Immediately recognized Predjama Castle! Was there as part of my slovenia vacation too, and it's truly one of the most unique castles ever! Have also been to the other caves you mentioned! How small the world is.

Topside average temperature is: 105 degrees. The Black Mesa facility is maintained at a pleasant 90 degrees.

I remember playing this map but never knew it was from an actual place. I love when map makers base maps off of specific real life places. It's an amazing piece of work by Yanzl, he can be proud :)

I miss Castle so fuckin much, I used to get a teammate to boost me onto the boxes on A site and I'd sit waaaay up there and no one would see me as they planted, I'd just silently tap the planter every time and they'd never figure me out.

Honestly, your videos are always amazing but what I find even more beautiful is your choice of music. Every video has the same chill ambient music. But that part in the cave, honestly amazing choice of audio there.
As a Slovenian I can tell you that Slovenia need way more exposure to other countries because it’s nature is just stunning.

This video was fascinating! I love seeing the deep dive both into real life architecture as well as into the map making process. Also your narration is as always, spot on.
I wonder however if a few items (like the cannon or tapestries) were moved between the time that the map author visited and the time you visited. That would explain his knowledge of the secret door and a few other things.
Anyways, great video as always! Keep up the good work.

This map was one of the first I ever played getting into CS when I was playing it at my friends house. I can still remember getting my first ever Deagle 4K and clutching out the round for the CTs.
wtf! I actually went to both these places and they were amazing. Since we went in the summer we actually got to go up these stairs and into the bathroom. at the top of these stairs, there is the hole you could see from outside in the cliff face. pretty sick place :D nice video btw (the cave really was more amazing in rl then in the vid)

Flying around Europe really isn't that expensive and Slovenia is a pretty cheap country to visit. Most people with a job in a western country would probably be able to afford the trip, if they wanted to priorities it.

When this map was released, it was truly my favourite map. I played it almost everyday, graphic design and gameplay was on very good level.
Such a shame that this map is no longer in competitive or in any kind of event like other maps.

I visited this castle too. Did you know that the kitchen was the last one in cave because of the risk of fire? And you didn't mention that Jakie Chan had an accident and injured himself during a scene

Having recently visited Slovenia, I've been to both the Predjamski Grad (the castle) and Postojnska Jama (the caves) and I had no idea that there was a CS:GO map around them. It's unfortunate that I couldn't see the resemblances there, but now that I see the video, the creator of the map did an astonishing work with recreating both the castle and the caves. Thanks for doing this video to show the similarities between them, and also for giving me flashbacks to the time I spent there. Also, I couldn't actually see the inside of the castle, so that was a plus as well. Once again, thanks for this video
