Solid day’s work, this! A fun watch after a stir-crazy past 3 weeks healing up an OTB couple of broken ribs. Thanks for posting and keeping at least one subscriber sane!
i incorporate NS style features into most of my projects where i can but during the planning phase everything is about natural features, rolling grade dips and contouring to achieve maximum mileage and sustainability with minimal armoring, i sneak skinnies in to "avoid sensitive wet areas" and the land managers love it but they hate the perceived liability so i have to follow rules about hand rails on anything over two feet high. We've put in double black diamond downhills but most riders gravitate to flow trails like what you're riding from the 13:40 point on
Thank you for diligently capturing the wonderful scenery of the North American forests and your leisurely and impressive riding with friends. Of course, all the other riders are great, but your videos are specially easy-going and comfortable to watch and listen to. 🪵🌲🪵🌲🪨🌲
Man I love the trails that you ride. Give me BC tech over A-line any day. I appreciate you, Dave! You gave me plenty of motivation to get outside this year when I was feeling low.
Great riding, great trails, excellent all round quality, It makes my day when you post a new video, I've done a bit on mount Fromme, about 15 years ago, this bought back some magical memories. Thanks again.
These trails look so amazing - love that one trail even goes through that rotted out tree stump... Awesome creativity, even if the paths seem a bit tricky to follow sometimes...
You seemed like you were right on the edge of tumbling so many times. Great riding. It is crazy when those insane skinnies are the part where you can take a breather.
Wow, sooo nasty. It's been really wet here the last few weeks and we had some snow today...this kind of riding really teaches you to plan your braking carefully and you do it well sir. Thank you.
Super impressive stuff as always. Are you gonna do any XC racing on that Revolver? I could see some BC Bike Race shredding from you (also, it would make fantastic content).
That was the intention actually, finally get into racing more seriously (not necessarily BCBR, that's a pricey one!). We'll see what my head thinks after this off-season haha. 🙂
I watched the video first and then read the description. Couldn’t figure out what was causing all your uncertainty. New trails? Wet roots? While those probably played a role, I now see from the description it was your first ride on the Revolver. It was kind of fun seeing you a little hesitant (that’s my envy creeping in!). When was this? Februaryish?
This is the most f'ed janked up trail I have ever seen. Wtf is even happening?!?!? Looks like so much fun and absolutely terrifying at the same time. Thank god you have those 300mm travel front and back, right?
Know you said this was your first ride on the Revolver, and you made it down OK, but It's hard when you have to actually be the pilot 100% of the time and make the bike do what you want ;-) Expect that you've upgraded to 180 F&R and have a DHF F/Rekon R now for the newly rebuilt version. Great riding BTW, looked super fun. 10:31 yes it is, or at least it's sposed to be and sposed to give you a bit of a pucker. Just companies saw a market to make people feel more capable and started designing and selling these modern monster trucks with DH angles and now everyone feels like a hero bashing down what once were super challenging trails and complaining when they get a bit tight or slow technical.
:-\ You're a funny guy :-pp 180/180 rotors of course :-p And NO, I don't think it's great where bikes and geo are today, they're like e-bikes, people thinking that it's them that's doing the stuff, when in fact it's more like 70% the bike. Bike geo was good about 4 years ago, a Trail bike had 120-140 travel, 66-68* HTA,
Btw, I was in Tofino for a week and just got back. Since I was on holiday with the fam, I wasn’t too bent out of shape by no Sunday post last week. But don’t make a habit of it!!!
Between frame geometry, material science and engineering, suspension linkage and component design, and wheel sizes, I wonder if a 120mm bike today can out perform a 160mm from 2011? E.g. 2021 Norco Revolver vs 2011 Norco Range 1
It really brightens my day when Dale posts
*most Sundays, hopefully. 😊

😯 heal up!
On it!
Classic north shore gnar boys! Love to see the old trails getting some love! The one dislike so far from a hater who can’t ride skinny’s!
Great how you pick your lines, you must know the trails well.

Thank you Jimny!
Man the stuff you ride! impressive and scary in equal proportion
Just another day of sick riding from Dale and the bois, always makes me happy to see.
Here comes Dave again…he does it!
Man I love the trails that you ride. Give me BC tech over A-line any day. I appreciate you, Dave! You gave me plenty of motivation to get outside this year when I was feeling low.
Greasy log at 4:12
Dale: That’s disgusting, walks bike over it
Dave: Hold my beer 😂

I love your attitude on the bike, really shows how stoked to ride you are!
I wish we had trails like this in Near NYC. Whoever gets to ride these trials is super lucky!
Another awesome D&D ride,love it !
I have commented on it before, but it still amazes me every video. The sound quality in your videos is just exceptional!
These trails look so amazing - love that one trail even goes through that rotted out tree stump... Awesome creativity, even if the paths seem a bit tricky to follow sometimes...
Holy smokes Digger is super gnarly!
You seemed like you were right on the edge of tumbling so many times. Great riding. It is crazy when those insane skinnies are the part where you can take a breather.
Forget church. Sunday morning = Dale Stone. 🤣
Great riding Dale! Those aren't trails that an XC bike would favour, but you make it look easy.
Some spots i can't tell where the damn trail is going! 😆 🤣
Respect on being able to ride skinny’s so well and fast. I know I sure can’t do that, and keep up the great content
Holy Jankiness! That woke me up 😅
Another great quality video,
Well done mate
On the xc bike too... damn... Nice
At 5:10 I was saying, "damn, that dude can track stand like no one!!!" but yeah, his handlebar was on the tree!
Dave is still probably the trackstand master!
So that looked crazy! Nice work
what crisp footage

U cant ride north shore on a xc bike
Dale: hold my IPA🤣🤙
Sick
Hold my stout! 😉

More accurate indeed. 👁️👃👁️
This is amazing stuff
The amount of airtime you get at 7:00 caught me off-guard. Looked like you sprouted wings there for a second lol
You and me both. 🙈
Was waiting for you to hit the wee popper tablet @14:54, it's 🤌🤌🤌
WOW another difficult trail but you are MTB MAESTRO :)
Super impressive stuff as always. Are you gonna do any XC racing on that Revolver? I could see some BC Bike Race shredding from you (also, it would make fantastic content).

Amazing footage Dale and also dope riding 🤘🔥
hi i wanted to say that i enjoy your content and loads of other people do to so keep the good work up :)
How can people dislike this video? I realy wonder what did they expect when they click on the video and disliked it.
Super ride 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷👍
Whoa! Nice one

Haha yeah, February or March I believe. But wet roots certainly played a gigantic part!
Pants? I see you're wearing the formal attire today ;)
This is the most f'ed janked up trail I have ever seen. Wtf is even happening?!?!? Looks like so much fun and absolutely terrifying at the same time. Thank god you have those 300mm travel front and back, right?
Haha, 100/100 is all ya need. 🙂
Ok... So you now need to try it on a gravel bike 🤔😉
Put a 200mm dropper on and I'm game. 😅
That chammy must be pretty worned out after this one... 😂👌
Wooooo Sik ride dale
I broke my wrist on that log drop on lower crippler U_U
One day I'll do these
Super!!!
Как всегда класс!!!О таком парке только мечтать,у нас вообще нет никакого!!!Что говорить где вы живёте и где мы😔😔😔👍👍👍👍
ура брат! 🍻
Can you do a house tour or a garage tour with all your bikes?
I would need to acquire more furniture first so the internet won't judge me.

A 180/180 Revolver, that's an idea I could get behind! Definitely a good thing that bikes have become more capable than ever haha.
:-\ You're a funny guy :-pp 180/180 rotors of course :-p

😂 I will try my best, but it's tough over the winter months haha. Hope you had a good trip!
new bike!
I don't think I heard a bell this video. Guess I'll have to go watch a previous one to get my fix.
Correct answer. 😘
I actually just bought a second bell specifically for this bike. Will definitely be making its way on!

One some trails there is no substitute for sheer travel, but in general I suspect it would!
Fucc yeaaa, 60fps :3
Were you running stock tires, or something a little more shore worthy?
Vitoria Agarro front, Ikon back!
Nice bike! No ding ding?
No second bell when this was filmed, it's getting installed!
this trail was hard to see there is the trail lol
North Shore is too soggy for Trial by Fire Dale, you know that :)
Touché...
7:04 🐦
Nice gloves.
What bike is that ?
Norco Revolver
@@natezab5598 Sick bike , tnx
Firssstttttt, love the vids👍
That Upper Digger looks horrible. Should make it like Lower Digger to take some of the traffic off Expresso :)
No!!!
Just mind Dave at 3:16
