In this video we talk about moving to dubai and the 5 things I wish I knew before moving to the uae and living in dubai. Dubai is an amazing city with zero taxes if you open a freezone company in Dubai but it has some downsides as well, and we need to discuss them.
A lot of foreigners moving to dubai don't consider these 5 things and end up being confused or frustrated with Dubai since it can be overwhelming to live in Dubai. Dubai weather can get really hot in summer as well as Dubai Emirates IDs can be complicated to obtain, we discuss many more issues in this videos.
    Mentioned in this video:
tax friendly countries, avoid taxes, pay zero taxes, move to another country, move abroad, move to another city, how to move abroad, lower my taxes, avoid taxes legally, low tax countries, best countries to live, dubai taxes zero, start a company in dubai, move to dubai, buy a home in dubai, dubai real estate, dubai properties, dubai hot, weather in dubai, dubai too hot, dubai roads, dubai driving license, dubai emirates id, emirates ID uae, dubai residency visa, dark side of dubai.
Other related people in this topic:
    Nomad capitalist, offshore citizen.

Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in a twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you are no longer accumulating but withdrawing its hard to be anything but cautious…

The biggest mistake you can make when investing is to think that you are smarter than the market. It’s almost impossible to time the consistently, you will miss out on great opportunities if you do this, simply DCA into high conviction stocks and let your position grow.

Do you also need to show your Emirates ID at the immigration when you arrive or depart Dubai? Or, your UAE Residence Permit Visa on your passport should suffice to clear immigration at the airport?

Usually not since the bank can't know anything about the place in another country. The house can't be a security for the loan.

Bro, have one rule in life if you consider yourself a righteous person: try not to do anything in life that you are not willing to take at least some responsibility about. And if something does go wrong, have skin in the game to be willing to personally help fix it.
Please read 'skin in the game' by Nassim Taleb.

You said, exchange the driving licence... this means you loose the one from your "old" country in order to received the UAE driving license? And what about if you go to Europe back to holiday for a view weeks? The UAE driving license is not valid there to rent/drive a car.
