Cool video!! ❤ I don’t know if you saw the videos by the guys who attempted the Backlogs one hit challenge. How can this be the highest DPS, when they killed all bosses one hit? Am I getting something wrong? 🤔
dps is damage per second. Literally the maximum amount of damage you can deal in the shortest amount of time consistently and consecutively. In order to oneshot most bosses people use combinations like rtsr; power within; dragon roar etc, all things that either lasts 2 sec; will kill you in a matter of seconds or need a lot of set up time, and so being "slower"
The highest possible DPS is probably still just dark bead, lol. Especially if you max out your casting speed and use the same buffs, since it'll only take one cast to kill almost every single boss even in higher NGs.

okay but wouldn't the highest dps actually be different for every boss, as they all have different weaknesses? like seath is very resistant to magic damage so sunlight blade would be better dps, right?
I do know for most bosses that this is optimal. I'm not super well versed in resistances and damage formula calculations, but even so, this is the highest amount of AR you can output consistently, so that was my main goal. Still, Painting Guardian Sword is not the highest DPS weapon in the game. It just has the highest DPS R1s in the game. But the highest POSSIBLE DPS weapon in the game is Ricard's Rapier with its R2s. The way buffs work in this game, the whole amount is applied on every single hit, so the flurry of attacks can deal 2-3 times more damage than anything else in the game (if you have an opening big enough to use the R2).

It's almost like I talked about that in the video I'm not gonna use a buff that drains my stamina and lasts a few seconds in a DPS build. A build about having high sustained damage. Not burst damage
I wasn't expecting to put one out this fast, either, tbh, but it seemed really fun and I didn't need to record much commentary, which was perfect for my current situation lol
The only problem with that is that it's hard limited by spell cast count. I could definitely check out Dark Bead damage maximization, that just doesn't make much sense for a "dps" build specifically in my mind.
@@solarpellets which makes me thing. Dark moon blade isn't a "limited buff" also? So, dark bead is also limited, not in a duration sense, but in number of use. But wouldn't it be the same for categorization purposes?
Most didn't actually take that many, just cause I have well over 500 hours in this game. Kalameet took the most by far, but I beat Orstein and Smough first try, for instance. Nito was a little rough, too, but largely it wasn't bad.
I'm sorry to be THAT Guy as well... BUUUT, This is still Wrong, as you Missed the 50% Attack boost from "Dragon Torso Stone" for roaring with it... It's a minor one, as it only lasts for 10 seconds, buuuut I couldn't let it slide either lol, sorry not sorry :)
I've tried using it before, but I wasn't even able to hit Artorias with it. I do want to do this again with the crystal infusion, though, while explaining what I did better, so I'll be sure to try it out again then
@@solarpelletsDragon Roar buff requires practice, as it's not conventionally used with DPS weapons and more with 1-Hit Weapons, but if practiced thorughly, makes for some devastating DPS boosts. Also keep in mind that for Some bosses, DarkMoon Blade is actually worse than just straight infusions or raw Physical damage (like the DLC Bosses who have extreme resistance to elemental damage) I enjoy the vid, i'm not trying to correct you, merely wanting to point out the Absolute LIMIT that DS1 has with "DPS", while DS1's DPS amount is on no other level compared to later games, nothing beats the Sheer 1-Shot damage that severely outperforms DPS Builds in DS1, (mainly because the 1-Shot record is almost 3x more damage than the highest Boss HP in the game...) so it's nice to see an actual DPS build
Yeah, but this dps is achievable without any glitches. I just used glitches to get it faster lol. I'll mess with glitches soon, but I know some other ways to increase the DPS without them now, so it might be a bit.
huh? The difficulty in the games never came from speed until Elden Ring, and at that point they only made them faster because they wanted it to be difficult for difficulty's sake. The difficulty comes from learning how to respond to the attacks, and knowing when and how is safe to attack. Once you learn that, it's easy, sure, but that doesn't mean it has no difficulty.

The only problem with that is that it's hard limited by spell cast count. I could definitely check out Dark Bead damage maximization, that just doesn't make much sense for a "dps" build specifically in my mind.
@@solarpellets get it now. You mean the highest dps weapon in the game that you can keep using without the risk off running out soon, is that it?
@@solarpellets which makes me thing. Dark moon blade isn't a "limited buff" also? So, dark bead is also limited, not in a duration sense, but in number of use. But wouldn't it be the same for categorization purposes?
@@armando12322 Yeah, basically. That's why I didn't use the DTS, either.
But dragon buffff
don't wanna ask how many tries each boss took. Playing in that state must be very stressfull.
Congratulations anyway.
Most didn't actually take that many, just cause I have well over 500 hours in this game. Kalameet took the most by far, but I beat Orstein and Smough first try, for instance. Nito was a little rough, too, but largely it wasn't bad.
Bloodborne challenge runs pls
I would love to, however I don't know what runs to do lol
amazing job dude. i can only dream of such things, i suck at fromsoft games.
I dont understand WHY you have to be cursed bro?!😅
Also keep in mind that for Some bosses, DarkMoon Blade is actually worse than just straight infusions or raw Physical damage (like the DLC Bosses who have extreme resistance to elemental damage)
I enjoy the vid, i'm not trying to correct you, merely wanting to point out the Absolute LIMIT that DS1 has with "DPS", while DS1's DPS amount is on no other level compared to later games, nothing beats the Sheer 1-Shot damage that severely outperforms DPS Builds in DS1, (mainly because the 1-Shot record is almost 3x more damage than the highest Boss HP in the game...) so it's nice to see an actual DPS build
highest dps? you just use CMW on a Stone GS with a bug and watch mobs fkin melt.
Yeah, but this dps is achievable without any glitches. I just used glitches to get it faster lol. I'll mess with glitches soon, but I know some other ways to increase the DPS without them now, so it might be a bit.
highest dps in elden ring ayo?
THIS IS NOT THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE DPS!
You are a fraud. Why? +5 Crystal Weapons, that's why.
Jokes aside though, great video.
Redeemed
The pain of being the 70th like and ruining that perfect 69
i suggest elden ring
Nope, this still isn't the highest, I think.
Oh man was this game always so slow? The bosses move like in slow motion compared to elden ring. This game has literally zero difficulty
