger as the Thwomp moves. And because of the high speeds it goes at, it will destroy everything it hits.
So a better version of Power Stone from Megaman 5?
Rejected Update: A new character Wario is joining Mario and friends. Wario can only jump 2 blocks rather than 4 and Wario is only half as fast. When wario eats a power up he doesn't gain the ability and only fart which can stun enemies.
Reject update: screaming bros: these kind of bros will scream until Mario’s ears blow and will not let you play F̾O̾R̾E̾V̾E̾R̾ even when you reinstall it

Rejected Update: Since everyone loved the lego mario so much and isn't creepy at all. We're adding lego mario! It will hang around in the background, but you can step on it's head to turn it off! It won't jump-scare you at all!
Rejected update: costumes! Dress mario up like a princess, a cow, a skeleton, ect. Also you can make it so that mario can only beat a level if he wears a certain costume.

Rejected update:the garlic power-up! There’s a 50-50 chance you will turn into Wario, and there’s a 50-50 chance you would get bad breath, and if you get bad breath, every enemy that comes near you will pass out because of the bad smell. It’s op and not at the same time.
Rejected update: The Tele-shroom!
Mario carries around a powerful mushroom. One bite can teleport Mario forward! It can be nibbled infinitely, so don’t worry about your teleportation running out.
Pressing the run button will teleport Mario in the desired direction, and teleporting into an enemy will instantly kill them!
However, there are a few catches:
You only teleport a certain distance
Teleporting into a solid block will kill you
Mario cannot consume other power ups, do to the inexplicable side effects of teleportation
Rejected update: A new game style will be added, Super Mario Bros 2 (The lost levels)! It’s just the mario one mode, but you have to make the level extremely frustrating. If you don’t, then the level will automatically reset.
Rejected updated: just like you can combine enemies. You can also combine gizmos like the spike bumper wich is a 1/3 chance to get killed
New powerup: The Dr. Pepper!
When you drink it, your speed increases by 3x! This definitely won't be hard to control!
Rejected Update: Rick Roll Power-up - If you get a rickroll mushroom, Mario transforms to Rick Astley dancing on 1987. It has the Rick's features like: Moving on the left, moving on the right, spin jump, normal jump, and rickrolling and dancing. There are so many possibilities.
Big skewers are one of those things that should've been in SMM2 as they appeared in other titles like NSMBW. They're honestly a cool edition
Rejected Update: Better Power-Ups such as the Inferno Flower which makes you burn everything you touch, even the flag pole, the Ultra Ball Flower which make the Bouncing Balls bigger but also heavier so they don’t go far, and the Power Blimp which turns Mario into a blimp making him take up half of the screen. Idea: tar bros, throw globs of tar at you that slow you down, and you need to rapidly jump to escape, or burn it with a fireball. Pike bros, uses pike to attack you with pokes, overhead swings, throwing their pike, and pole vaulting at you. Bruiser bros, uses their fists to punch the crap out of you, and blow ranged attacks, plus have a charge attack to close the distance.

Rejected Update: Amibo’s Return and every single amiibo has an ability. Example: if you use the sonic amiibo you can run so fast that you can stop time. And if you use the Donkey kong amiibo you can spawn diddy Kong at your side. And if you use the amiibo you get a new style like green hill zone. Or The space ship from star fox!

Rejected update: the Magnet Mushroom. When you get this power up, Every coin, power up, and enemy will come to you. Even bullet bills.
Rejected update: Snake power-up; When you get it, Mario's movement is fully changed! His body will stretch based on the key you press, and you can't walk or jump! When a Goomba is going to get you, just crush him with your head!
Update: We've done everything to not get you out of a level until you clear it. However, now people are selling their switches! So now when you sell your switch, it will get immediately refunded.
