😬 Don't eat this one. Too much salt, oil, cholesterol, highly-processed starch for a single serving portion. Despite the charming presentation, I could feel my arteries hardening as I watched.
You can enjoy it once every 2-3 weeks but avoid overconsumption. At your age, it's better to focus on a plant-based diet with plenty of fiber and fish. Try incorporating keto noodles such as The keto pasta noodles , which are a great option. When cooking, use olive oil instead of butter-not quite as rich in flavor, but a much healthier choice with added benefits
Hello from Tennessee USA. I made this for my wife and I and it was delicious. I did it a little different. We used Shin black ramen and I mixed the sauce with about 1 1/2 tbsp of water and used half of that instead of oyster sauce (we like spicy food). We loved this thank you so much for sharing
Hello! I'm from Arkansas, living in Cali. I've done that as well and it is very good! You really should try the oyster sauce though. It is worth it. I use it all the time making Ban Fan, another extremely easy (and cheap) Asian dish. Contrary to the name it doesn't smell fishy, and when combined with soy sauce it makes for the perfect stir-fry.
Wow! A new way to cook ramen (at least for me), will definitely be trying this, looks delicious. Edit: made it, it’s really good. A great way to turn a lighter meal into something super substantial and flavorful. If any of you want to make alterations on this I have a few ideas. 1. Add 1/4tsp beef or chicken bullion to the garlic butter and incorporate. 2. If you want to add mixed veggies then add 1/2 cup before you start the noodles. May need to increase the sauce if you go this route. 3. When adding the olive oil to the pan add a splash (1/4tbs) of sesame oil as well, that is just enough to get that light sesame flavor without overpowering other flavors.
My mind is spinning with all the different ways to use those noodles. I love trying new things. And I love it when I try something so different, and my husband asks….did you make this? I say yes I did. And then he says “this is really good!” Makes cooking so much more fun. Thanks again for your recipes. I just found your channel! Take care and be well.
Just made this, and it was lovely. A similar taste-profile to some European pasta-recipes but rendered distinct by the oyster-sauce and the texture of the noodles. My partner and I had a bowl each, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
Indonesia especially in java, has simillar recipe to this called bakmi jawa, minus the osyter sauce, hehe it has two variants, with soup (some places use chicken broth for the soup) and without soup (some places will put sweet soy sauce in it), but we use egg noodle and or clear noodle (mie bihun-usually made from corn), both taste great but I love the mie bihun with soup hehe
This looks delicious 🤩 I cook ramen similarly to this, but main difference is I break the egg directly onto the ramen whilst it's cooking in the pan with the spring onion, garlic, butter and seasoning (after the water's been drained ofc) and stir it a lot. I add the oyster sauce when it's nearly done. Thank you for sharing your methods!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Not sure what I enjoyed the most 🤣😂 the recipe or the sound and image effects 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Looks delicious, I’ll definitely try making it. Thank you for sharing 💕🙋🏾♀️🇨🇩
If you'll add one dollop of oyster sauce and a around teaspoon of Sriracha(pr Sambal Oelek, Korean chili paste, or whatever kind of hot sauce you like) to the eggs when you beat them you'll get the tastiest scrambled eggs you've ever tried. It's much, MUCH tastier to add the oyster sauce to a dish before cooking than to use it as a simple condiment. The cooking brings out a complex sweet and savory quality that is mostly hidden by the saltiness of oyster sauce used right out of the bottle.
Just wanted to say thank you. I found your channel about 1.5 years ago on my other YT account. I remember because sadly my mother had passed. For some strange reason I took to YT to occupy my kind at the time. 1.5 years later and tour videos still bring me peace and remind to enjoy the little things like food. Many thanks and love from 🇨🇦🍻
Your recipes are such a fun pleasure to watch, As well as being tasty. Also, I love your salt dispenser. Could you please put a link to where I can buy one ?
I make this the same way at weekends and when working from home, but I add a lot of home made chilli and garlic paste, the oyster sauce really makes this dish special. I’m an addict.
Ive been cooking that during my lowest of low, i wasn't the best cook, but i needed a quick meal, and that was the one i had tried to cook, albeit different ingredients.
I usually only keep a small amount of water, making the powder more of a high flavored sauce, so this would be something for me since I’m not a huge fan of the broth part. Except when I add egg, the egg drop requires broth usually. So this is like best of both worlds, plus mixing the powder entirely for fresh ingredients I love it
Looks great--love ramen Going to try this with some plant-based egg replacer as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and choline and lead in eggs. Thanks so much for sharing
There is no possible way I would have been able to pick up the noodles with a pair of chopsticks. Sometimes I have problems just draining them. 😆 I admire Master Haru abilities. Loved the recipe, easy and simple. ☺
I wanna eat this so bad right now, but it’s 8 in the morning and we don’t have garlic and spring onions at home 😩 It looks soooooo good! Edit: so today i bought all the ingredients and tried it myself - it tastes even better than it looks! thanks for the great recipe!
Thank you, I'm 80 years old and live in assisted living I just discovered Ramen noodles. All I have is a microwave but I'm sure I can make this work.
oh wow! ramen is nice, but you dont have a little thing to cook? All the best from Vienna!
You can do it

Complete waste of shin black ramen imo. You’re paying mostly for the packets not the ramen.
Someone’s fun a parties
Black shin ramen is my favorite. I like to add green onion w. cilantro & a fried egg 🔥🤌

@ERBanmech, thanks for the tips. Sounds really good 🙂
That looks delicious! Great vid! Just wish that the recipe wasn't 600 calories in just butter and oil alone.
Add a bit less.
@@MHarenArt but...but...it wouldn't taste as good!!!!! :D
Just cut the oil & butter it in half, but keep a little of the hot water to add back in to replace the butter bit by bit.
this was so good! i also added miso paste, sesame seeds, and instead of oyster sauce mixed worcestershire and soy sauce
Oo I've used those too, always fun to try dif ways
I use about 1/3rd the amount of oil and it comes out great.
Seriously, that was so much oil and butter for a one-person meal...
I thought the same thing lol, was probably delicious though!

the amount of oil tho...looking forward to healthier recipes
