Probably nobody cares, but I'm gonna share a personal experience: When i was young, I used to live in an old house by the mountains just outside of Mexico City. I remember staying up late playing Wii games with my brother and sometimes, when he'd go to sleep and I was left alone, I'd just stare through the window and into the mountains into a blinking light, which was a telecommunications anthena. I remember feeling so lonely everytime I did so, as if I was the only person in the whole world who was experiencing that moment, but it was so heartwarming at the same time. Then I moved away from that house. Now, 10 years later, I have returned to the same old house, and I can stare into the same old blinking light while I listen to this; it really doesn't feel any different despite the years. Thank you for bringing back so many memories!
Someone once said this is another Wii video: If you start to lose interest in a console or something you had for a long time, don’t sell it. Don’t throw it away. Keep it in a place safe and sound until you want to look back at those times.
It hurts to remember a time you will never see or experience again, the nostalgia floods back and you feel like you can't move, frozen by the music that is giving you comfort. That comfort you once felt when you were making memories... you realize it's all gone now, you said your final goodbyes but dont cry young one. You still have a world of discoveries, you will make your own family to fulfill that hole in your heart but you will always feel that loss, nothing will ever fill that hole again. This is when you learn to accept who you are, pick up where you left off and continue your life. Nothing will be perfect, no one is here forever, and not will everything last.
These are the exact feeling that I have now. During the 1st lockdown cause I was bored, or hit by a bit of nostalgia, I modified my Wii and the first thing I did was to install Riiconnect24. After installing and opened one of the channels, listening to that music and watching the channels work again made me feel really nostalgic. To be honest, I've never gotten to experience the Wii at it's fullest, but I've been able to make most out of what I knew and had at the time when I was too young to know what the Wii had to offer. Im also guessing by the time I started with the Wii the Wii U was already out and I was in elementary school. I only had a one time experience with the Wii U with a friend now their gone. Thats not the focus but anyway I always loved messing with the news channel and every other channel. Listening to the banner music and the music in the channels and other stuff I could toy around with. This was my favorite. Now that I'm older. . . It feels like I abandoned it somehow for something that doesnt bring much to table of what i hoped for. My hopes was let down. Til I found this song and started to feel that sense of joy I used to have. Now everytime I think of this I either fall asleep to this, cry about something, or its just me zoning out in my own flood of memory lane. Either way I still have to move on and experience the rest of my childhood until I hit 18 years. I will always love the Wii and Wii U. Both will forever be my favorite Nintendo products.
