I used to hunt cottontails back home in Wyoming… it was kinda like Forrest and Bubba talking about cooking shrimp… fried rabbit, boiled rabbit, baked rabbit, rabbit stew, rabbit salad, stuffed rabbit…. Ahhhhhh…. No more rabbit as it’s has been a few years lol. Awesome hunt… I used my 1976 .36 caliber TC Seneca back then to hunt rabbit. Thank you for sharing. God bless your 2024
Congratulations on your hunt . I've hunted them with a flintlock charleville musket before using number 6 shot . Did a lot of squirrel hunting with that musket .
Have you noticed a decline in rabbits here in missouri? I used to see them all over the place but the last 5 years or so i see very few of them. Saw one the other day and it was a rare sight. Abd i dont mean the city rabbits. I mean wild rabbits in the bush.
In my area it seems the opposite, they are all over the place, one reason they may be scarce in your area is people are not predator hunting and trapping as much anymore. Thanks for watching.
Fried rabbit and rabbit gravy with a couple homemade biscuits. Ahhhh fit for a king.
a real nice video.thanks
Always appreciate you sharing the load info and other knowledge, thanks

Looks like fun! I've taken a squirrels with mine but not a rabbit yet. They are good eating!
Thanks, I can't wait to try it.
If you whistle at them on the run, they'll stop majority of the time.

Good job, Josh! I have taken several snowshoe Hare with the flintlock. Takes some patience!
Excellent video, rabbit can be a challenging critter to hunt with a flintlock
Congrats, Josh! I hunted them years ago with my caplocks, but can't say as I've hunted them successfully with a flinter.
Nice job !!
Congrats and thank you for sharing 👍👌🔥
