As someone who got the Gen 4+ Pokémon as shinies with the GB icon, I used the shiny Ditto exploit for this. Works if you have at least 2 3DS's with Gen 1 on one and Gen 2 on the other. Make sure your shiny Gyarados doesn't have any Gen 2 moves and trade it to your Gen 1 game. Take it to the mimic girl in Saffron and teach it Mimic. Send it back to Gen 2 and go to the Move Deleter in Blackthorn and delete any move that isn't Mimic. Send it back to Gen 1 and hunt for Ditto. Have Gyarados Mimic Ditto's Transform. Wait for Ditto to use Transform twice before catching it. Send Ditto to your Gen 2 game and if done correctly, it will be shiny. Breed it with any Pokémon for a 1/64 odds for a shiny offspring. 😎
I got this from bulbapedia about Dudunsparce: "Since Natures were determined via personality value prior to Generation V (which itself is indistinct from encryption constants prior to Generation VI), a Hardy Nature Dunsparce with the Ability Serene Grace that is transferred from Generation III or IV to Generation IX will have a 50% chance of evolving into Three-Segment Form Dudunsparce, whereas Dunsparce with other Natures or the Ability Run Away will always evolve into the Two-Segment Form."
Take it a step further and beat the elite four in sun/moon then transfer to home. Repeat beating the elite four in sword/shield and have extra ribbons/titles

In case you don't know, that Ribbon is from Colosseum and XD and is given to Purified Pokemon. Shadow Dunsparce is in Colosseum. Here's the thing: You have to beat the game with every attempt because trading to the Gen 3 games requires that.
There’s actually a way to sort of cheese the dudunsparce hunt if you’re on colosseum, if you catch the dunsparce and it has a hardy nature and serene grace, transferring it to sv gives it a 50% chance of being a 3 segment. Not to mention that pokemon emerald has a post game clone glitch means that you can get as many dunsparce as you want to try for a 3 segment. This specific trick only applies to dunsparce caught in gens 3 & 4 btw, any dunsparce caught after gen 4 still carry that 1% chance

I'm not sure if you noted it anywhere, but for those of you who prefer that the Pokémon originate from their original region, this won't work if you catch them all in Crystal. Anything caught in Crystal would still show as caught in Johto region even if you caught it in Kanto on those games.
I was able to get the GB mark three segment Dudunsparce using the cloning glitch in Cristal to get a bunch of Dunsparce. There is an internal Id that is randomly populated once you transfer the mon to the PokeBank, so every Dunsparece is technically unique and has the 1% chance to become three segment in SV.
You can also influence the nature these Pokémon will have as their natures are depending on the last two digits in the Pokémon's gained XP. If you store them directly in the pc after having caught them, their XP will end with 00, meaning Hardy nature. Also, wouldn't it be even more special to have the Kanto Pokémon come from Red, Blue, or Yellow, such as Mankey?
You know what’s worse than doing that once. Doing it before Gen 9 then doing it again to get a dudunsparce. Good news is I will always have 1 in my game so I can breed it
All thise can get some interesting moves like zap cannon, toxic. Use the box programming to make them shiny. Also usef the cloning glich fro pokemon transfer

Collect all the event pokemon + pokemon easter egg in game (for example: magicarp lvl 100 in platinum) and above all I made a list of all the things per game so that it is considered 100% finished (the dolls in green leaf for example )
Sadly i don't have a FireRed and LeafGreen.. i have alot of Pokémon doesn't have a mark from my original Ruby,Emerald, HeartGold, Platinum, Diamond etc, then transfer to Gen 6 then to HOMEe tc. Also i'm collecting some of those ribbons like "Hall of Fame Ribbon from my Ruby Emerald, Kalos Ribbon" etc

They have growth rates and have specific nature on transfer depending on the level you migrate them. Though mints exist current gen at least i should get that info out. There's a growth rate level/nature table on transfer out there for GSC.
I'm going to get a Scyther from Pokemon XD and beat the game with it then I'll send him to Fire Red so he can beat the Kanto Elite 4, then to Emerald to beat the elite 4 there, then i will send it to heart gold to beat Red and he'll go to Platinum to once again fight the elite 4. then hell go to Black 2, beat the Unova elite 4 and move on to Pokemon X and beat the elite 4 there also. I dont know if I'll send it to ORAS since hes already been to Hoenn but I'll then go to Alola and become the champion there as well. then it'll go to Shield, become a champion there, then I'll make him travel to the distant past and he will evolve into Kleavor. after that he will go into SV where it will say hes from a distant land and he will be champion of every region with an evolution from a time before his own.
You should send it to ORAS because the ribbon from RSE/FRLG is exactly the same,: the “champion ribbon” but the one in ORAS is different, it’s actually specifically for the Hoenn league

But I also wish to trade in a Wailmer to teach it self-destruct just cause it seems morbidly funny and move him up to Galar so he still keeps the move.
The closest thing is the game telling you that the Pokémon is old when looking in the location it was caught. It says “It went through space and time to reach you from the ___region. How nostalgic!”

If you're soft resetting, Female starters and Eevee in gen 2 cannot be shiny.
I evolved the partner Pikachu from Yellow into Alolan Raichu. Take that Yellow, never letting me evolve Pikachu!

I did this for all Pokémon that evolve from a Pokémon from a previous region/generation for my living form dex.
Another rare Pokémon to get is having an Sylveon which was once an Eevee from FireRed and have it earned the Earth Badge from Colosseum or XD.

Yeah there are plenty of people who or the origin versions of the Living Dex, getting a Pokémon in the generation where they originally came from.
