Ambrosia are remembered most nowadays for their later, more pop-oriented hits from the late 70’s and early 80’s. But their early albums were much more progressive rock-oriented. This track was from their debut album, and they’re definitely worth a deep dive. Amazing musicians and vocalists! ❤
In the early 70's this song ran through my head over and over again. It took me quite a while to realize this was from Ambrosia! David Pack's voice is stellar!
A fabulous band you will not be disappointed in looking into. They had numerous hits and I think they are still touring. Glad you are exploring the old classics of my youth. Enjoy your perspective.
Great analysis. This ding is a huge gem from David Oack and Ambrosia. One of my favorites from them. I think you can hear the Alan Parsons inuence on this track .
@@betseyr.9081 I'm pretty sure the first one was also. I heard David Pack in an interview talking about how he called Abbey Road studios and Alan Parsons picked up the phone.
One of the best bands ever!! Fixed that for you. Only 5 albums from the original lineup, but they were excellent. David Pack has the voice of an angel. Saw them in a tiny venue back in 1980. 💙💙🔥🔥 Ambrosia also performed with Alan Parsons on his first album, "Tales of Mystery and Imagination: Edgar Allen Poe". David Pack also does lead and backup vocals on some of Alan Parsons other albums. Joe Puerta, guitar and vocals, went on to work with Bruce Hornsby and the Range. Ambrosia reformed without David Pack in later years and they were still performing in CA fairly recently.
Super Fabulous choice! Great Reaction! If you haven't yet, I really believe you will like, "Atlantic Rhythm Section" - "Imaginary Lover" it is really a good groove. This song brings so many memories, I cry every time. Such beauty and truth in it.
You have got to go down the Ambrosia rabbit hole bud. Find those live ones too like in the Midnight Special. They are way underrated...there I said it...I know it's a cliché... but they got some really good music and some of it climbed way up in the charts. The lead singer plays the lead guitar as well.
The bands first 2 albums are the best IMO and very prog. This song is off the debut album and there is NOT a bad track on it, follow this up with “Drink of Water”, it is a masterpiece and will blow your mind.
You need to go down this rabbit hole. I last saw them 9/29/18. Most members there at The Kent Stage. Orleans opened. I prefer their earlier stuff with Alan Parsons. There's not one song I can't appreciate.
I'm 63 years old, and I grew up listening to this kind of music. The 70s were an awesome time in music.

#AMBROSIA.....pure magic!

This song is beyond MAGICAL ! Thank you ❤
Some of the best vocals ever, great musicianship, and the lyrics really get me. Glad YOU loved it so much too, man.
Ambrosia has been around for a long time. I remember them growing up
"Somewhere I've Never Traveled " is a MUST!!! ❤❤
This song is tight! They were great live! ✌️❤️🤟🥁
I had forgotten this song...what a great track!! Spot on reaction! 👍
Yes! One of the best songs ever!!!
Great sound from my youth I can listen to over and over! Love that you don’t talk over the music and wait to give us your opinion. Have subscribed!💞

Another of the great Classic Rock groups that produced some seriously good stuff. Nice addition to your Playlist.

❤ LOVE AMBROSIA ❤

The strings sound like they are crying....love it!
i love the ending of the song.
Brilliant. My favourite by them and a go to in my playlists. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the reaction.
Their first album, engineered by Alan Parsons.
Their second album, “Somewhere I Never Travelled” (1976) was produced by Alan Parsons.
@@betseyr.9081 I'm pretty sure the first one was also. I heard David Pack in an interview talking about how he called Abbey Road studios and Alan Parsons picked up the phone.
Alan was also producing Al Stewart at this time .
Love this song so much. First time I heard it back in the '70s, I had to rush out and buy the album.
I've been listening to them all day and then I stumble across this
synchronicity (and i don't mean the album, just things sometimes totally aligning).
More Ambrosia they have multiple hits and are all top quality
Love it sir! One of my favorite deep tracks of theirs is Livin' On My Own, straight fire!
Great reaction to a great song. Thx
this was always one of my favorites!

How Much I Feel- Biggest Part of Me- You’re the only Woman
None of their pop rock mainstream songs can even begin to touch this.
I don't know it I'd go as far as 'best song ever', but this is certainly their best. Nice upload.
brilliant You are correct sir
Was cruising in my 72 Plymouth Satellite a while back. AM radio. This came on. Very fitting.😊
Thank you.
In my all time top ten.
Great song great band
Music of yesteryear is light years ahead of today's trash.
Am 32 and I agree!
Saw them at the Texas jam Dallas cotton bowl. 1978. Cheech and Chong was there also.
Love everything Ambrosia does💕
Updated blue eyed soul.
Masterpiece bro !!!
Keep em coming !

Ambrosia.....nice one JM ☘️
You need to check them out. I found a clip of them live on here? Sounded just as amazing as album cuts.
This is definitely their best, and their earlier work is better, at least for me. Keep up the good job. I enjoy your reactions.

1975, and Timeless.
Nothing as expensive as regret
👍
I know i'm in the minority but I put this album right up against Fleetwood Mac ,Rumors

I saw them with the Doobie Brothers and Huey Lewis at Mountain Aire '80.
Agree, the first two albums should be heard by anyone who wants to hear seriously great prog from the 70’s!
did you try their other hits? You might like!!!
@JMBOYTV Please do their hit “How Much I Feel” next! 🙂
